I went to test drive a Honda element that had sitting on
I went to test drive a Honda element that had sitting on the lot since July 2024. It was now Jan of 2025 and I noticed they tried to sell the car for 16k and currently we’re selling it for 14k. I asked the salesman (Sal) if we could negotiate to around 11-12k on it and he was happy to accommodate me. When the meeting started he ran the price to his sales manager and he told Sal no to the price negotiations and he was raising the price to 15k out the door. Obviously we were not going to pay that much for a 1 st gen Honda element. We quietly walked away with our hands I. The air wondering what’s going on here with the leadership here. I understand sales are slow but let your salesman make some decisions on there own before greed kicks in.

Hello Mr. Orlando, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. I am very sorry for your unhappiness with our dealership. "No Haggle" pricing is always controversial but we do this to make car buying easy for our clients..to avoid all of the nonsense car dealers traditionally engage in. We do reduce prices after we have had them for awhile but sometimes we also raise them according to the market. I am also sorry if you were led to believe our salespeople can make decisions on pricing. We love our salespeople but that would create mass confusion on our sales floor. We did not raise the price when you were here, we simply added what ever sales tax that is required by the state. I hope you will give us another chance. We really do care about every client and strive to do our best...Patty Slack.
David in service for new sales was very helpful today in
David in service for new sales was very helpful today in my wife’s 2023 Outlander. Had one customer show up 4 hours early for her car appt. She was a pistol nothing but negative everything. To make a long story short is that she brought in a full bag the size of a Walmart bag full of trash to throw away. Apparently she said the waiting room trash can was full so she laid the bag on top of trash cans. One of the Slack sisters thought that someone left there medicine bag etc. the next thing I know David was asked to empty the trash. He is a busy guy. Someone could have asked one of the lot attendants etc. told the lady to push into trash can because they were not full.

Good Morning Mr. Breen, Thank you for taking the time to give us such a good review! Yes, I agree about David and our team. They all pitch in and do whatever it takes for our clients. David Howell could have asked someone else to empty the trash but did it himself because that's the kind of guy he is. The Japanese have a word for this, Kaizen. It has been their success. You will find people all over our dealership like this. Sorry to brag but I am so proud of our team and all of their hard work and helpfulness. Thank you for being our loyal client...Patty Slack.

I recently purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander Limited
I recently purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander Limited from Shirlie Slack Mitsubishi in Fredricksburg. The salesman that I had my initial contact with was Jonathan Sauceda. I live an hour plus from the dealership, so I was unable to just pop on in to look at the SUV. Jonathan was VERY accommodating to my request for additional close up photos as the online pics were not clear. Within minutes I had the pictures along with 2 videos of the vehicle inside and out. After some research I emailed and then spoke with Mr Faircloth, (I had no trade so that was not an issue) and we hammered out the deal. Mr Faircloth was very genuine and forthcoming. I felt everyone I dealt with was honest and straightforward. I went up the next day to pick up the Highlander and everything wet smoothly. I was provided with EXCELLENT customer service from the first step to completion of the purchase and would recommend them to anyone shopping for a used or new car. Thank you!

Good Morning Mr. Kameros, Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a kind and detailed review! Greatly appreciated! If you should need anything else please let us know. Enjoy your new car!...Patty Slack.
OK, so I'm old school, and when I buy a car I expect to
OK, so I'm old school, and when I buy a car I expect to have to (or get to) haggle. It's just more motivating to actually pull the trigger on a car if you feel like you got a deal. Many of Shirlie Slack's cars seem overpriced. Knowing they don't haggle means that I'm usually going to pass on their cars. But, not all cars are overpriced. I found one that was fairly priced. I'd have felt better to get the price down a bit, but it was fair and my wife really liked the vehicle. The dealer fee tacked on above is always hard to stomach. Being old school, that was all factored into the price in the old days. Shirlie Slack's is one of the lower ones out there, which is good, but obviously not ideal (else I'd not bring it up). Our sales guy Sal Sauceda was spectacular. Very accommodating and no pressure. That's the beauty of the no-haggle approach, he can just be friendly/helpful and let the cars and their accompanying price sell the car. He was super helpful in getting us a 2nd key. He remembered us from a week earlier looking at a different car. He even remembered the car we were looking at. He totally recognized us every time we came in and remembered things that we told him. That's really odd, other Sales people we talked to didn't remember things in the hour that we were there looking at a car. So yeah, Sal is a really good guy and my wife and I actually felt really good about this whole deal because of Sal. If you set an appt through their website, you'll deal with a bot. I indicated that I was working with Sal (after our first meeting) and it told me to come in and talk to Phillip Beardsley, the sales manager. I interacted with the bot thinking I was dealing with Phillip, saying I was running late. Bot said it would have the car pulled up for me, it did not. I realized that Phillip had nothing to do with the conversation when I got there and he was oblivious. It was all bot driven, so be aware of that. The bot is very polite, lol, but did not do what it said it was going to do. We dealt with Phillip Beardley as well when completing the transaction and he too was very genuine, very good to work with. Never once did we feel like we were getting taken, we felt like we could trust these guys. In the end, if you can find a fairly priced car on their lot, it is refreshing to deal with this dealership. They put half a tank of gas in for us and cleaned the car up superbly upon delivery. I can't really say enough good things about this place, and I only ever write reviews if I am very happy or very unhappy. This was a happy one. All of this said, they have a few other cars on the lot that are nice (and I have a large family and at least one son actively looking for a vehicle) but extremely overpriced. You just need to do your homework and make sure you know the market for the car that you are looking at.

Incredible customer service. Car was even better than expected and whole process was seamless. Very accommodating about letting me get it inspected and no surprises or upselling along the way.

I live in the Raleigh NC market which is dominated by (2)
I live in the Raleigh NC market which is dominated by (2) Mega Dealership, Leith and Hendrick....Well guess what, after shopping around for several days for a Nice Used Chevy Tahoe, with Low Miles at a Good Price, I found out about Shirley Slack Mitsubishi...Called them up on the phone and discussed said vehicle...Sent in Picture's of my Trade In and Discussed Price...Finalized the deal over the phone for the purchase...Went by my Credit Union and got financing and made the 225 Mile Ride to the Dealership...When I got there the first thing I saw was the Perfectly Detailed Tahoe, sitting out front, just asking for me to buy it...Went in the Dealership, met my Salesperson and started the process...Took the Tahoe for a drive and when I got back....Let the Games Begin...First of all I was Greeted by the Owner who was such a Nice Lady...Secondly, they had already test drove my trade in, and the best thing was while I was talking to the owner the salesperson was finishing up my paperwork to present to Financing...I went over ready to Start Haggling about the Final Price, because I know the Dealerships Switch and Bait Tactics, but to my surprise, Every # that we discussed did not change...I am 67 years old and have bought Many Vehicles from Dealerships and by far this was the LESS STRESSFUL VEHICLE PURCHASE, THAT I HAVE EVER HAD...As stated, I had my financing which I through my credit union, who gave me a great deal, But they found me a Lower Interest Rate and Matched the Gap Insurance Price...All in all it was worth the Total Roundtrip of a 7 Hour Drive...We will be next purchasing a vehicle for my wife and Shirley Slack Mitsubishi will be the first place that i will be calling...Stan Black Raleigh NC...
