Mike Bakeman was such a great person to work with!

Mike Bakeman was such a great person to work with! He is so great and willing to go the extra mile to get you the right car. He was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely buy from him again and again!

Not Trustworthy Went in and offered full asking price

Not Trustworthy Went in and offered full asking price for a vehicle but they would not honor a Kelly Blue Book average value for my trade in. They offered $2600 less and would not work with me at all. One week later they discounted the vehicle I offered full price for by $3000. I guess my money wasn't good enough. I would be very wary buying from them. This is the first bad review I have ever left but hopefully I can help someone else from getting played on price.

I'm a Volvo nerd, and usually I know way more about

I'm a Volvo nerd, and usually I know way more about Volvos than any salesperson I ever work with. But I finally found someone that was also super knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Alina in new car sales helped me find the exact car to replace my mom's Volvo that had been destroyed in a tornado. Alina made the process so easy and simple, and she really knows her stuff. She was friendly, personable, and made the delivery experience memorable. The Borton facility was truly impressive, and it the purchase experience was 5 stars. That's largely in part because Alina knew how to treat you like you were her only customer, answering any questions and was wonderful at explaining the new technology features of the car. I drove 5 hours to help my mom pick up her new car, and Alina met me at the door. Within an hour we were on our way home. It couldn't have been easier, and I highly recommend talking with Alina in sales if you are considering purchasing a Volvo. So often the sales experience can be a hassle or awkward working with a stranger, but she avoided all those pitfalls. Thanks Alina for helping my mom find the exact car she wanted!

Do not go here!

Do not take your car here to be serviced. I brought my car in for the 60,000 mile service, for $3000. Got it back. They did not do all the services promised. Brought it back again so they could finish what they should have in the first place, then car shook after they worked on it. Find a different place to service your Volvo. I will be.

We worked with Kevin Nikiforakis, Pre-Owned Sales Consultant at Borton Volvo, Golden Valley, MN. Kevin is highly personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We were lucky to find a 2022 XC60 with all luxury upgrades we love! If you want excellence and safety in a vehicle, you will love Volvo! This dealership is top notch and the entire staff there will roll out the red carpet for you!

Thanks to Duane and Blake!- and you too, George!

We just picked up our 3rd new Volvo today. This one is an XC90T8, the second car we've bought from Duane. He is super easy to work with, has a great sense of humor, and kept us apprised of all the delays, and the eventual arrival of our car. (Darn computer chips and their scarcity.) Technology and options have changed a lot since we last bought a car in 2016. After getting us all connected to our google, phone and Volvo apps, Blake went through everything patiently and answered our questions as they came up. He was Very Thorough and encouraging. The new tech seems quite logical now. He also showed us how to do the electrical charging. George helped us with the required paperwork and actually paying for the car. It was an organized and straightforward process.
