STAY AWAY FROM MORRIES GOLDEN VALLEY CADILLAC, STAY AWAY...
STAY AWAY FROM MORRIES GOLDEN VALLEY CADILLAC, STAY AWAY FROM ALL MORRIES AUTO AND SERVICE CENTERS! I was a loyal customer for 4 years until I found out they go through customers' cars that are in for service. Their employees go through customers' personal bags and items even if they are in a closed compartment. EVEN if the items are secured in a closed bag. When you ask why they give you some BS story of why they had to remove it. Then when things are missing from that closed bag that they removed from your personal vehicle, they question your integrity and call you a liar to prove what was missing. Below is what has happened to me and it is still not resolved almost TWO MONTHS later. I dropped my Escalade off for engine work on Friday, September 3rd. An unfortunate incident happened to my vehicle on Saturday September 11th. My vehicle was stolen from inside the Morries Service Center, then crashed and ditched in the parking lot. (Well that's at least what I am being told, I have still not seen any video footage proving these statements). I finally received a call about the incident that took place on 9/11 by the General Manager Nand at 5:55 pm on September 13th. 60 HOURS AFTER IT HAPPENED!! I asked if I could come in right away to see the damage, but because he waited until 5 minutes before they closed to call me, I had to wait until the next day. I then asked Nand before the end of the call if he would be willing to check my center counsel for an important item in there. Nand quickly responded, "You mean the blue bank bag? Yes, that has been put in our safe." Not thinking anything of it at the time, I was just happy it wasn't stolen. The next morning I went to meet with Nand and Brandon (the service manager) to see my Escalade, discuss the situation and retrieve my bank bag. When I first sat down I asked if I could see the video of the theft and they said they could email it to me. I asked for my bank bag. Brandon gave it to me and when I went through it in front of both of them and found $4,000 worth of value missing. I then began questioning why this bag from my center counsel was touched or removed at all. Nand responded with, "we took that out the other day and put it into our safe so nothing would happen to it. We had issues locking your car so we had an employee go through it to see if a key was in it somewhere." Sure enough my spare key for my vehicle had been in the bank bag, BUT my vehicle does lock when a key is inside because I can unlock it with the app on my phone. When they walked me back to my recovered vehicle I asked again when the event took place. Nand told me it happened Saturday evening 9/11 after they closed. When I asked why I didn't hear about it for 60 HOURS I got an answer that he was out on Saturday night personally chasing the other vehicles that were stolen and could be tracked with GPS and didn't have time to call anyone and Sunday was his day off. I thought it was very odd that any MANAGER of a dealership would be "chasing" criminals. Also, he lied about when the event actually TOOK PLACE!! According to the Golden Valley police report this took place at 6:33am on Saturday morning. EVERYTHING THIS MANAGER HAS SAID TO ME HAS BEEN LIES! I still have yet to see the video evidence of this theft and crash because they claim it's too big to email. When I ask to come in and see it, the GM has very limited time IN the store to help me with this issue. The MANAGER told me that he felt personally responsible for the entire event since it is HIS store and will do anything he can to work with me and the insurance company to "make it right." And here we are almost 2 months later with absolutely ZERO resolution! They are NOT working with me to "make it right." Nand is now threatening me that he an attorney to try and intimidate me with legal action! I decided to go above Nand and contact the corporate office. It took over a week to get anyone to even call me back and acknowledge they knew about the situation. They also stated they wanted to work with me and aren't exactly doing that either! They say they are willing to fix the truck....GREAT, THAT IS COVERED BY INSURANCE! WHAT IS MORRIES GOING TO DO TO "MAKE IT RIGHT" AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE BEEN THROUGH?!?! They now want to question my integrity and tell me that all of their employees have been strictly ethical. ANOTHER LIE! MORRIES IS AN UNETHICAL DEALER AND SERVICE CENTER, THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE CROOKS THAT BROKE IN AND STOLE THE CARS ON THE 11TH OF SEPTEMBER!

This spring, I bought a used Subaru Outback from Morrie's Golden Valley Cadillac. I'm overall satisfied with the vehicle but it's now nearly two and a half months later and I'm still chasing someone down to get the plates for the car. Attempts to get the issue resolved received an initial response but then there was no follow through on their end. I paid cash for the car, which has me wondering if that's left them with little or no motivation to close the loop on the plates. It seems like a simple thing that's a part of most car sales. Still, I've been left to chase someone at the dealership in hopes of getting this solved. Rather disappointing.
