I regularly have my oil changed here (among other standard vehicle things); they are always very nice, helpful, efficient, and able to work with you. I had a major repair done on my vehicle, they not only gave me a brand new 2017 to drive while mine was fixed, but gave me updates on cost and when my vehicle would be done. They also wash your vehicle each time you bring it in!! Simply great people, great service, and great business.

Spearfish Motors did great
I live in Bellevue Washington and purchased a car from Spearfish Motors in South Dakota. They did a great job of remote purchase and Jason was very honest in describing the state of the vehicle - which was important since I was buying sight unseen.

First less than perfect experience
I brought my truck in for an oil change and a new set of wipers. I run Mobil 1 synthetic in my truck and have had all of my oil changes done at Spearfish Motors. This time they put in conventional oil, I thought that their computers would have remembered. Also, the wipers that I had requested to be changed were inspected and deemed OK, they still streak the windshield. This is the first experience that has been less than perfect in all of my time dealing with Spearfish Motors.

Sorry "gigg." This is totally on us. Previously we forgot to enter a note on your account about the Mobil 1. It won't happen again. As far as the wipers - we are careful to not do any work that isn't necessary, and the wipers looked fine. We should have actually tested them. We appreciate your comments.
Replace transmission
My Escalade's transmission began slipping near Sturgis, SD I replaced a quart of transmission oil, continued to drive and had to stop in Spearfish for the night. Driving on in 2nd gear was not an option for me. Called Spearfish GMC in the morning and I went in to service with an anxious affect. Not long after I was told the bad news. Went to examine the findings and had no choice but to replace the transmission, for me, this was the only plausible answer. Transmission had to be delivered from Colorado and to my surprise, I was up and running in less than 2 days. Who would have ever thought. We have been in WA state for several days now and the transmission runs very well. I am at a loss for words, in expressing my gratitude. The teamwork and professionalism displayed to me was above reproach. Thank-you Dean, and your team of professionals, for the prompt and courteous service provided me.

Excellent Customer Service from Service Department
Just a quick note of appreciation for Dean Hanson of the Service Department who was able to prioritize basic but important service on my 2011 GMC Sierra pickup today. Dean was attentive to a few specific needs I expressed and accommodated them professionally and promptly. I've come to expect this level of personal service from Spearfish Motors and was not disappointed. That right there is why I drive the extra distance from Rapid City to Spearfish for vehicle service!

I bought a late model used vehicle from Spearfish Motors...
I bought a late model used vehicle from Spearfish Motors just three weeks ago. They sent a company representative to pick me up from Rapid City Airport: he drove me to the dealership. While we were taking care of the paperwork the vehicle was given a final detailing.The "detail" man (Dave) was very helpful. The paperwork lady was very pleasant and extremely well organised.The whole experience was without a doubt the best I've had at any dealership anywhere.I've put over 2,000 miles on my "new" vehicle without any problems at all.
