Wow. The sketchiness of Barber Ford of Holland continues. After being blocked and my review being deleted, the salesman's mom and wife wrote reviews as... if they were customers. Ben Kleis was the deceitful salesman I dealt with.
Decent parts. Nice facility. Awful service. To preface, I work second shift so it's hard coordinating times that work for picking up vehicles. I needed... an oil change, check engine light diagnostic, and right front wheel bearing inspection. Took it in on Wednesday morning. Said they would call by 5. Never called. Called the next morning at 10 saying I needed a $1000 cat converter and a $500 bearing replacement. I opted out of the converter. They actually were able to do the bearing decently fast. They called late in the day (while I was at work) Thursday so my wife went and paid the $700 (extra 200 for oil change and diagnostics) and picked up my keys. When I got off from work (11PM) to pick up my car the battery is dead. So Friday morning I have to drop my keys off again, and have them "diagnose" the issue. The problem was the tech left my lights on. Another 2 hours later I'm good to go. Never apologized. Never offered to compensate my inconvenience of giving up most of my morning (again I work second shift, so getting up at 8 am to drop off keys is really early). I have had some electrical issues since then but will not be taking it back. In my limited experience with costumer service, literally making their car temporarily unusable is unacceptable.

I brought my escape in for repairs from someone smashing their car door into mine, Smokey was very kind and helpful. Then I asked if I could get an oil... change before I picked it up, and he went to service and they did that for me before I picked it up. Very courteous and very timely.
Brought car in to Barber Ford for an oil change and recall repair. Called to tell us it's done, only to find out they only did the recall repair and no... oil change, so another trip to pick it up again later. WHY DON'T GUYS LISTEN!!! Not good service!

I had transmission concerns, but they reprogrammed it and it seems to be shifting ok. The real test will come pulling my wave runners up a hill. I a very... satisfied with the service.

New Explorer ... Experience was fast and friendly. I went in with a single goal and they acquired what I requested within a few days. I cannot rate... repairs because I was only there to purchase. No service experience yet.
The staff made a slot for my vehicle when I called with the ABS issue. I did not ask or expect to be able to get in so quickly, but they have concern... over the safety.
