Met with Rob.

Met with Rob. Signed in. Set the remote to Fox News and just like that the Buick was ready. Since Simpson does not repair screws in tires, I stopped at O'Reilly's. Got plug a kit. Went home and with my wife's help, plugged the tire. Drove to Costco with 21 psi and pumped it up 39 psi. Still DIY at 82.

It took 3 days to read 6 codes and get my quotes.

It took 3 days to read 6 codes and get my quotes. Then my quotes are crazy expensive $8,291.81. for example to change the 2 heater hoses $926.16, Exhaust sensors $4,629.01 its crazy how much mechanics can charge. Never trust a dealership to repair anything in your vehicle.

I?m surprised I was sent a survey after what transpired

I?m surprised I was sent a survey after what transpired at the dealership. I scheduled an oil change for my vehicle and nothing else. After the oil change was completed I got a call from my service advisor telling me I had a major problem, both of my motor mounts were broke. The service rep went so far as to put on the paperwork that I was complaining of noise from the motor when driving. This was not true, I never made such a complaint. I hand wrote on the final dealer paperwork that I did not make such a complaint, it will be in your file. He further stated, not to worry as he had already submitted my problem to my extended warranty plan and they agreed to cover both motor mounts. This was absolutely not true. One motor mount was not covered by the insurance company, it was in fact denied. I don?t think there was ever anything wrong. Then as they are making these ?repairs? I get another call saying my battery died, and it will cost $491 dollars to put in a new battery. I told them there was nothing wrong with the battery when they did the oil change, which includes the battery being checked. I have the paperwork that shows your inspection and nothing was wrong with the battery, I was told that they had to jump start the car battery to make it start, and if I didn?t replace the battery my car wouldn?t work when I picked it up. The battery is warrantied for 42 months by General Motors, they refused to process the warranty, going so far as to tell me that I had to produce the wholesale receipt from the install. Just made up lying nonsense. I told them no, and I called Chevrolet corporate and they told me that was not correct, they should warranty it. Corporate is still looking into the issue. When I picked up the vehicle, it was absolutely filthy, the guy turned off the car, threw the keys in the seat and just walked off. I started the car, so much for a non working battery, I took it to the mechanics that installed it, and they tested the battery. Nothing wrong with the battery. I was lied to about the motor mounts and the battery, and I have it all in writing. I?m not done with this issue. Your dealership is not honest, and consumers should be made aware.

I though that buying a new truck was going to be easy.

I though that buying a new truck was going to be easy. I contacted Simpson Chevrolet in Irvine through email about buying a brand new Silverado. in order to get to talk to someone you have to provide a name and phone number almost immediately a phone call... I did not answer. I have found having everything in writing is the best way to deal with car dealers. long story short. they sent me a break down on a basic truck and I explained that I was looking for something a little better that this, they sent me a link to their site and said take a look and let me know if anything catches your eye. I found a truck that I liked and text them the stock number. They responded back via text the truck is still in stock and would I like to come down and see it. I text back what is my price out the door they gave me a price of," Roughly $47338.50." the next morning I received a text from them Asking if the price would work for me. later they responded, they would love to help me with this truck. later that night I text them. I would take the truck what time are you working Drake? he text back 9am-4pm. I text I'll see you at 1:30pm. He asked for info on me so he could get paperwork started so when we arrive it wouldn't take very long ,and I provided him with it. he text me the he pulled the truck up front and it was ready for us. When I arrived it wasn't even close to the truck we discussed via text. I should him the stock number he quoted it took him 30 min to find the truck and it was missing several of the items listed in the add. its like oh I need this for another sale , I'll just take it from this truck. After he said he'd replace all the missing items, the price of the truck jumped up to $53000. I had everything in writing and they tried to blame someone else for the quote mistake who conveniently wasn't there In a nut shell do not buy from this dealer ship I've been buying Silverados for 30+ years and this is the first Chevy dealer that literally sent me a price in writing and then refused to honor it! No integrity at all. Buyer Beware!
