Everything about this experience was unprofessional. After 4 back and forth counter offers between salesperson and sales manager, they snuck in a extended month loan term to lower the payments that we believed they were negotiating in good faith. We repeatedly asked who the loan was being run thru and kept getting "we're going to get you the best possible rate" They repeatedly told me that even for customers like me with excellent credit that the rates were high. I believed them. Found out in Finance after about 3 hours that they increased the loan term, but at that point my Son and daughter were tired and didn't want to haggle any more. Found out the next morning that 3 name banks wud approve me for 1/2 the rate. Sales manager assured me that the loan we signed had not funded yet. I asked him to rerun the loan in my name only. He DID NOT! Instead ran it thru 3 more times with Daugh-I Law (with bad credit) as cosigner. My score was in upper 850-870, but the application was turned down. Sales manager dropped the ball, my credit is dinged needlessly excessive times, he was dishonest about lowering price, I found my personal credit info in trash can where anyone could have picked it up, didn't inform us that there was only 1 key for vehicle until all signed, truck was missing the tire jack when we inspected it at home, no key to unlock hitch in tow receiver, he insisted there was only 4 counter offers when there was actually 6.(found 1 of the 6 in recycle bin), We never sat in the back seats of truck when test driving (but sales reps assistant did) found the back seats and floor board covered in white dog hair, when questioning the sales manager after we got home and inspected such things, he replied in so many words that "we cannot help what condition a trade in is in when we put it on the lot".....Seriously? After buying 3 vehicles from Lithia over the years-I'm done with them. Also makes me wonder if our main Salesperson knew that the loan term was extended instead of lowering the price of their vehicle which is how it was presented to us. Anything to separate a customer from their money I guess ! I don't care what Lithia counters with on this review, it will not be honest. I worked hard all my life to have excellent credit, and their incompetence or arrogance put a dent into it needlessly. They should be ashamed--but you know they wont be. Talked to General Manager later a few days later when he returned my call to him, who although defensive was mostly polite, but only got a "I'm sorry if we did anything wrong". Great Steve....thanks alot...........Finance dude was sarcastic and a real jerk too. My salesperson was a personal acquaintance, I just don't know that I would trust her again. I'm guessing that she must have known that on one of the counter offers that the loan term was increased rather than giving us a break on the trade. I seemed to never get a straight answer from her. I repeatedly asked her for the lending name they were going thru and repeatedly requested her to inform the sales manager not to extend the loan term to lower the payment, we wanted the dealer to actually negotiate on the price......they pulled the wool over our eyes, I think my acquaintance had to have known that and didn't tell us. Sorry Kimmy.

Hi Ron, I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you faced during this process. It's clear that we fell short in providing transparent communication and service. We take these matters seriously, and I would like to address them directly with you if you're open to it. Please feel free to reach out at your convenience so we can work towards a resolution together. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Logan Bird - General Sales Manager - lbird@lithia.com
this guys are not fun to deal with.
I've had several dealing with this dealership, they have all been horrible. They are the definition of 'slimy sales people' ... my advice negotiate online via email ... and if its within $500 buy the car from someone else.

Best Diesel Techs
Michael Vincent, one of the only few diesel techs that still has a clue. He gets the job done and goes above and beyond for your car. It’ll not only work and feel better but look better when he’s done with it! He’s a hard blue collar man and I’m proud to have left my truck in his hands. The Service advisor was xxxx and didn’t know what the xxxx was going on but Michael came out , strongly voiced his opinion and gave me a laugh while he put those stool xxxxxx in their place.

Thank you for this feedback. We're very sorry to see that you didn't have the best experience at our dealership. Would you mind sending us a message so we can learn more about your visit? Best Regards, Jim Sterk General Manager
Poor Service
I bought lifetime oil changes. Huge mistake. I have spent hours getting my oil changed. Last time it was over 2 hours. Appointments should be made for us so our time waiting is reduced. The report I received said everything checked out. Within 2 weeks I had to add coolant as it was very low. Then I had to call roadside assistance to jump my battery as it had reached the end of its life. Neith⁰er one of these things should have happened right after they were supposedly inspected.

Ghosted
Tried to buy a Jeep from them, only had the standard default setting return and then an Internet Sales person asking if I was helped. I said no, just need to know when I could see the Jeep.....crickets since then.

CPO Ford 2020 Escape - Smooth transaction
I’ve been looking for cars the past two months, came across this dealership and reached out. The first time I reached out someone wasn’t able to get back to me the next couple days but I tried again and found a great customer service representative, Who put me in touch with a sales rep. After that it was pretty smooth sailing. Wish I could’ve got a great deal for my car, since I think it was at least $1000 more than it should have been (when compared to others on the lot) but they gave me a decent offer on my trade in and it worked out. So far it’s been worth the drive up from Utah to Idaho to make this purchase. Love the new car

Never responded
Reached out several times online and never received any response. COVID may be related, but all other dealerships have jumped at the opportunity to communicate on available used cars.
