I had recommended maintenance done on my truck.

I had recommended maintenance done on my truck. Had brake pads and rotors replaced also. I've never had issues with Shaheen's service department - they've always treated me with respect until this time. It took them 2 full days and a weekend to get it all done. I was expecting to get my truck back in the afternoon of the day of service - that's why I made the appointment and dropped the truck off the night before. I hadn't planned on them keeping it over the weekend and finishing it up on Monday late afternoon. I needed the truck to get to work on Monday, but that didn't happen and I had to take my husband's truck. Once they finished with my truck, I had to take time off work, go pick up my husband at home in Eaton Rapids, and drive back to Lansing. The one thing I have bad to say is that everything wasn't customer friendly. You don't talk with any one via phone now, it's done via texting now, they don't accept payment over the phone, and I only talked 3 minutes with Cheddar when he checked my truck in and most of that time was him sending text messages to me to accept the work report. No other phone calls, everything was via text. I didn't care for it. They texted for cost and I wouldn't see it because I'm working during .the day and not waiting by my cell phone for a text to come from the service department. I've never experienced this kind of customer service, if you call it that. Very unfriendly and impersonal. When I dropped the truck off, there was several people standing around, but no one greeted me or the other 2 people that were ahead of me. I went and stood by a service representative's desk and he finally looked away from his computer screen and said someone will be with you in a minute - 5 minutes later I finally got to pull my truck in and talk with Cheddar. I found this whole experience a nightmare.

mddchevy, Firstly, thank you for the 5 star review regarding the maintenance on your truck. We take pride in who we hire and how well-trained our Technicians are. The texting is a new piece of software called TechWall that helps expedite us evaluating your repairs, texting you the repair estimate and asking for your approval to move forward. This is not meant to be impersonal in any way, but we've gotten alot of positive feedback on the efficiency of this new process. We apologize if it felt like a lack of customer service. Regarding waiting to pull your truck in, your review will be emailed to our Service Manager and service management team to review so we can do a better job of acknowledging each guest and giving you direction for next steps when you enter our Certified Service drive.

Dave Hanna and the staff at Shaheen were very patient with us as we worked through some tough decisions about what to buy. The buying experience could not have been easier. This is the second car we've purchased there and we will be doing it again when the time comes to replace one in the future.

Lenny Ezzo is A Super Salesman!!!

Lenny Ezzo is simply amazing. He sold me my last car and I came back to purchase another one from him. He made the process so smooth and simple, he came to me so I could see the car and for the closing. It was convenient for me as he accommodated my schedule as I work very odd hours. I appreciate him so much and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a new vehicle. If I could give him a 100 stars I would!!!
