Bought a 2014 SRX that was supposed to be safety...
Bought a 2014 SRX that was supposed to be safety inspected and good to go. Well within 28 hours of buying it the Traction Control system failed in the rain causing driving control issues for my disabled mother that the car was bought for. Figured that with my grandfather being an old friend of Terry that it would be a good place to go, guess the quality has got down the toilet.

This vehicle was safety inspected and issues of wear were fixed, this included the breaks and exhaust. The issue as described by the customer is “traction control” and unless the light for the traction control system comes on, there is no reason to suspect an issue or test for any problem relating to the TCS. It is no different than a brake light bulb, you do not know there is a problem until it does not work. The salesman called the customer to bring it back to fix the problem and not charge for the fix. The customer did buy the vehicle “As-Is” and declined the offered warranties but because of the short time owning the vehicle we knew it was only right to offer to fix the problem. The customer however decided to take it to a different dealership. Our warranty that we give to all vehicles sold to customers who do not purchase an extended warranty is “15% off parts and labor for 30 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.” It is shown in the paperwork that this is to vehicles that have the work done at the dealership it was purchased. As stated before, we offered to fix the vehicle at no charge and the customer declined.
Do not buy from Salesman Dan Clark
Last week Dan Clark took a deposit from me for a used vehicle. After ignoring me afterwards I contacted a manager yesterday and was informed that he sold the car to someone else even though he took a deposit from me for the car. Now he refused to return my deposit yesterday. I am going to file a police report for theft.

I purchased a second used car from Sundance, after I...
I purchased a second used car from Sundance, after I drove the first one for 11 years. Both times my husband and I looked several other places first. We live quite a distance away, but the fact they have Sunday hours convinced us to make the drive both times. This time we were considering buying a new car, so we started looking at closer dealerships. Because of COVID, I felt shunned everywhere else we went, because I am not able to wear a mask. It was difficult to even consider giving so much money to anyone who would not even allow me in their air conditioned building to catch my breath or to talk about pricing and options! Repeatedly, I was expected to wait on hot asphalt, struggling to breathe in high heat and humidity or be forced to retreat to my car. I wasn’t finding what I wanted anyway, not offered much for my trade-in and fed up with the whole process. Buying a new or newer car should be fun and exciting; it was neither. Then we remembered Sundance! They came up with exactly what we wanted after our long search the last time, so I went online to look at their inventory. I could not believe how quickly I found more than one car I would consider, at fair prices! My husband and I quickly agreed on one and were thrilled it was actually still available! Our original salesman was no longer there, so Brent Miller helped us. I put down money over the phone to hold it until our schedule would allow us to drive out there for a test ride. I was so grateful Sundance had made accommodations to allow customers to sit at a desk inside! It was by far our most pleasant experience with any dealership! Every step of the way, Brent has been quick to return calls and address our concerns. Sundance has made me feel welcomed and appreciated. They continue to go out of their way to make things convenient, too, as we finalize some of the last details; I signed my title wrong (oops) and there’s a a little damage on one door they still have to fix for me as part of the deal. So far we’re very pleased!

Last week Dan Clark took a deposit from me for a used vehicle. After just ignoring me afterwords I contacted a manager yesterday and I was informed that he sold the vehicle to someone else. He won’t even return my deposit now so I am going to file a police report for theft. Do not do any business with Dan Clark, choose another salesman.
