Best car buying experience I have had!

They were amazing and so helpful and got me exactly what I was looking for. They were fair and honest on pricing. Very friendly and will recommend them to anyone.

Professional and Courteous

Scott is a phenomenal sales representative. The process of buying a car can be overwhelming and daunting, no less. Working with Scott, he exudes and demonstrates the highest level of customer service and care. I appreciate Scott's honesty as to what my desires and budget could afford. Scott work with the financial parameters of what my wife and I could afford. I never expected walking out the door with a brand-new car! The patience and details made the experience going back in the future. Scott, made the process less cumbersome and complex. Pretty fluid and seamless. The team also made getting into new car feasible. I truly appreciate Scott's professionalism and being courteous. He went above and beyond to make our car buying experience a pleasant process.

Disappointing

The vehicle price listed in out the door quote was $1,000 more than the vehicle price given in writing. Lack of concern and communication by employees, even to express it was a mistake on their part, nothing... Unprofessional and disappointing, as I would have driven the 12+ round trip to purchase a vehicle.

Shopper's Beware

After working with Dustin and Doug (Sales Manager) on the pricing for a 2013 Lexus RX 350 we agreed to meet at a specific time on Friday to confirm value of my trade in and complete paperwork. I offered to put a deposit down on the Lexus and it was indicated that wasn't necessary. I emailed and texted today to confirm timing (driving from Denver to Colorado Springs) and was told that the car was sold the night before. I was not contacted ahead of time nor would I have been notified if I had not reached out myself (despite being asked by Doug to extend him the courtesy of notifying him of my inability to show or need to reschedule as that is what he would (of course) do). In fact, I was then called (about an hour later) by their appointment team to confirm what time I was supposed to arrive and ensure that still worked for me. Dustin (sales guy) texted to say that he would be in touch if the sale didn't go through as it was contingent on an inspection. After waiting over 6 hours for a response I emailed and called. Sales Associate that responded saying 'yes the car is still available' (but never responded to my follow up email) and the phone call informed me that yes the car was in fact sold. Doug and Dustin never once apologized or asked for any way to try to make the situation right. I wouldn't recommend this to dealership to anyone. Shoppers beware.

Scott Took Care of Me

Scott did a good job finding the car I wanted and getting it sold fast once I made a decision. There was some of the normal game play with any car sale of making me put some money down to hold it whether there was actually others that interested or not. The finance guy really tried to sell me the extra warranty until he realized I bought the TDI and not the gas turbo and then he backed off a little. It has been a year now and Scott still gave me the first free oil change as he said he would in the beginning when I thought I would be driving more and needing them more often, Overall, I was satisfied with the buying process at Bob Penkhus in Motor City. I would go back if they had a vehicle I wanted again.

100% Cotton

Dave Cotton is by far, the best car salesman I have ever worked with. He made the entire car purchase process easy. I went in with a specific car in mind; he didn't push for a pricier car even though I had been pre-approved for much more. The finance guy was also a pleasure to work with. I'm very happy with my car and with the employees at Bob Penkhus.

Dave was awesome!

Dave was fantastic! I wrecked my vehicle and had less than a week to find another one with a tight budget. He totally hooked me up with a perfect vehicle and is pretty close to exactly what I was saving up to buy next anyway. He totally worked with me, and since I bought a used vehicle he made sure everything was up to safety standards and beyond. I'm totally coming back to this dealership and hopefully Dave for my next purchase.

Satisfied so far!

We bought a used 08 Escape and so far things have gone well. Our salesman Dave Johnson was great and not pushy. I would likely buy another car from them.
