Incompetent general manager, mechanics, service

General manager lied and refused to do his job. Mechanic did sloppy job and wont even put the cover to airbag back on they fixed.

Courteous and professional...

The buying experience at the used lot was great. The salesperson, Melody, was professional and courteous. I received a reasonably good deal. I would recommend Applegate Chevrolet.

Don’t waste your time

I have owned approximately 20 cars in my lifetime and I have to say this was the absolute worst dealership I have ever encountered. I was looking at a 2015 used car and had conversations over the phone with Sales Rep Chris Marsh. He knew I was driving in from an hour away and was ready to purchase the car that day. During our last conversation I asked him if there was anything I needed to know about the car and he said no. I asked him about the cleanliness of the vehicle being offered for sale because the photos appeared dirty. He agreed and said he was going to have his guys “clean it” in the morning for me. Prior to hanging up with him I asked if there was anything else I needed to know? “Does it drive well are there any issues I should be aware of?” He said “no it’s a good little car.” Well needless to say I have never been presented a car from a private party or a dealer that was so misrepresented. In the dealership pictures there were no images of dents, dings, paint scrapes but this care had a lot of them. It also had a giant chip in the windshield which should have been fixed or disclosed. Upon looking at the interior of the car it was apparent Chris did not follow thru with his detail guys. It appeared as if several drive thru meals the previous owner had consumed were caked onto the steering wheel. The gunk was so thick you could literally chip it off in chunks. Since I had already driven an hour I decided to take it for a test drive and when we were at highway speeds the steering wheel had a noticeable wobble. It was either an unbalanced tire, wheel bearing or some other steering component. Chris was agitated with my criticism about the car and told me “you’re expecting a new car at a used car price” I informed him that wasn’t the case. I told him anyone selling a used car has an obligation to at minimum to clean it up so it’s presentable and disclose any issues with the car. You don’t try to sell a car without fixing a stone chip or cleaning it. Chris could just not understand this. His manager didn’t seem to care either. Do not waste your time trying to buy from this dealership.

Great experience buying a new corvette

Great overall experience buying my 2019 Corvette. Knowledgeable sales staff, great price, and the paper work went smoothly and quickly. I discovered after making a commitment that Applegate Chevrolet has been in business for 91 years.

Absolutely the worst service department ever!

Worst service experience ever!!!!!! Could not diagnosis the problem over a 3 day period and never called me as requested so I had to call them 5 times with each time they said they would call me back. Took the van to another dealership and they had the problem figured out and corrected in 4 hours.
