Excellent Experience (Twice)

Karen was an excellent no pressure sales person, made me feel at ease with my purchase. We had great conversations in between the down times waiting for paperwork. This is my second used car from Lasco and both times I have had a great experience. Look forward to dealing with them in the future. They won't disappoint you.

Fantastic service

R.J. - Great Customer Service

My son and I informed RJ as to what we were looking for and he made a point of searching for us and calling us back to keep us updated. Once the truck was located at the other facility, he made a point of reaching out to that Sales Manager to expect us.

Dishonest and incompetent

Bought vehicle from Lasco in Fenton, Turns out it needs all new front suspension parts. Bought the car less than 30 days ago. Lasco did an inspection before selling it, so either one of two things are happening. 1 Lasco knew the parts were bad on vehicle and decided not to fix and not disclose to unsuspecting customer. 2 Lasco has incompetent mechanics working on people's vehicles. Either way I am now stuck with a $26000.00 vehicle that needs $2500.00 worth of front end work. I have been swindled and Lasco has offered zero help resolving these issues. There are plenty of honest dealerships in the genesee county area . Unfortunately Lasco isn't one of them. I have replaced power steering pump, upper ball joints and tie-rods. All at cost to me, the front strut/shocks are $900.00 plus labor..I haven't done this repair yet because of financial burden I have already paid for repair listed. Everything I have stated in this description of my experience is true and I have records to prove it. The intent of this description is to get attention brought to Lasco ford in Fenton for poor dealer practices. Lasco takes pride in delivery the best customer service possible. In this case, the customer purchased an older, 100,000 mile vehicle that was fully inspected and passed all safety inspections. One of the items that arose after delivery was covered under his warranty, but the others are not parts that need to be replaced. There is some minor wear on the maintenance parts mentioned but they are not in need of replacement any time soon. Lasco worked with the customer the best they could to compenstate and even purchased center caps that had an issue after the delivery.

Consumer response

This is a typical non informed response given by Lasco about said vehicle. The vehicle does have mileage no question. The wear parts the Lasco is referring to are powersteering pump ( not pulley) upper and lower ball joint, outer tie rods and both front shock absorbers. All totaling $2500.00. These vehicle has been inspected by grand point automotive and belle tire within 30 days after purchase so you be the judge if the wear parts were out of tolerance at the time of sale. Furthermore I purchased an aftermarket warranty (which is a shame) so the repairs done were at a cost to me not Lasco. Believe me they did me no favor when then say they bought center caps. They did but they are some cheap China crap not even FACTORY OEM. STAY AWAY believe me you'll be happier you did. I do have to go Lasco and cancel a warranty and my gap. I'll keep you posted how my visit goes. I won't even mention my two trips to Lasco service regarding an alignment.

My wife was in the market to lease a Fusion or a Focus. She was very happy with the Fusion Garret suggested and with the arrangement provided by the Lasco team. Garret was professional and informative during the entire process. My wife is pleased with the Fusion.

Best car buying experience to date

I would just like to say we had a great truck buying experience. Steve Smith was a great salesmen with excellent knowledge of the truck I bought. I feel we got a good deal on our trade and a even better deal on the truck we bought. And our credit union could not touch the interest rate lasco got us. The finance was smooth and Blake was not pushy like some other dealerships. Thanks again to Matt, Steve,Annie and Blake.

Emily Lorencz is the Best

Just drove my new Explorer XLT home from Lasco. Emily went above and beyond in searching and acquiring my ride. It all came off without a hitch. I just love my new Explorer. Even though I live in Farmington Hills it was well worth my drive to Fenton to go to Lasco Ford a True-Car Dealership. I would highly recommend them.
