Excellent service

John Palmer answered all of my questions and followed up with additional information promptly when I first called the dealership from Fairbanks regarding a used vehicle I had found online through AutoTrader on their lot. He was extremely helpful and upfront about the fact that I would not be able to test drive the vehicle I was interested in as the driver's seat belt needed to be replaced (torn from prior owner's carelessness) and they were waiting on the part. He said if I was still interested, I could ride along while he drove the vehicle so I could listen to the engine and transmission. I drove down from Fairbanks the next day (Saturday) and was able to test drive a similar model so knew I would be comfortable with the vehicle after looking at it and hearing it run and drive - he let me take my time and be sure I was comfortable with the decisions. He and Cody Coker made sure the paperwork was painless. John then followed through the following Tuesday to let me know the replacement part had come in and was being installed. He also picked me up at the airport and delivered my "new" vehicle to me and made sure my phone was connected/synced to the nav/entertainment center before sending me on my way. I would highly recommend him as my go-to-salesperson!

Stay away from all things Lithia

It has taken some real effort to decide what to say about this dealership. My past dealings with this group have been good. I did not purchase a vehicle then, just had service done. I purchased a near new 2018 2500 RAM. They were so intent on making the sale b4 month end they agreed to several criteria. They gave me a week to try and sell my old truck after we had come to an agreement on price and potential trade value. My trade was at a shop being repaired after the Lithia service group in Wasilla could not fix it and did additional damage (3 yrs). I dealt with Chuck Coleman as the sales person. The agreement was set for a specific amount for my trade and that several other items would be done to the new truck, detailing the paint was agreed to but never happened. I should add that I am disabled. I am currently taking medications that can lead to confusion on my part. I made this clear when I was there and the cane I walk with should have added to that observation. It was getting late, I was in pain, I wanted to leave and asked if the deal Chuck presented was good for 24 hrs. He ran back to the office and returned with an affirmative answer. The finance manager (?) then provided me with 2 contracts to sign, 1 for no trade in and the other with. By this time I am not thinking clearly due to the pain I am in. I did not or could not resolve the numbers in my mind on the contract. I made the decision to sign the paperwork on trust. I did not take delivery of the truck that night. It was not until Jan 31 did I take delivery. It was after that I discovered the discrepancy in the trade allowance and after I washed the truck is when I noticed the paint detailing had not been completed (scratches were to be polished out). The amount of money we are talking about is small, $500.00 in the trade and what ever the cost to detail. My issue is the fact that I felt like I could trust them and found out I can't. There were some good points to my dealings as well, I felt Ansel Sandone did a good job but whether he was given the real story is unknown to me, I doubt it. This is not my first disappointing experience with a Lithia dealership. The RAM dealer in Wasilla Alaska has a HORRIBLE service department. I almost refused to purchase a RAM again because of that experience but I thought I would be okay with this dealer. I am sorry to say that after being a loyal customer to the RAM brand for over 35 yrs I will not purchase another Dodge/RAM/Chrysler product again. I have stewed on this review for a couple of months and decided it needed to be shared. I can only hope that some good can be pulled from this review. I have, in the past heard others besmirch the Lithia brand but decided to see how they did. I am sorry to say the Lithia reputation did not get any better with this sale. Keith Dunn Big Lake, Alaska

The gentlemen we worked with, made this buying experience a breeze! They listened to what we wanted and that is a gamechanger in the car business! We drove away with a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and are beyond proud of it!

Jeep Purchase

After shopping various vehicles, we returned to Lithia to purchase the first car we drove. This is the second vehicle we have bought here so we knew their product and reputation. Even though it took a while to come to an agreement, everyone was friendly and helpful.

Wes beat my expectations on my trade in and cost of a new truck! The other dealership up north wanted the same price on a USED older truck. He took care of me when I had a flat tire too and got me a sweet rental while they fixed my flat. I recommend you pick Wes if you go shopping here. He’ll go above and beyond to take care of ya and get you a sweet deal.
