Use caution. They get you in with online deals but they don’t materialize once you get there. They show sticker price but hide dealer based add-ins that are not necessary but overpriced dealer additions to inflate cost in fine print. Pictures and window stickers don’t reflect true pricing given online. 5000 in options added by local dealer to vehicle hidden in fine print. Not even worth a one star
Bought a 2022 Demo.
Bought a 2022 Demo.Had issues with the brakes. Cory Becker/salesman was great. When I took it to service I was introduced to Matt. I've never had anyone as attentive and caring. Sitting in the waiting room he came in several times to update me on the vehicle, when parts had to be ordered, he texted me at home and immediately got my car in to complete the service. The next day I received a follow up text making sure the brakes weren't squeaking. Thanks to Matt for putting my mind at ease and making service a great experience.
Dishonest as far as getting your car serviced/repaired.
Dishonest as far as getting your car serviced/repaired. Do not follow-up on repair service. I have been trying to get my car serviced/repaired since December 2022. It is now February 2023 and I haven't received any notice. I have also been told several times that action was being taken to get my car serviced with no occurence. This is dishonest and I do not appreciate being given the runaround treatment. Driving my car without this service is very unsafe.
I have not received any notice of when my car can be expected to be repaired. It has been four months. I have contacted you several times to have my wiper blade motor replaced. Last year in December it was inspected by you. This repair is covered under my warranty also. Andrew has spoken with me several times about this issue. Driving my car is a safety issue. S. They had a truck advertised I wanted to buy, probably
They had a truck advertised I wanted to buy, probably would have been the easiest sale of the week for them - ticked all my boxes, had a good price, I was sold. 7 days of dinking around, a digital enema on my trade, and they just ghosted me. I couldn't get them to take a deposit, send a contract, or quote a final out the door price. I wasn't even at the point of making an offer or haggling, they just flat out wouldn't take my business for some unknown reasons. No replies, no response, the vehicle in questions is still listed for sale. I literally tried to buy a vehicle they had advertised and couldn't find a way to possibly do it. They just flat out stopped communicating. I have no clue what this dealers angle is, but I would never consider purchasing from them again based on my experience - which is that it's literally impossible to buy a vehicle from them. Odd I know, but that was my experience. When they were replying, I was asking for a trade in value. At other dealers this is a send them pictures, send them the VIN, get a price type thing. At Lasco, it was 5 full days of back and forth questions - each day led to new questions for no good reason at all. They even wanted me to scan my drivers license and send them confidential personal information before giving me a price. Once I told them I would pass on the trade and would just like to purchase the vehicle outright, they just stopped replying to me or communicating at all. Wierdest buying experience I've ever had, and a huge waste of hours and hours of my time.
Trying to get $10,000 over sticker
Even though they stated a firm price in writing, when I showed up they refused to honor the price and are trying to get $10-15,000 OVER MSRP. Will never even consider this dealership in the future. Pure greed at it's best.
We have purchased 5 cars from Lasco, but the relationship
We have purchased 5 cars from Lasco, but the relationship is over. They don't listen to their customers, I knew my trade would require me to carry over some, but certainly not what they were offering. I gave them my stipulations on what I needed as far as trade, downpayment and monthly payment. With the prior 5 vehicles we really never had a issue. This time however, it was a real issue, mostly because they would not listen. Even when I when I came with my own finance already set, they tried to get me to finance at a higher rate then what I had gotten approved for. I went to another dealer and got a newer car with 30,000 less miles, truck was paid off and I got the payment I wanted. I will no longer call Lasco my dealership nor will I recommed them. Just a shame...
This dealership has major issues!!!
Not only did they sell me a “certified preowned” truck with open recalls but lied about knowing it had them. Took over a week to even get to talk to the service department. When I tried to return the truck, they gave me a hard time. Once it was finally accepted as returned. They would not give me my down payment back until they got the electronic title back from the state. They also put the vehicles I traded in up for sale while I went without an auto for almost a full month driving their loaner truck. When I tried to buy a new truck they tried everything in their power to get me into another used. After over a month, I was able to get my down payment back and purchase a new truck. Called me and told me I filled out the wrong paperwork and would need to resign everything. Thinking I was finally done with this dealership, I then realized that they did not give me everything on the window sticker!!! Once I got that I figured I was finished with them once and for all. But no!!! They began harassing me to come sign the title for the truck I returned. Calling me 3-4 times a day and texting as well! This dealership has a lot of issues with communication within and is just a pain to work with. I would recommend that if you want to buy do not ever enter their lot!! They are the worst dealership I have ever dealt with and I have bought over many cars in my lifetime.
A GREAT PLACE TO GET YOUR CREDIT MESSED WITH...
THIS BY FARE WAS THE WORST DEALERSHIP EXPECENCE I HAVE EVER HAD .THERE FINANCE MANAGER SENT MY DEAL TO 15 BANKS WHICH DROPPED MY CREDIT SCORE BY 55 POINT .THERE WAS NO RESUN TO SEND IT TO 15 BANKS THIS WAS A BAD EXPERNCE .THEY ALSO TRY TO STEAL MY TRADE IN BUY ONLY PUTTING 2000.00 IN IT .THE ONLY RESUN I GAVE THEM AT A CHANCE AT MY BUSSINESS WAS BECAUSE THEY HAD THE VEHICAL I WAS LOOKING FOR.I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENIMEE.
called ahead and was told by nick that they had the
called ahead and was told by nick that they had the vehicle i was looking for. told him i live 93 miles away and he said he would have the vehicle pulled up and waiting, when i called he even put me on hold to make sure the vehicle was still available. showed up an hour and a half later and the vehicle was not available. it was never available, it was a vehicle that was ordered by another customer and then he tried to sell me another vehicle that was a lot more money with a completely different drivetrain and color, thanks for wasting my time, he baited me in to try to upsell me another more expensive car. do not trust him, clearly not a man yet.
Anywhere but Lasco....Purchase at your own risk!!!
Lasco is the reason I will never purchase another Ford product. Worst Dealership EVER!!! If you transport children or rely on your car for work, please buy your next vehicle anywhere else, because with a Lasco Vehicle you too may need to walk 2 miles to work or miss your child's school event when you're vehicle sits roadside. I wish I experienced the 5 star service of these other reviewers, but I definitely did not. It's almost like they think it's funny that I purchased a faulty, dangerous vehicle to transport my family. 3 weeks after Purchasing a used Ford Taurus, the transmission started acting up after I drove less than 300 miles since purchasing. I called my sales rep (who now works at different dealer) in early June, left messages with the service manager (who was on vacation) and never called back. I called 2 weeks later and was told "as is means as is" and they would not do anything. I purchased the car in 4/26/2022, issue started 3 weeks later and now, on October 1st must replace the transmission on this $8000 used car. I test drove the vehicle 2x, both times they started and let warm up each time. I'm assuming this is because the transmission issues only appeared after cold start. They were aware of issues, but did nothing, so I had to continue driving with intermittent transmission problems. Now, transmission left me stranded... and I'm still waiting for someone to contact me after leaving 3 more messages in past 2 weeks. 10/11/2022 edit: After posting this, Cameron from Lasco Ford service department left me a voicemail during my work hrs on 10/03/2022. I returned the call later that day and have left 3 voicemails since, with no call back. Today, I called the dealer number instead of Cameron's direct number. I just spent 20 minutes on hold waiting for Cameron to pick up the phone. I hung up and called back only to find out he has been on lunch this whole time I waited on hold. I'll update if I get a call back ☹️... 10/13/22 - I now realize Lasco Ford replied to this review, only to look like they cared after negative, but truthful feedback. They are perfectly comfortable selling faulty vehicles. I can officially say Lasco Ford is the kind of dealer that gives car dealers a bad name. 10 days and 9 messages later I finally spoke with the service manager and was told to bring my car next monday for them to diagnose the transmission issues. Less than an hour later, I received a new voicemail saying not to bring my car because they will not even diagnose the pre-existing issue and "as is means as is". I will never buy another Ford and will tell everyone I know not to do business with this Dealership - dishonest people selling questionable and dangerous vehicles.
