Zero integrity

May 2022 I purchased a vehicle here and I was talked into buying a warranty for $3500 at the time of purchase. Immediately after taking delivery I noticed there was an alignment issue when driving at highway speeds. This made me question that the car had been gone over thoroughly as the salesperson stated. My next visit was for service on a loose sway bar/ noise when cornering. The service manager informs me that the warranty claim was denied for the amount of $800. I started asking question about the amount he was now trying to charge me and what exactly was getting replaced. He backpedaled and lowered the amount for what turned out to be replacing the $100 end links. No wonder the warranty claim was denied. The following visit/ last visit. I bring the car in for check engine light. The car needed a drivers side oil control valve. The service manager tells me the warranty claim was denied for $1200 repair. He then informs me the dealership ended business with this warranty company and that they are now not covering claims as a result. He says I should cancel my warranty with them and try to get a refund. For good reason I look into the repair to get my car back on the road and can't understand how a $300 part direct from Subaru that has 4 bolts fastened onto the bottom of the car will cost $1200. I take the car home and purchased the part from Subaru and spent 20 minutes fixing issue completely. They sold me on a warranty and then abused the warranty company by over estimating repair costs which in turn left me with denied claims. I got 0 value out of the $3500 warranty they sold me on and I have now spent several months trying to get an unknown amount back as a refund. Finally just over a month ago I finally found out what that amount will be a measly $1,700 in which I’m still waiting for. If I had read a review like this to go off of I would have never stepped a foot in their door. Take it as you will… my take is they have zero integrity

Horrible service experience! Stay far away !

They never gave me a diagnostic report they just told me the Transmission fluid change didnt work and I needed to get a new transmission pan and a Mechatronic sleeve which costed $1300. This did not fix the problem they didnt try to figure out what my issue was. Just in it for a robbery! Never even gave me the diagnostic results that made them consider such a replacement! Just a horrible place trust me or find out at your own expense $$$!

Brent was very attentive to my inquiries with rapid and helpful responses. He even answered an e-mail on a Sunday. Brent also offered to have the vehicle driven to WI and completing the deal here, which would have saved me about 7 hours of driving round trip. When all was said and done I just couldn't make things work within my budget, but would definitely deal with German Concepts again if things were to change for me and they had another vehicle I liked..

Won't be back

Sales did alright, but the service department literally and intentionally did a hack job when I brought it back in for a repair. The "tech" that molested my vehicle should be fired. Firewall insulation hacked up. Refilled my coolant with just water. Multiple bolts missing and later found in the sub-frame. Battery terminals not tightened. Used RTV instead of replacing seals. They did re-order all the parts I found missing, but... I literally ended up redoing the entire repair myself. Also... the "owner" asked to test drive my vehicle prior to picking it up. I okayed it. He ended up driving all weekend as his personal vehicle and according to my app made some odd rendezvous late at night. WTH? Obviously, I won't be back.

Absolutely WORST experience my husband and I have ever...

Absolutely WORST experience my husband and I have ever had. they only reason there is one star is because i cant post with 0 stars. Paul is a terrible owner and should learn some customer skills. They come up with nothing but excuses about being short staffed, and lie about things they have done. Leave body damage on your vehicle, always trying to get money, and half the time dont even know what they are doing, cant count how many times they said they cant figure it out and dont know the problem. When we brought our x5 BMW in to this place about 4 months back for an overheating issue and a coolant leak. They kept the vehicle for about a month said they werent sure where the leak was coming from but wanted to replace some hoses and the thermostats, costing us roughly 2,200. We arent broke but we are not rich either and 2,200$ is alot of money. So after they replace these hoses and thermostats they call and tell us its driving good and to pick it up. Not even a week later its over heating again, and im frustrated because we just spent all this money for it to not be fixed. so we call and talk to the head service guy Kevin he says thats weird he doesnt understand and to bring it right back for them to look at, at no cost because I mean we did just pay over 2 grand. Kevin says they dont recall us ever saying it over heats but thats the original reason we wanted to take it to a shop. so they have it about 3 weeks tells us they ran all these test 15 times for 12 hours and still werent sure what was going on. then all of a sudden they THINK its the cap so they call us want us to pay for it so im like fine whatever so we pay another 25$ for this cap. get the car back, and a week later its over heating and leaking out of the cap AGAIN. at this point im pissed and really frustrated. So I call and talk to Paul this time not john (John was way more helpful), Paul the owner pretty much seems like he does not want to deal and offers a loaner car and they will immediately take the car, says they are really understaffed and behind but MY VEHICLE will be front of the line, so we take it up there for the THIRD time and rodney the other service guy tells us they wont touch my vehicle without insurance but yet this is the third time we have been here and all of a sudden we need insurance that doesnt even cover them if they xxxx something up. So we stood in the parking lot and got insurance so they would fix whatever the xxxx they did. Later that day rodney calls and says they wont get to our vehicle for a few weeks which is ridiculous since the owner said it was top of the list and gave a whole lecture on how they care and understand that their customers need their cars and blah blah blah. Few days later kevin calls and says they want to take apart the motor and do the gasket free of cost. Then we dont hear from them for almost 2 weeks, I go by there and my vehicle is still sitting in the same spot and the inside is soaked because our seal isnt good but we told them that in the first place. The following monday I call to speak to the owner and instead got kevin the service guy who said they where taking it in that day to look at. So I then call to talk to the owner and ask about why the insurance was not asked for in the first place you know 4 months ago when we first brought it in, Paul took absolutely NO ownership for that, we were refused service over that insurance problem but had it been asked for in the first place then there would have never been a conversation about it. Paul made excuse after excuse and claiming that they just assumed. He then told me I can pick my car up or they can fix it, absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received he was incredibly rude. they next day we get a call from kevin saying they THINK its the radiator so they want to replace it for like 850$. So I went and got my vehicle and will be taking it elsewhere. I REFUSE to give them anymore of our hard earned money. I will make sure its well known this place is a money pit. absolutely horrible experience.

Great Experience

What a great experience! From being very responsive to providing a prompt and efficient experience on site, the team was professional and very helpful. They had a helpful and accurate website and good number of high quality vehicles that were reasonably priced. Check them out!

Go to German Concepts!

The process was quick and very easy to understand. They were awesome enough to restart halfway through with a different lender with much better rates. The car was detailed very nicely, and they adjusted the headlights for free after a couple days of using the car for a 2 day trip. Nate was very helpful and on the ball. We got a good rate, a good price, good service and warranty package, and best of all an AWESOME CAR! Will continue to do business with them in the future.

terrible service and rectification after sale

Bought a range rover sport a few years ago, no problem. saw a land rover on the lot, test drove, fine. Salesman was clueless and had to keep calling (John) to make a deal. Knew nothing about the car. My mistake, bought it as is. Diving it a week later even after they had done the presales check and noticed an antifreeze smell. Took it in and they found a leak that would cost about $1200 to fix but would cut it to about $800. Took it to my foreign mechanic and got it repaired for just under $500. I told John when at german concepts when they looked at the leak that I had bought 2 cars from them and to not make it my last. Well guess what THEY DID.
