Scott in service is a good dude. Honest, and super helpful. He even showed me detailed computer images of part locations. Special ordered parts that were received next day, and these were not your typical parts! Worked with pricing and at the end of the day, he made my life easier. This is how business should be done in today’s busy world. Will definitely maintain a purchasing relationship with this department for years to come. The parts guys deserve a raise! I can only wish working with people in my community would go this smoothly all the time; helpful people making/taking time to do what is right makes this world a more beautiful place during our twilight zone era times. Thank you KOOL Toyota parts department.

Kool Toyota and Earl Thomas Rock!
Earl Thomas was an exceptional sales person. Patient and helpful, not pushy. Let my wife lead the way since it was her car...she did her homework and Earl was very helpful and informative as was the rest of the Kool staff including Rob & Bruce. Got a great deal on a new Highlander and we’re both delighted.
Be Careful....KOOL PRICE is not KOOL
Be careful...their KOOL PRICE does not represent their actual lease pricing. In a normal car transaction regardless if you lease or buy, the sales price is the sales price. Was told if I did not sign a check or pay cash on the spot, KOOL PRICE could not be offered and customer cash was not applicable.
I have a 2008 Toyota Rav4. On the first really hot day in 2016 I turned on my air conditioner only to find that it was not putting out any cooled air. I took it to Kool Toyota and they found out that the refrigeration compressor no longer worked. They also found out that the compressor's warranty had run out 2 months prior. In discussing the situation with the service rep. Tracey Porter she said the repair would come to over $1,000 . She told me to contact corporate customer service to see what they could do for me. She gave me their number. I called them and they ultimately gave me a 50% discount. I was blown away!!
Inappropriate Behavior By Sales Manager Greg Wylie
Due to a 2 1/2 hour drive one-way to Grand Rapids, I obtained an over-the-phone cash sales price from Kool Toyota Dealership Manager Rod Dewey for a 2015 certified, pre-owned Chevrolet Silverado, crew cab that my daughter had found on the internet. Mr. Dewey asked us to work with his sales manager, Greg Wylie, because Mr. Dewey was going to be away for a few days. In short, the next day, after driving 2 1/2 hours with cash in hand, we found the truck to be beautiful, but the inside of the box was terribly scratched; too scratched for a liner. I called and found out the cost of spray-in liner. We asked Mr. Wylie if they could give us the allowance to have the box sprayed, or even cover half of the price. He said it was a truck. I told him these girls were not buying them as trucks, but like cars. He raised his voice and said if we didn't like the price, don't buy it. Just leave, just get out! I wanted to leave, but my daughter had driven the truck and really wanted it, so after she quit crying, we purchased the truck from Wylie's salesman. Greg Wylie's behavior was totally inappropriate and will be reported to both Toyota and Chevrolet. We will never purchase another vehicle from Kool Toyota. We have received no apologies from anyone at Kool Toyota.
I look on line for a used Camry, they had a 2012 certified, for $16,431. We went to the lot and talked to Brian Foster, he let us drive it. When we returned and started to negotiate a price he looked at his paper, and said that car is on the lot for $16,931. When I told him the sticker in the window and the internet price was $16,431. His reply was the price is always a little lower on the internet, and the person who puts in the window stickers put the wrong one in that at car. We made an offer, he came back from the manager with the counter offer, and said the window sticker guy is getting his butt chewed out right now. We exchanged offers again, and he returned saying I could get to your offer if we could decertify the car, BUT Toyota changed their policy Jan. 1 2015 we are not allowed to do that anymore. We left it at that. Two days later we stopped in to see if they would take our offer, and low and behold the sticker on the car was still $16,431. Brian's Sheet now had it at $16,631, I asked him why the sticker was still $16,431, I was told the guy that changes them was sick. I made one last offer, when he came back from the manager he said they would agree to that, BUT they would have to decertify the car.
Apparently do not really want to sell Toyota trucks
I called this dealer with the exact model and options for a Toyota employee purchase, that I planned on making. Tacoma Double Cab, with TRD Off Road package, preferable color was Spruce Green ... employee purchase paperwork in hand as well as blank bank check. I knew they had one Tacoma with this package on the lot (albeit different color). I was told that was sold (then why was it sitting front & center by the road) and that they could not get anymore ... The "Sales" Mgr. told the salesmen to tell me to, "Just wait for the '15s". Plain and simple, they did not want to be bothered with someone with cash in hand for the right vehicle. Apparently, they do not want to sell vehicles too bad. I called another dealer, who did not have the Tacoma with the correct package (or color). Within hours the other dealer had located the truck I wanted, in the color I wanted ... guess where I just spent over $30k ... not at KOOL Toyota that's for sure.
A+ Service / Sales Consultant Adam Bock
I have recently purchased 2013 Toyota Corolla and I have to say that it was a pleasure to work with Adam. He made everything easy and the whole transaction was a five star service. I'm sure there are more great people at Cool Toyota but to get the best of the best look for Adam Bock. I appreciate your hard work Adam. Thank you.
