I had a terrible experience here at Lupient Chevrolet.
I had a terrible experience here at Lupient Chevrolet. Avoid avoid avoid! I needed a new key fob for my Cruze. I was able to order one through OnStar and get it from Lupient Chevrolet. I ordered it Sunday evening and I received an email early on Monday morning from Rick Stewart, the parts manager in the Lupient Chevrolet parts department telling me that my order was ready. I then called Mr. Stewart and asked about getting the key fob programmed to my car. He told me that it could be programmed when I picked it up with a charge, which I expected. He said that I could stop by anytime and told me that I wouldn't need an appointment. I went to pick up the key fob and have it programmed the same day, yesterday afternoon. I pulled into the service center. I met Dana in Service. I told him that I was there to pick up a key fob and have it programmed to my car. He told me that I could go get the key fob from the parts department. I got it and brought it to Dana. He acted annoyed, like I was inconveniencing him. He said he'd try to find someone to program it... guilt tripping me. He said it would be about a half hour wait. I was going to go wait in the lounge before he asked if I'd ever been there before. No. So he'd have to put me in their system and he took my driver's license before saying it was going to add 15 minutes. Again saying it even more annoyingly. I finally go to the lounge and wait almost an hour before Dana comes to the lounge and tells me that they can't get it done. They've been trying and trying. Apparently Chevrolet's computer system is down everywhere, nationwide. He told me to come back the next day (today). He pointed to the parking lot and told me that my car was there. I went out there and didn't see it. I had to go get him and he came out to the parking to help me look for my car. He couldn't find it either. We finally found it, but not anywhere obvious. Also, the dealership sent me a text shortly after I got to the lounge with a link to keep track of my service. Well that only gave me an error. Worthless. I called before going back today. I wanted to make sure that Chevrolet's computer system was working. No one answered and I was sent to voicemail. I left a message expecting a call back. Then I received a text from Lupient Chevrolet: "This is Lupient Chevrolet. Did you have a question or need something? You can text us at this number." I waited for 40 minutes without a call back. I had replied to the text with no reply back. I called again and no one answered. I decided to just go there. It's about a half an hour drive for me. I got there and Dana acted surprised to see me. I asked if the computers were working today and said that they were. I gave him the key fobs and he begrudgingly told me he'd try to find someone to program the new key fob. The new key fob costs $200 alone by the way. Plus this programming. After another hour in the lounge Dana came to tell me that it was done. While I was waiting I was worrying about what the cost would be. I had called Mauer Chevrolet that is in Inver Grove Heights Minnesota and asked their service department how much they charge for my car and they told me $110. A little more than I expected. I go to the service counter with Dana and he presents me with a bill for $150. I told him that Mauer Chevrolet does it for $110 and I asked if they price match. He said no and asked me who told me that they charge that lower price. $40 lower. I said "they did. I just called them." He told me that they must have lower hourly rates for service and Lupient Chevrolet's hourly charge is $220. They must charge less and he can't help it. That's an excuse pulled out of thin air. Ridiculous. Mauer stated that it's a flat fee. I talked to Dana with this excuse. $40 is a lot of money. That's a big difference. Lupient Chevrolet charges 27% more for labor than Mauer Chevrolet I'm told. I explain that my time is valuable too. Having to wait the day before and go back today with a

I advise and do your research before purchasing a vehicle
I advise and do your research before purchasing a vehicle from Lupient Chevrolet. I bought a brand new Chevy equinox the day that I signed the papers they asked me to give them a five star rating. After they washed my vehicle from the factory, it came out full of scratches. Going over 33 miles an hour. The front windshield had a loud whistle to it and rear molding was coming off. It also came from the factory varying to the left a little bit, needing an alignment. Their service department has not called me back. I talked directly to a woman who said she would relay the message And complained to my salesman. He was in a texting conversation with me and then all sudden quit responding so no communication no answers. I feel like as soon as you sign the papers they’re done with you. I personally would not advise or refer a friend there and I will never buy another one from them myself.

We apologize Chad. GM warranty will not cover alignment after 5 months of ownership. If it would have been an issue at delivery that would be a different scenario, but 5 months of driving, especially around Minnesota road construction...the good news is an alignment is only 149.95!

Nancy, your significant other brought your vehicle to us for this issue and you were on the phone attempting to get a loaner. We do not have free loaners for vehicles that are not incapacitated, but rentals are available. The second visit took ten minutes to fix, so we again were not willing to issue a loaner since the repair was so fast.

I was sold a 2022 trailblazer with 15000 miles on it, in November 2024. In December 2024 the car overheated. It was repaired and in February the check engine light came on. It has been in the shop since the beginning of February and still in the shop. No eta for the part, i bought the car in November 2024 for $22000 and as of March 2025 they will only offer $15000. Rip off Mmm

The employees at Chevrolet Bloomington continually
The employees at Chevrolet Bloomington continually antagonized me and spread false claims that I wasn’t approved for a loan, despite clear approval through GMC Financial. Their incompetence and refusal to take accountability made the process of retrieving my deposit unnecessarily difficult. I eventually went to Chevrolet WBL, where I secured the exact car I wanted under the same loan terms, receiving respectful and professional service – a stark contrast to Bloomington’s handling of my purchase. The behavior at Chevrolet Bloomington fits the stereotype of shady car sales tactics, and even after I walked away, they persisted in lying about the situation. Ultimately, their dishonesty doesn’t matter – I’m now happily driving my new TRAX, the very vehicle they claimed I couldn’t get approved for. Initially, I was excited to purchase a specific car, having completed all paperwork. However, the financial representative’s unprofessionalism crossed the line when they made inappropriate remarks about my income and falsely accused me of forgery. Despite providing official pay stubs as requested, the rep scrutinized them, implying fraud. I later discovered that pay stubs weren’t even required. The entire experience was marked by arrogance and condescension, and when I decided to cancel the deal due to discomfort, the representative appeared clueless about their inappropriate behavior. Retrieving my down payment turned into another frustrating ordeal. The finance director delayed the refund until a family member, waiting outside, stepped in to demand the return. This experience left me shaken and disillusioned, having never encountered such disrespect and lack of professionalism in prior car purchases. I will never return to this dealership and strongly advise others to avoid them.

You were here a year ago. We are only responding to your false claims. In January of 2024, you tried to buy a Trax here, and the bank requested proof of income. You produced ONE pay stub several weeks prior, and the amount did not match what you claimed. You got upset when we asked for the required 3 MOST CURRENT paystubs. We never implied any fraud; we only relayed what the bank required. We gave you your deposit back, and you left. You posted a negative review back then, and we are not sure why you are posting now. We are glad you eventually got a vehicle. Your circumstances must have improved, and we are happy for you. Why you need to start trashing us at this point is beyond our comprehension.
