Rear brake pad replacement
Gave me a quote to replace rear brake pads on my XC90 in Dec for $315. Called recently to set up apt and they said now it’s $425!!! Prices and labor went up!! My SS didn’t Got replacement at another dlr for $295 Caution here!!

Care by Volvo XC40 subscription
I did a Care by Volvo subscription online for an XC40 that was delivered to Goodwin's yesterday. The guys at the dealership had to be the most friendly group of salesmen I've ever met. Car was ready and in gleaming condition, signing paperwork was easy and efficient, and really appreciated the full walkthrough of the Volvo app and all tech features. Great experience. Also, super nice showroom and plenty of space for social distancing, which I really appreciated.
A simple phone call!
Spoke with Mae to set an appointment for two days later to view used XC90. After setting the appointment my wife decided she would be interested in a used XC60. I texted Mae this information. Mae responded she would have both vehicles ready for our appointment. When we showed up at the appointment we asked for Rich as instructed. Rich unapologetically let us know the XC90 had been sold that morning and then referred us to a salesman. The exchange was awkward as we were there for a specific vehicle we had scheduled an appointment in advance. We left very disappointed and angry with the whole experience. We will not be shopping with Godwin again and will be letting friends and family know of our experience as well as be sharing our story on social media. A simple phone call could have saved us the hassle and aggravation.

I love my new car!
This is my third Volvo. I love the brand, And, this XC40 rides better than the other two, I am still trying to figure out the technology, but with my sales person, Ralph Dangelo, helping, I know I will be a pro very soon.

We recently leased a 2020 Volvo XC40 from Rich Armstrong. We've known Rich for many years and, as a family, have bought or leased six cars from him. He's an outstanding sales representative with high integrity, outstanding customer service skills and a strong commitment to the Volvo family of cars. Ed Paione, the sales manager, also assisted with this most recent lease, and we were delighted to have his involvement and support. While the service department wasn't directly involved with this transaction, Mark Bernier, service manager, and his outstanding staff have always served us with the highest levels of skill and integrity over many years. We expect that Goodwin's Volvo will always be at the top of our list of product and service providers.

Goodwin's Volvo is fantastic.
Within the last year, I have purchased my 6th Volvo from Goodwin's since 1985!!! There is no other place I would go. I call them and tell them I am ready for a new one, tell them what I am interested in, and I arrive to several options waiting for me. The entire process takes about an hour!!! Have worked with Rich Armstrong that last several sales and he has been wonderful. Of course, the service department is superior. Marc Bernier and his colleagues are without a doubt the top service personnel in the State of Maine.
