I took my car for an inspection to check the safety

I took my car for an inspection to check the safety recall for Airbag and when they return to me, the little parts for the back chairs where you put the car seat were stolen for them. I came back and they just said "Sorry" we can't do nothing about just go to the place where you bought your car.

From the time we walked onto Don Jacob's Toyota,

From the time we walked onto Don Jacob's Toyota, including driving away with my new used car, my wife and I were treated like king an queen. The car we purchased was not very expensive, but we were treated like we bought the most expensive car on the lot!! Two thumbs up for Bill and his team. I highly recommend Don Jacob's Toyota!!

Morning, I wasn't sure who to talk to about this, first

Morning, I wasn't sure who to talk to about this, first Mike Alton did not go over the bill or explain anything to me about the work completed. He just walked me over to the cashier and made me pay for my bill. The AC refresh, the sanitize does not smell like a sanitizer it smells like jet fuel it stinks in my vehicle so bad that it upsets my stomach and gives me a headache. The mechanic vacuumed my blower motor and charged me $190. Are you kidding me I'm sure it only took 5 minutes to vacuum ! Pulled the nail from my tire to put a plug in it and charge me $44. I have already put a plug in a tire and you don't need to take the tire off the rim to put the plug in . On top of it I have a shop charge of $79.45, for what ???? Which I wasn't told would be on my bill, looks like it was added before the work was even taxed. So I'm being taxed on a shop charge? Mike tried to tell me that I needed my master cylinder and brake line flushed which I told him for vehicle having 20,000 miles I didn't need that done. Evidently he must think that I'm a stupid woman. I feel very taken advantage of being on a fixed income. I wonder how many other customers feels like they got screwed over. I'll bet money that he gets paid commission.

Typical shady car dealership.

Typical shady car dealership. I live 2 hours from this dealership so I was very specific with them on what I had for a trade, how much I was willing to put down, the loan term and maximum payment I was looking for. The salesman’s words to me, “That’s definitely possible!” From there I made an appointment to drive down and told him that as long as everything looks good on the truck and everything checks out for them on my trade, I would be buying the truck. The day after I made my appointment the truck suddenly jumps up in price $1,400! This Tundra had consistently decreased in price over the past 3 months without an single increase, and then the day after I make an appointment to come and get it, it has an increase in price. When I asked the salesman about it he said that it was due to the “market” and they would not honor the price it was listed for when I made the appointment. I told him I would still be interested in the truck if they could still meet my loan and payment requirements. I had mentioned several times I didn’t want to fill out a financial application if they didn’t think it would be possible to meet my requirements for payment because I have excellent credit and I didn’t want the ding on my credit score if it wasn’t possible. Salesman told me the managers would be willing to work with me on it as long as I filled out the application. So I fill it out, my credit score is 800, they come back and say my monthly payment would be $100 more per month than the number that I had originally gave them and was told that it was “definitely possible”. Now I have a drop in my credit score for nothing. If you are thinking about wasting your time there, don’t make an appointment for a future date and express that you will buy the vehicle, in case there are “market” increases. Also wouldn’t recommend listening to the sales people if they say something is possible from a payment standpoint. Hopefully all Toyota dealerships aren’t this shady. Was looking forward to switching from a Silverado to a Tundra.

Do Not Take Your Car For Services at this Dealer.

Beware!!!!! Avoid this dealership. I took my car in for a battery test and after 2 hours, they came back saying that my battery failed. They also did an inspections which I cross off and told I them I did not want them inspecting anything (Just fricken do the Battery test). Another 30min goes by and the service rep came back saying my shifter cable broke and it would cost $900 to fix. I told them you broke it you pay for it. They claim they did nothing wrong. I have severe relationship with this dealer and will never step foot in this Dealership. BEWARE- DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

Salesamn follow up

After writing my bad review, a salesman from the dealership reached out to me apologizing for my bad experience. This salesman happened to be the my original point of contact before meeting with the sales woman I dealt with on the lot. Edwin Hernandez, I appreciate your reaching out and explaining your side as this BS policy is not your call. As we discussed this practice should be used with caution and much better discretion as this dealership im sure is losing potential BUYERS! I appreciate your professionalism in reaching out and having a conversation about the incident.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

My experience was horrible. I arrived at Don Jacobs to hopefully PURCHASE a Corvette that they had on their lot. I was met by a sales woman who relayed to me that I wouldnt be able to test drive the vehicle I wanted to PURCHASE until we agreed upon a purchase price. This practice has to be killing your business. Most ADULTS coming to your lot are NOT looking to joyride in your vehicles! This would have been the easiest sale ever as I came prepared with certified funds in hand for the full asking price including all fees. Obviously this is a business practice your management teams needs to take a second look at because your losing sales and customers. For an individual who purchases cars regularly I will gladly extend my search further NOT to deal with this dealership and will make it a point to share my negative experience with those searching for a place to BUY a car without the BS.

Don’t buy from Don Jacobs.

Do not buy cars from Don Jacobs in Milwaukee. Unethical sales practice. I wanted to purchase a car and was denied due to not living in the right city even though I am only located an hour away. Don’t waste your time.
