Hi Rasaan Thanks for the review. You purchased a 30 year old vehicle as-is. We’ve explained to you the cause of the engine failure several times. We gave you several options to trade in your vehicle for a different budget vehicle and you declined. We offered to help assist with the cost of the engine replacement and that wasn’t enough. So we went ahead and replaced the engine at no cost to you for customer satisfaction. We offered you a free rental while we had the vehicle diagnosed so you could get to work. After we found and explained the cause of the engine failure and agreed to pay for the repairs we gave you the option to either return the rental while it’s being worked on or going forward you would be responsible to pay for the rental at a discounted rate. You acknowledged this via email on June 14th and agreed to pay for the rental. When you picked up your vehicle yesterday you returned the rental with scratches all over the back of the truck. It was not minor. We noted the damage and took pictures. Per the rental agreement you signed you are responsible for the damage. I emailed you yesterday with an update that our body shop will try and buff out the scratches first. I told you if they can’t buff it out then we will be reaching out with next steps and an estimate. We haven’t billed you anything as of yet for the damage. You also left out the fact you were verbally hostile to one of our female employees. This is completely unacceptable and we will not tolerate this behavior. We’ve gone above and beyond to fix your vehicle.
