CHECK YOUR LOAN AMOUNTS IF YOU HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE PLEASE!!! THEY USE YOUR TRUST AND SLIP IN A WARRANTY THAT IS ALMOST 4,000 ADDED TO YOUR LOAN AMOUNT!!!!! MY LOAN WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR 15,000 and it is now almost 19000!!! PLEASE BEWARE THEY ARE NOT BBB Accredited and for VERY GOOD REASON! Your “team” NEVER discussed the warranty EVER! They add it to the amount that is financed, in a VERY fraudulent way! You prey on people who trust you, you tell them the payment amount and CHARLIE hands you the papers, points where to sign and NEVER tells you the loan amount is not only increased but you have a warranty that you never asked for and is quite frankly garbage. IVE ASKED 3 times for the warranty to be removed because LEGALLY I can have it removed at any time! 3 of your employees INCLUDING management assured me it would be taken care of! AFTER WEEKS of waiting I had to look up the warranty company and call and initiate the process MYSELF AND NOW IM WAITING FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES TO SEND THE CHECK TO THE FINANCING COMPANY! PICKED UP A 2024 HONDA PILOT ON 11/31/23. HAD A TOWING PACKAGE INSTALLED. THE DEALERSHIP KNOWINGLY LEFT OUT THE PART THAT MADE THE HANDS- FREE TAILGATE INOPERABLE. LEFT OVER 3 VOICE MAILS BEFORE ANY ONE RESPONDED. GOT A CALL BACK FROM TONY ALCALA AND HE ADMITTED THE HE DID NOT ORDER THAT PART NEEDED. I LIVE 3 HOURS FROM THE BETTEN BAKER HONDA. SO WE AGREED TO HAVE THE CAR SERVICED AT WILLAMS HONDA IN TRAVERSE CITY. HEARD NOTHING FROM WILLIAMS I CALLED THEM ON 11/14/23 AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT TONY SAID HE WOULD ORDER THE PART AND SEND TO WILLIAMS. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. SPOKE TO WILLIAMS HONDA ON 11/14/23,THEY AGREED TO ORDER THE PART. MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE IT INSTALLED ON 11/30/23 . TONY ALSO SAID THAT HE WOULD SEND ME SPLASH GUARDS FOR MY TROUBLE, THIS HAS HAPPENED.I LEFT A MESAGE WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER JOSEPH GRIMM TODAY, HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. Dishonest and Doesn’t care!

I found a pickup exactly like I wanted that I've been searching for weeks online for at this place but I live 180 miles away. I called to make an appointment for the next day with a salesman named Currie and wanted to express my concerns that it wouldn't be sold while I'm making the 3 hour drive there. He told me that he was putting the keys in his office so no one could do anything with it and it would be there for me when I got there the next morning. I left my house at 6 am to make the drive there. About half way, Currie calls me and tells me that he had some leads that he had to tend to a half hour before my appointment. I asked him, they aren't coming to look at the pickup I'm coming for are they and he replied that they were not. Upon my arrival, I was told by Jeff, the sales manager that Currie had went home and someone was already there looking at the pickup that I came for. I reiterated that Currie promised me that this issue wouldn't happen to me. Jeff gave all kinds of excuses like the internet sales guy booked an appointment with the other people at 7pm the day before and I had to tell him that I booked my appointment around noon before they did. Also he said all his guys weren't trained on the new system they have, blah blah blah. He didn't seem to care what Currie had promised me or the fact that I was out about 400 miles round trip, a lost day of work and extra mileage on my truck when I'm trying to keep the miles low and trade it in. Long story short, the other people bought the truck out from under me and all Jeff offered me was some gas without so much as an apology. Evidently Currie knew that he screwed up and wanted to avoid conflict so he went home before I arrived. I think everyone needs to know about the dishonesty and lack of compassion from this dealership.

First class operation

Bought a used 2019 Subaru from this dealership and could not be more pleased with the service, the ease of financing and selection. The car had just been put into inventory and had a few wrinkles to iron out. Betten Baker did all they promised they would do in prepping the car and making sure I was getting a quality product. Salesman Gage even delivered the car to our home when the service department finished with the final product.

Betten Baker Cares

I recently wrote a review indicating I was upset with my experience of purchasing a used 2017 Buick Encore .. the day after my purchase the engine light came on and I was informed the car had a turbo problem and a cracked manifold. The GMC warranty I purchased from Betten would not cover my claim because they felt it was a pre-existing condition…I contacted Robb who sold me the vehicle and Tony the manager explaining what the situation was… they were both very cooperative and helpful in handing my concern and did everything they could to rectify the predicament..they clearly understood my frustration..disagreeing with GWC stating that when the car was approved there was no pre existing damage..As of now Tony is repairing my SUV at no cost to me, which I greatly appreciate…it’s a comforting feeling to know there are still people out there who really care… thanks Tony and Robb!

4 years of complaining about a noise in a new car and

4 years of complaining about a noise in a new car and they finally verify it but tell me it is now out of warranty. There was even a service bulletin I was initially told didn't apply, but they later said it did. Then to add insult to injury they charged $98.00 to VERIFY that it was making the noise I claimed. They wanted $280 more to apply the service bulletin since it is now out of warranty. No morals, no ethics.
