5 stars all the way. The buying experience was amazing. The staff was wonderful to work with. I cannot think of any way it could have been better!
I been in the car market for the past 6 months and had decided to check out the Mercedes Benz Dealership. I went in and thought to myself that it would... be nice to drive a Mercedes Benz since I love their cars and a huge fan of the S class and love the Maybach Benz. When I got there, I talked to a gentlemen named Samir Eminic and at first I thought it was just your average salesmen that was trying to get a sale. I told him what was my price range and what I was looking for. Over time I'd test drive a car here and there to give him my opinion and then negotiate on the price of a vehicle that caught my interest. Samir was very persistent on letting me know what cars they had got in inventory and email me the car packet with all of the vehicle information. So two weeks ago Samir had hit me up about an E-class that they had got on trade in and I decided to go down to the dealership to give it a drive. At first I was a little hesitant because when you think of a Mercedes, you think of money automatically. After driving the E-class and CLS class, I gave it some thought and talked it over with a few friends and family. Last Saturday I decided to pull the trigger after Samir had told me that someone else may be interested and decided to go ahead and get the E-class. The finance manager was pretty chill and the whole process was fairly smooth. I'd HIGHLY recommend working with Samir Eminic because he's willing to work with you and your budget. He'll give you his honest opinion and great at building rapport with you. Good job bro :)
Everyone at the dealership was very friendly. The process was fast and easy. I love my new car!
Purchased a new E class 3 months ago, held off on review until we had time to get to know the new car. Our sales agent , Johnny Villotti , was very helpful.... 2020 450E 4matic has been fantastic. Have Owned Mercedes since the 70's. This model has had no trouble with mechanics, fit/finish. Great technology integration.
All the team members were responsive to my buying needs. Kristian was understanding of what I needed and wanted in a used car, was helpful with answering... financing questions, and made every step of the buying process smooth.
Traveling through the state and had a tire emergency. We called an hour before closing time and the service dept offered to stay an hour late just to... get us in and got all tires replaced and we were back on the road in about 30 min!!! We were so incredibly impressed and thankful for the service we received!
Kristian was great in helping us find our new Mercedes he did a great job I definitely will recommended him to family when they purchase. Thank you Mercedes... Benz of Des Moines.
So Kelly Osborn promised us a Honda 2016 CRV with $17800, then when we almost closed the deal, his boss came out and said they cannot sell the car less... than $18900, because of KBB priced it at $18900. So don’t freaking promise us if you can sell the car at $17800, just saying.
Do not buy a pre-owned vehicle here unless it has a warranty, or you take it to another shop for a full inspection. We searched around for a used vehicle... for our daughter and found a Honda here. The price seemed okay and we mistakenly thought it would be better to purchase from a well known dealer rather than someone less "reputable", but that turned out to be a major mistake. The vehicle in question was sold as-is, which was not out of the ordinary. We looked at the CarFax report and saw that the vehicle was a one-owner vehicle that had no reported accidents. We were told by the sales person that the vehicle had gone through an inspection at the dealer and that the only thing they found was the facia below the front bumper was broken and that they had fixed that. The inspection was either grossly incompetent or a flat out lie. After 2 months of ownership and roughly 600 miles of driving the vehicle developed a pronounced thump in the right rear wheel. We took it to Smart Honda and learned several things. First, the thump was coming from the fact that "the wheel was about to fall off". 2 of the lug bolts had cracked and were loose and the other 3 had stripped threads. In addition to that, the rear brakes were worn through and had damaged the brake discs. According to Smart Honda the brake issues had been present for quite a while. Also, the rear shocks were blown and needed to be replaced. All tolled, this amounts to around $1300 worth of repair work. I understand that the vehicle was sold as-is, but I cannot see how a dealer can in good conscience sell a vehicle in this state. Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines either lied about doing an inspection, did a grossly incompetent job of inspection, or did an adequate inspection and lied to us about the findings. The bottom line is, do not buy a pre-owned vehicle here unless it comes with a really good warranty, or you take the vehicle somewhere else for a thorough inspection.
BEWARE - DO NOT BUY - SCAMMERS Anthony Gladney; General Manager Ryan Winroth, Sales Director Steve Cramer; Sales Associate I purchased a 2019 GLC300... Coupe listed on Cars.com by Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines. These fine individuals NEVER DISCLOSED EXISTING DAMAGE in the advertisement or during seller and potential buyer conversations. Photos provided were of angles which were favorable to sell. When the vehicle was delivered to me; as the NEW 1st Time Mercedes-Benz owner, by the transportation company I noticed the damage immediately while the vehicle was on the transport lift. Before signing for the vehicle, I Called the dealership and was connected to Anthony Gladney; General Manager of Des Moines, and forwarded him photos of the vehicle condition. Anthony apologized and PROMISED TO REPAIR and I should sign off on the delivery based on his "WORD" to repair to show room ready satisfaction. Well, Still Waiting after 4 months for his promise following, Mercedes-Benz 2 separate bodyshop estimates of $8,000. Was flat out told by Ryan Winroth that the estimates were RIDICULOUS and there was no way they would pay to repair my vehicle. WARNING: This dealer is not honest or reputable, let along a dealer who follows through on their word to repair a damage vehicle they misrepresented. NO RESOLUTION TO DATE - AFTER SEVERAL FAILED ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT Anthony Gladney; General Manager, Lithia Motor Corporation's Executive Team - David Stork; Chief Legal Officer, Scott Hillier and Bryan Osterhout; Sr Vice President of Operations. They have ALL displayed the highest level of Customer Care by not responding. Guess my $50,000 purchase wasn't enough to care about customer retention let along customer satisfaction. DO NOT IT!!!! SCAMMERS WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTTTTEDDDD LINE..........
