    On Cars.Com I spotted a truck I wanted at a buy-it-now price. I emailed, got an immediate response from the dealer. Set up an appointment for two days... away. I drive 40 miles after making sure the truck was still for sale. They then tell me there is a mix-up and the truck I came for is $5000 more. Five thousand more. I came for an exact listed truck , right model number etc, and they say it's a mix-up. Half a day wasted so they could try to upsell me.

    Ben McEvers greeted us at the door and helped us buy a used Chevy Tahoe that I found on cars.com, with no pressure from him or the others involved in the... sale. The price of the car was lower than similar vehicles at other dealers. Got a fair trade in value for my worn out truck. All in all a positive experience, would definitely do business with Apple Ford again

    I had my car in the first part of January to get my heat fixed. Got it back with the heat still not working. When I took it in and told them it wasn't... working they told me it was. So I tried for a third time and got Neal Nelson as a Service Specialist and was very happy with him. He when up and above for me to get the heat and lower control arm covered under my extended warranty that I had. It was in there for about 3 wks but he was super at communicating with me daily as to what was going on and got me a vehicle to drive while mine was getting worked on. I can not say enough about how nice Neal was to work with and how helpful he was. From now on I will wait to talk to him if I have anything else that I need done on my cars in the future. He was great to work with and just wanted you to know. Thanks

    We bought a used Buick for them. Salesman came before they opened to let us check out the car. Kind, fair, great experience. Clean car and they cleaned... it up again before we left after buying it. Fairy priced and car checked out as listed. Nice atmosphere inside everyone was kind and helpful!!! I’d buy there again a heartbeat!!

    BAD place to buy a vehicle! This is one of many complaints I will write. I have a 014 Ford focus we bought there, accessorized at Apple Ford, and serviced... there but have been in there FIVE times over the last two years for the transmission. We were lied to by the service lady, stating the transmission clutch only, was covered for 100,000 miles, no deductible. Only to find out, today, for the 1st time, it isn't. So we get a deductible to pay, every time we go in! Then talking to Brian, who stated in a recorded phone call today, "I can make any decisions I want here", and I asked "even over the service manager Kevin", he said: "well, I can". That's recorded. If tho he has this power and authority, he didn't do anything but tell me, it will never be fixed right, it's a Ford design issue, and not their problem. Furthermore, my wife, who dropped off the car every time, was never told about ANY deductible, told what they did to "fix"it, told that it wasn't covered, or told that it can never be fixed. They threatened if I didn't pay up, they would keep the car. I asked why, if he's telling me AFTER 5 times it will never be fixed there, he didn't tell us this from the BEGINNING, or after the 1st time, or 2nd, or any time thereafter! So someone was VERY dishonest and I feel cheated. But I'm not surprised as Apple Ford Shakopee falls under the rest of the dealerships as dishonest salespeople and incompetent service department. I did ask, if it will never be fixed, and we have to keep paying money, what should we do? He said, "Buy a new car". Ok, Apple Ford, so the certified one you sold us, apparently is a bad "apple" and that's your solution. We will, this summer as planned, just NOT from Apple Ford....or even a Ford at all now. Sad, we will never go back, and the company that I own, will suggest all customers to have their cars taken somewhere else. Sorry, but I can't consciously let others get destroyed by dishonest people at Apple Ford. BBB, state of MN, Ford corporate, ripoff report, and many other complaints will be written. I will get answers as to why one guy said he has authority over managers, and why we were lied to about this "certified" car and extended warranty, and the Ford clutch warranty...then told...."it will never be fixed right" by TWO people there.

    Not impressed with the vehicle we purchased at all. The customer service at first was great, then as things went on while we were having troubles with... our new purchase got worse, and later on basically non existent, as they knew they did not need to, nor could please us anymore with all the troubles we have had with our vehicle. We purchased a 2010 Mazda CX9 with a little over 100K miles on it, and were shown a pre inspection report stating nothing wrong with the vehicle at all. Well come to find out that it needed a 3K rear differential fix, that the dealership eventually fixed themselves after a very exhausting fight. Then as I was driving the vehicle away from the dealership noticed a noise coming from the vehicle. Turns out 2 bad wheel bearings, still under their 30 day warranty. No problem right I have their Easycare insurance, oh well they will cover $204 of the $260 in parts and i get stuck with the remainder of the total $800 bill, what joke, I called to cancel the warranty as it didn't cover the initial rear differential that was faulty when it was sold to me, and now bare minimum of this as well, and I was told that I would be contacted by someone about cancelling the warranty. No sorry, no apology for selling me a vehicle that was worth far less than what we purchased it for, and an explanation of well we went down this road together. hah, together like together would be trying to find a way to help their customer out who is out another $800 in repairs immediately after purchasing from this great business. Customer service was great until there were issues then just handled like they were putting out a fire, but not doing anything about the damage caused by the flames. I will not mention names as that is not fair to them, as the initial salesman did his best to accommodate us at the beginning of the sale, but now i realize the reason they were so accommodating was that they wanted to get rid of this vehicle for as much as they could and hope that things didnt go bad until far after they were responsible anymore. My bad for going to a dealership that has a 4.7 google rating as that means nothing to me when i got shafted out of an extra $800 than the sales price. I was explained by the Used Car Manager that they have a great reputation and did i read any of their reviews? I did and apparently I am just unlucky i guess for deciding to buy a car from a very highly rated dealership as when they are highly rated they dont need to continue to make their unhappy customers happy bc they have plenty of others to continue to do business with. There was one nice thing about the whole experience, they had good coffee while waiting :) Oh yeah if you have read this far then i also had to drive down to their repair shop 2 times more than i needed to when they fixed the rear differential, as the first time they did not have my loaner car available as the info was not transferred correctly from sales manager to repair shop(first extra 126 mile round trip wasted) and then i accidentally left my garage door opener in the loaner, and when i asked if they could just drop it in the mail for me so i didnt need to drive another 126 miles round trip to pick it up, i was told that it was too big to mail? are you kidding me, i realized i made the mistake of choosing this dealership to work with, and left my opener in the vehicle, but seriously you cant afford to spend $5 in postage to mail an oversized envelope? wow, thanks Used Care Manager **** *****, great customer service. I am surprised that with that level of customer service that you continue to get such great reviews. I am sure that your team will post some ridiculous reply to this review saying thanks for the positive comments, and not even read as that is what it appears they have done with any other negative review i saw. I cant wait to find out what next is going to go wrong with this vehicle, but Apple Autos sure doesnt care as they already cashed my check and are o

    I am a highly motivated car buyer and found two cars on the Apple Ford website I was interested in, so I filled out their 'confirm availability' form online.... I never heard anything back from them. When I followed up with them, they attributed this to an IT glitch. After waiting a few days, I decided to give them a second chance and called their dealership on the phone directly to verify that the two cars I was interested in were indeed available and to arrange a test drive that day. I was assured by the man who answered the phone that not only were they both available, but that they both would be waiting for me upfront when I came in for a test drive that afternoon. After driving all the way from Minneapolis, I went to the front desk and they handed me off to a salesperson who clearly was not given any information at all that I had arranged to test drive two specific cars. When he finally located that information in the system, he told me that neither car was available for a test drive, despite being told they'd be ready for me. One was checked out to someone else, and the other wasn't even on the property. It was in storage at some other location of theirs. Needless to say, I wasn't pleased. I pre-arranged by phone to test drive these two cars, and when I came, they weren't available like I was told they would be. I walked out of the dealership angry for having wasted my time. This would have been a 1-star review had it not been for the pleasant and helpful interactions via phone and email I had with one of their employees name Faith (the only bright spot). Apple Ford clearly has some basic system and process problems that one oughtn't encounter in any mature organization. Too bad for them, because I was fully ready to buy one of these two cars on the spot that day. Whoever the salesperson was would have made a quick, easy, no-fuss sale. And now, I can't see myself ever considering their dealership again.

    We shopped around at other dealerships with no success. One phone call to Bruce H. at Apple and he selected and put us in the right car at a great price!... He was also very fair on our Nissan trade in. After we selected an Edge, Marcus spent 40 minutes showing us all the features of the vehicle. Never had service like this before. What a great buying experience. If you are in the market for a vehicle, give Apple Ford a shot. Well worth the trip.
