My daughter brought her 2021 Ford Ecosport in for an oil

My daughter brought her 2021 Ford Ecosport in for an oil change last week. Her vehicle was purchased new and has 20,000 miles on it. The service advisor told her that her REAR brake pads and calipers were worn out and she needed new ones right then- $800! Fortunately, she called me before she had any work done. It's a front wheel drive vehicle- rear brakes never wear out before front. I told her to drive the hour home so another shop could look at it. Her rear brake pads were at 95% and there was nothing wrong with her calipers. If I could file a police report for fraud, I would. My daughter, our family will never have service done work here again and we will let our friends know as well.

STAY AWAY.

STAY AWAY...We are lifelong Ford buyers and since we bought our F150 in May 2022 we have spent $4000 in repair cost at this dealership. They sold us a extended warranty that covers nothing. I have bought with many other dealerships this is the only one that does not attempt to help. Our salesman was extremely nice and this is no way his fault. This is a management and service dept issue.

Lifelong Ford buyer but stay away from here

Be very carful with this dealership. We only by Ford and the experience we have had her since our purchase in May 2022 with our F150 has been awful. We purchased an additional warranty for $2500 since this time we have put $4000 in repair into this truck with their service dept. none which have been covered by plan. They sell bad coverages with promises they can't keep and vehicles with issues they over look and blame other for. Go to another dealership and save your money.

Buyer Be Very Wary of this Dealership.....

Extremely shady deceitful practice!! OMG do they deflect, tell stories, try to validate falsehoods. I did dd with info at hand and still got taken by this dealership. Vehicle looked beautiful, however that's where it ends! I have never written a negative review in my life however this warrants one. Be extremely careful of purchasing used vehicles from them. I would have an inspection of an independent mechanic prior to purchase with this dealership. Bought a vehicle from them with defective tires, services not completed as advertised, information on service history withheld in order to close the sale prior to end of month. Water pooling inside the rear tire well, 5 documented AC/ Heat, electrical service issues upon digging into service records after the dealership guaranteeing me the car was clean and the dealers car he drove. Assured me that it was ok forge my wife's name on all paperwork for title P and S, etc rather then overnighting paperwork for her to sign. The list goes on and on! Todd is your typical sales guy glass half full wants to be your best friend personality. After signing, he asked if the finance guy was an xxx to me, which I responded and said, well, his personality definitely sucks! Another sales guy named Matt, who tried to justify defects with the vehicle stating oh yeah, my wife's car did the same thing as what's happening to your car so you can assume that the defect is perfectly ok! Jennifer whom she states is the GM of the facility spoke 95% of the time when hearing my concerns and asking for remediation; instead of listening, I had enough of her talking over me and trying to convince me that there was nothing she can do, Which is interesting considering Todd, my initial sales associate said that the dealership would pay for half the cost of the defective tires! Jennifer then advises me that "I'm stuck with the vehicle and best of luck! I notified the dealership less then 24 hours after purchase of issues with their vehicle they sold me and called daily until Jennifer decided to pick up the phone and speak to me which was 14 days after purchase. Imagine 14 days!! When asked why it took so long, you can imagine the excuses that came out of her mouth! She was defensive and belligerent! I don't know about you but I can't accept this type of behavior from a business whom treat the customers in this fashion with deceit in order to make a sale!! It's too bad that they wouldn't have listened and worked with me on this xxxx vehicle, now because of their inaction and deflection, it'll cost them a lot more time, effort and a lot more money and resources!! Delacy, after you read this review...how does Surety Bond claim sound for "undisclosed facts about the vehicle condition that has become evident after the purchase" If only you had listened to my issues Jennifer with this vehicle rather then running your mouth! Now you have caused your Owner of Delacy Ford a slew of problems as I am going after you. And by the way! Best of Luck!

Ripoff

Do not buy a car from these people. My daughter saved for years to buy a used car and 2 months later the control arm broke and they refused to fix saying it doesn’t fall under the lemon law and I bought the car as is. Not there problem. After them having the car for 4 days. Rude staff. Doesn’t return calls. Doesn’t care about doing the right thing all about the money. My daughter is crushed over this They could care less. Stay away. Calling corporate office all well. Just horrible people

Amazing Salesman! Finance guy...not so much

My Wife and I stopped at Delacy while on a used car search. We went to a few other dealerships, Delacy just happened to be on our way home. We decided to stop in and look at explorers, however she found a Jeep Wrangler on the lot she fell in love with. We went inside, and stood around for about 10 min for someone to acknowledge our existence. (In their defense, they seemed super busy). A man eventually asked if we were being taken care of, and directed us over to an available salesman. The Salesman, Kevin was awesome. Hands down best experience I have ever had with a car salesman. Kevin offered up a test drive and had a no pressure attitude. We returned from our test drive and decided quickly, we wanted the Jeep. Kevin was straightforward with us, even admitted he is not a Jeep expert (we figured, its a Ford Dealership after all) and helped every way he could to answer questions we had. Initially their finance company could not come close to our credit union interest rate, so we decided to wait for our credit union to process the application. Much to our disappointment, the credit union took FOREVER to process the loan. After a few days, we gave up hope on the credit union, and we were NOT going to pay the interest rate Delacy gave us. Kevin remained in contact with us the entire time, just checking on if he was going to put the vehicle back on the lot or not. He was understanding, and tried helping with alternatives. Kevin called us back a few days in and said they could match our interest rate, with slightly different terms. These terms worked for us and we went in to do the paperwork. Kevin was awesome, he had everything handled for us ahead of time and the vehicle out waiting for us. We filled out the paperwork, then........we had to talk to the finance guy. I wish I remember this guys name from finance. As there was some research I did after the fact I would love to throw back at him and call him out on his lies. We did the finance paperwork without a hitch, then came the "extended warranty" speech. I've fallen victim to these stupid warranty schemes before, and was not about to deal with that again. He pitched an approximately $3500 extended warranty to us, covering 3 years, 36000 miles. My wife and I respectfully declined -- Then the pushy garbage came out. He asked us If we knew how much a new engine was for the jeep. (of course I didnt know off the top of my head) We told him no, he claimed a new engine was $8500. (its not, Its more like $4500 for a brand new engine, plus labor i guess) He got NASTY about us refusing the warranty. He continued with the "I just dont understand why you wouldnt want to protect your investment" nonsense. I told him the powertrain warranty still covered another 2 years and 20,000 miles or so. He told me no, that warranty is no good. THE LIE DETECTOR DETERMINED THAT WAS A LIE. It most certainly was still good. So his engine speech was just a bunch of junk trying to sell us a warranty which the dealership would get a nice chunk of change for selling. We were persistent, and refused again. His attitude continued to get meaner, to the point we would've walked out if they didn't already have her car and everything transferred over. He eventually gave up on his nonsense. Kevin came back over to give us the keys and walk us out to our new to us vehicle. He congratulated us, and made sure we were good to go. The angry finance guy really ticked me off, and made my Wife super uncomfortable. Buyer beware of the pushy angry finance guy and his shady warranty sales. Rest easy with the Sales team though, they all seemed to be great people. Kevin even followed up with us a few hours after we took delivery to make sure everything was going good. This guy was top-notch. Overall, the Experience at Delacy was great, although I think the Finance guy should be a little more truthful and less angry when he doesn't get his way. Maybe he needed a hug or something. Who knows?
