When sorry wasn’t enough

When sorry isn’t enough. Let me start off bought a Mazda cx3 from this dealership back in July, with the impression it was being sold with a arm rest/center console I was promised it was gonna be in when I went to pick up my car, goes to pick up car and asks about it and was told it was on order just hasn’t came in yet, waits a few weeks and never got a call so finally I call to see where my part is and the part department said there was never any parts like that ordered for my car, so Toby lied, then they come to tell me sorry there’s no more parts made for your vehicle for that, they gave me one not even for my car that didn’t fit then told me that’s the best they can do, while again I was under the impression the car I was buying was coming with one, then I go to go tag my new vehicle go to the department of revenue and while I’m there they tell me I can’t tag my vehicle cause I don’t have the correct title, so we call tummina Mazda and instead they treat us like we are wrong and don’t know what we are talking about, and then they acted like it was an inconvenience to give me another 30 day tag even tho it was their screwup, then they finally got the correct title so I got it tagged then a month later I get something in the mail saying I can’t register any vehicles because once again they xxxxed up and didn’t sign my title, then today I go in to have my oil changed and I noticed 3 of my lights on my vehicle have moisture and water in them, and then they go to tell me the extra warranty I bought doesn’t cover that stuff when we were told it would, then they quote me 1200$ for one light not including tax or labor, we have made atleast 6+ trips out to this dealership and all they can say is sorry they haven’t tried to right any wrongs, they aren’t sorry. Then today I was supposed to be getting a free oil change since I bought the car from them then they tried to charge me for it, then the lady at the counter in the parts department she was rude, and very unprofessional she even slammed a door in front of me and my grandmother, they also didn’t fix one of the problems with the trunk when I brought it up today they kept it exactly the same. I have never been so appalled by the service of somewhere, they also charge 3-4000 more than other dealerships, basis of the story do not buy from this dealership, they rip you off and they lie. Also I feel I have been very patient with having to take multiple trips out there, and it was just very irritating and disappointing with how nonchalant they were being about everything. I wanted so badly to have a good experience with buying a vehicle from here but I will not be going back unless more issues arise. The only nice person was joe the manager but he still didn’t do much when it came to all the issues. Rant over

Good People, low pressure.

Good People, low pressure. They will not push you to buy a car, but once you decide, they will do everything in their power to get you into the vehicle you want. Service after the sale is also very good. I have bought vehicles from them for the past ten years and I have never had a problem with any of them. What sets Tumminia apart from other dealerships? How they treat their customers. You get personalized service, you're not just another sale and they make you feel like you are important to them.

Fair Deal, Quick Communication

Dealer was willing to somewhat negotiate with the over the market price of the used vehicle. Ended up being a fair deal for both of us. Time will tell if the vehicle will hold up. Paperwork was ready and organized. No wasted time with pressure sales pitches. Overall a fine expereince.

Great Customer Service and Purchase

I had purchased a Mazda 6 from Tumminia (when it was Independence Mazda) about 15 years and decided to purchase a CX-5 this year. The buying process was low pressure, and I love the vehicle so far. I felt at ease with this dealership, after spending two weeks haggling with other dealers about what "payments I could afford" when all I needed to know was the price of the car. Everyone was professional and easy to work with. Thank you, Billy and Tumminia Mazda, for a fantastic experience!

Best car buying experience ever!

Todd and his team made our experience incredibly easy! We had done our research and had an idea of what we wanted. They were great about getting a CX-5 ready for us to test drive before we even got there! Once we decided what to purchase, the entire process from arriving at the dealership to financing to driving off the lot was about an hour. The trade offer on my car was very fair and now they have a customer for life!

Awesome Dealership

Today I bought my second Mazda from Tumminia Mazda and it's like dealing with friends. Had my same salesman, Fritz, manager, Justin, and finance guy, Mark. Got to speak with Ernie a couple of times again too. All great guys! They are honest and offer no pressure sales, which is very much appreciated. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled when you get a great product and service at a great price. If you're looking for a Mazda, this is the only place to go. Thanks Tumminia Mazda!

Safety Hazard

They sold me a vehicle with a safety issue. My tires could have blown out, and not only hurt me, but could have caused a fatality accident. I sent an email, and got a read receipt, but no response as of yet!!! My control arms were resting on the tires and gouging into them when I drove. In surprised that they have not blown yet. But it is a ticking time bomb. I've reported them to the BBB. Also this vehicle had an OPEN safety recall when they sold it to me....He is refusing to do anything about this. He said I bought it a year ago and it isn't his problem. Terrible customer service skills. Horrible Owner and dealership!

I got ignored

I came in on a Friday afternoon, a walked around the lot unbothered for about 30 minutes, I could see them looking at me and I waved my hand a couple times and no one ever came out to greet me. I guess my dirty overalls gave them the impression I can't afford their cars. I gave up and went down the street and paid $46k cash on a brand new truck from someone else.

A truly great no pressure experience

When researching an SUV to buy, we ended up at Tummina Mazda looking at a CX-5. Not knowing much about it at the time, we were met by Fritz who was able to answer any and all questions we had. Zero pressure, just "I'd love to answer any questions you have." They even offered up to let us take a CX-5 home for the night and return it the next day. "If you don't like it, just drop it off out front and leave the keys in the door. No pressure." Wow! We decided to buy the CX-5 so we started trying to work a deal at basically every dealership around the KC Metro. Everyone came back with similar trade in numbers for our car and with similar numbers for their CX-5. Some dealerships tried playing games over the phone, but Justin (the sales manager) at Tumminia stayed cool and provided numbers, explained what they all meant, and offered help with anything we needed. No pressure, no "What can I do to get this done today?" or anything of the sort that I was getting from other dealerships. By that point we were sold on Tumminia. We set up an appointment to get everything done, filled out an application online, and met with them that evening. Not only were they already preparing paperwork for us when we arrived, but they knew it would take a little while to get everything finalized so they gave us a loaner CX-5 to take out to dinner while they got everything ready! Mr. Tumminia was also there so he introduced himself to us and talked about how they are very much a family operation. That they may not have the power of the bigger chains but that they viewed the customer experience as #1 and that loyalty keeps them going. He provided snacks and treats for our toddler while they went over information with us to make sure we were okay with the deal. The preparation they put into each sale was very obvious when we went in to sign the papers and make it a done deal. Everything was already printed and ready for us to sign. We spent more time talking with the finanace manager about his grandchildren than we did signing papers. Once everything was done, they could have sent us out the door and on our way without a concern. Instead they gave us a personal tour of the CX-5 we bought, and our salesman Fritz sat down in the car with us and went over every feature the car had. He went over the owners manual as well. He then called the next day to make sure I didn't have any questions he could answer. I dread going to dealerships, but my experience with Tumminia Mazda was truly something else. They welcomed us in, didn't pressure us to make any decisions, and only wanted to help as much as they could whether we bought a car from them or not. It's an experience I've never had with a dealership before. I can truly say that I've never had a better buying experience with a dealership than I had with Tumminia and, when it comes time to buy a car in the future, I won't forget that. They are as good as it gets.
