We purchased a car for our daughter in February 2025.

We purchased a car for our daughter in February 2025. After searching for a low mileage car, we found a great match at Zeigler. Our salesman, Carlos was easy to work with, and it was going well until the sales manager was brought out during price negotiations. We very clearly stated that we did not want any of the options offered, including LoJack. On the window sticker, it was labeled as an option, not a mandatory purchase. We were told it would be removed and the price would not be included in the purchase price. Paperwork was signed with the business manager (only one digital signature was captured, declining the extended warranty and paint protection; this detail is important and will come up again soon). We took delivery and left with the car. That evening, my husband had a nagging feeling about the LoJack device, so he googled how to locate and remove the device in the make and model we purchased, and was very disappointed to find the “hard to remove” device still plugged in to a port under the dashboard on the drivers side. It took him all of 30 seconds to remove. They told us they would remove it, and did not. I then reviewed the copy of our signed paperwork and discovered that there was a document that I did not sign, accepting the LoJack fee and agreeing to the three year subscription. Remember that digitally captured signature? The exact same digital signature was copied onto the LoJack paperwork, without my permission. I contacted the manager of the dealership on the next business day, and when I was able to speak to him, he basically called me a liar and told me that there was a signed and timestamped document with my signature and that there was no way my signature could be forged. We reported the dealership to the Federal Trade Commission. I would NOT recommend this shady company, because clearly they only care about the kickbacks they get from pressuring customers into accepting LoJack. If you do purchase from them, and do not want LoJack, google how to remove it before you leave, and look through your paperwork before leaving the business manager’s office, especially if it was agreed upon to remove LoJack from the equation. They cannot legally force the purchase.

Since we bought the vehicle, it was slow to restart, after it sat for a little while. The issue took a little while to figure out. Come to find out the vehicle had recall work done just before we purchased it. A different Honda Dealership discovered that the issue we were having was without a doubt caused by the recall work performed by Zeigler Honda of Kalamazoo, resulting from Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Quality of Work, and a total Lack of Attention to Detail. When the other Honda Dealership tried to contact the Service Director at Zeigler Honda of Kalamazoo, he won't answer his phone, and won't return a call after numerous voicemails were left. This resulted in me having to pay for the repair of Zeigler's botched recall work. Avoid this place, if at all possible. Their service department lacks professionalism, common courtesy, and basic communication skills. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if you'd let me give them less.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hollywood. He was very professional and made us feel like he valued us as a customer. I never thought that car shopping could be so fun. I love my new car and I have told all my friends to go see him if you want a good deal on a car!

I recently bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Justin

I recently bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Justin with the help of Cecil. This would be my third Jeep I have owned. I was very specific in what I wanted and I had been searching for 6 weeks. 2015 or newer, sunroof and low mileage. I thought I had done a thorough visual inspection, test drive and even looked under hood to to see if a Mopar battery was there. Pulling of the lot heading back to Kalamazoo I noticed a crack in the windshield right where you would put the oil change sticker. I called Justin when I got home and informed him of this. He said "no problem bring the jeep in tomorrow." It was clear to Justin that the crack had been repaired. Next step they were to replace windshield. After a week and multiple excuses they had made good on this. I am so completely disappointed to realize that ZIEGLER replaced my windshield with an Aftermarket. My "easter egg" is NOW gone. I immediately phoned the dealership and not one of the people at this particular Jeep dealership had any clue of this TRADEMARK on every Jeep. Kevin Gaylord who is the General Manager of several Harold Ziegler's and was a friend of my brothers and even met my parents has suggested that there is nothing he can do. Kevin implied I had a big mouth and hung up. $1,200 for an original windshield. The dealership could write this off.

Bill Rackley was a big help.

Bill Rackley was a big help. He showed me two vehicles that fit the criteria I asked for. With insurance money and loan repayments it was a bumpy ride but Bill helps us through it all!

One word.

One word....LoJack. Deceptive business practice is advising one price and then requiring that you buy an expensive mandatory add-on. Went to Ziegler to test drive a car we were interested in buying. Price seemed okay, car seemed okay. Was interested in moving forward. Then the price estimate. There was an extra $699 charge for a LoJack. They claimed it was already installed and non removable. This has 0 value to us. It was particularly irritating because we told the salesman up front we had already walked away from another car dealership because of a mandatory LoJack. Walked away on general principle.

Very friendly staff (Adam) who helped me get into a vehicle the same day! They worked through some numbers to make my vehicle affordable for me since my credit score was a little rough and I didn't have a down-payment. I appreciate them very much. This is my 2nd vehicle purchased through them as well.
