Marquardt motors service center

The service center at this dealership will lie to you and do whatever they can do to charge or bill a customer even when they have a bumper to bumper extended warranty. Let alone after a repair was made to my vehicle there was no road test done to my vehicle and every warning light was on the dash upon them giving me my keys back. They did not address the main issue I brought my vehicle back to them after being ripped off and lied to the 1st time. Marquardt service seems to be a bunch of crooks overcharging and lying to honest customers.

Great Camaro from Markquardt

Purchased a used 2019 Camaro with a price drop of$5000 for $32000 from Stephanie and it's a beautiful car that sure attracts attention. V-6 engine and auto transmission and big tires really deliver the performance. Great car with real low mileage. Thanks again.

Very xxxx poor place to buy a vehicle sold a vehi

Drove over a hour in a blizzard to look and deal on a Ford superduty did all the wheeling and dealing had a purchase agreement to take to my bank 4 days later and on my way to the bank Eva calls me and tells me they sold the truck to somebody else not even a phone call xxx not very professional every chance I have I tell people what kind of a place it is, I do not recommend this place to anyone

Opportunities for Improvement

Recently Markquart updated how they service vehicles. In short, I am not satisfied. When you schedule an appointment, online or otherwise, you are ONLY scheduling with the customer service rep, not with the actual shop to get your car in for diagnosis/repairs/service. My appointment was at 8:45am on Wednesday, as this was the soonest available appointment they had when I was scheduling online on Sunday. My car was dropped off on Tuesday. When I called for an update on Thursday morning (a day after my appointment) there were 15 cars ahead of me in line to go into the shop. When I talked with my CSR in the afternoon there were 12 cars ahead of me. My car did not even get into the shop until FRIDAY! Two days after my "appointment". Markquart (GM) no longer has a loaner program. They only have a rental program and it costs $40 a day to rent a vehicle. Now, if I had picked up a rental vehicle on Monday, I would have spent an extra $200 on top of any necessary repairs. Thankfully, I was able to borrow a vehicle from a family member which saved me $200 and allowed me to not be without a vehicle for the week. I do not know if Marquart was short technicians and that is what caused this situation to happen but I do hope they look into this. There has to be a better way to service vehicles efficiently.

Still not fixed !!!

Had an appointment for 9am on Wed and was told when I got there that they MIGHT get to look at it by the end of the week, and no..Markquart doesn't let you have a loaner while you wait for their backed up service dept unless you pay $40/day!!!! I was told, "You make the appointment with the consultant, not the actual service tech." Umm. NO! I did not make a 9am Wed appointment so I could wait until next week to get my vehicle back. I called 2pm on Thur and Caleb told me he would call as soon as he knew more and I told him I needed the vehicle for a Fri trip. I called at 4:40, was told Caleb was with a customer. I left a voicemail. NO call back. After 5pm, went up to get the vehicle and Caleb had LEFT without returning my call. Want to know why I go to New Richmond or the Twin Cities to buy vehicles? This terrible service goes a LONG way to explaining that!

New SUV Purchase

Bryan in sales was very professional and courteous. The process was smooth even with the COVID restrictions. Samantha in support was fantastic. I like having someone I can contact if I need service or any other needs.

Horrible

Ok if negative 5 stars was an option thats what markquart service station would get my truck broke down and I had it brought to Markquart the estimate started at 300 witch is fine but then the price went up to 500 then they said they needed another 700 to further the estimate so with all the price increases I told them I decided to bring it to a different shop so Kelly muller told me she was going to have the tech put my truck back together and call me when it was ready to be towed to a different shop when I got to markquart to settle the bill the bill was almost a hundred dollars more than we agreed on witch kinda bothered me but whatever the bill was paid then I go out to the truck and they never put it back together my air box is removed and my dash is in pieces and they refuse to put it back together so in the end they charged me almost 600 and tore my truck apart and never put it back together

Scheduled maintenance

Maintenance is terrible and found out only half of what I requested was done with, they do not look out for you or your vehicle but they sure charge a fortune!
