Rebate issue that the dealer could have easily worked out with Ford Motor Company. The general sales manager refused to help. The sales manager stated that he could get nowhere with the person he was talking to because she was a woman.

Poor customer service in Service Department
The Service Engine light was coming on in my vehicle, so I brought it in for a diagnostic. I was told I needed a part that was on back order, but they would order it for me and let me know when it came in. A month later, I still hadn't heard from them, so I phoned to check in. Turned out they had the part, but had just failed to call me. I told them I was eager to get it installed because I was tired of having the Service Engine light on all the time, so they said I could bring it in that day and they would get it fixed. I brought it in at 1:30pm, waited 45 minutes, and was then told they would need to keep it overnight. They said they didn't have a loaner car immediately, but they would bring me home and call Enterprise to get in contact with me and bring me a car. Five hours later, I still had not heard from Enterprise and was trapped at home without a car, so I called Brookdale Ford back and was told Enterprise closed an hour ago, so it would have to wait until the following morning. At 7:30am the next day, Brookdale Ford called to say they were sorry I didn't yet have a car, but they would try to call another Enterprise. At 8:30am, an Enterprise guy showed up on my doorstep with no warning or call and said he would take me to get a rental. This was an enormous hassle and very poor customer service on Brookdale Ford's part. I understand that they prefer to use rental cars, but they're a CAR DEALERSHIP for heaven's sake: if a rental car isn't available, give me one off the showroom floor instead of trapping me in my house for 18 hours hugely inconvenienced. What a pain. When the car was finally done 24 hours after I first brought it in, I got in it to drive away and the Service Brake System light came on in lieu of the Service Engine light. Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere for that repair.

Alternator repair
My vehicle was towed in to Superior Ford to replace the alternator. Past service visits have been positive but this time when I was told the car was ready, I stopped in and they couldn't find my key until 20-30 minutes later.

new vehicle purchase
Drove by Atkin, one Edge in their lot, on to Mills in Brainerd, did not have match for us. Next day to old reliable Brookdale Ford. This will be I think my third purchase from you all, dating back to my first car; a used FALCON, 1970 or so. Had other vehicles over my driving years before coming back to Ford; Explorer, full size van and now the EDGE. Could not be happier with my decision and the buying experience. Thanks to Jeff Chalin, who followed up with personal service to familize me with the EDGE features. I am sure I will continue to have good service from Superior Brookdale Ford. Kudos to Dan for finance assistance and Mike for all the help.

Buying experience
We bought a 2013 escape after visiting many dealerships. Customer service was the most important piece of the entire deal. Joe and Matt were for most parts the reason why we decided to buy the car at Superior ford. Matt gave a detailed explanation of the price making the deal very transparent and offered a really good price. I highly appreciated this fact and built the trust which was missing in all the other places. Joe offered great service and helped close the deal with all the paper work. Joe followed up after the vehicle arrived and stayed back after hours the day we drove the vehicle out just to make sure we were taken care of!! Matt did an excellent job of walking us through all the features of the car ! Thanks a lot Joe and Matt !! The only thing which would have helped is to have some sort of tracking while the vehicle was placed on order and this is something for Ford company. With factory placed order and leadtime of 8 weeks it was very difficult to track or estimate the delivery dates as we got close to the estimated time of 8 weeks . Joe called us promptly as soon as the car arrived and helped to get the vehicle out of the lot as soon as possible. He even gave us an extra accident kit for my car though he could have just given 1kit for the car that we bought for my wife. The thoughtfulness says a llot and helps build a stronger relationship beyond just buying a new car. Overall a very great experience of buying at Superior ford and would come back to Superior Ford for future purchases.

Customer Service/Greeting
The folks in the Express Lane and the woman that rang me up were exceotional. I can not forget the young man that brought may car around after offering to have it washed, he was terrific, tracked me down in the new car showroom to let me know my car was ready. All were very upbeat and great moods which reflected on their comfort level with management and like of doing their jobs.
