I purchased a used 2006 Kia Sorento from this dealership...
I purchased a used 2006 Kia Sorento from this dealership in November 2012. My initial experience was wonderful, Mike Danielson is a great salesman, remember, he is a salesman. We got the vehicle home and it was having some issues with bogging down when we accelerated or went up hills. I took it to my mechanic, he took off the engine cover and noticed there had been a used engine installed. I know I should have gotten the vehicle checked by a mechanic before purchase, which I did not, but I also feel this should be disclosed to me. Mike and Tom Kadlec's mechanic said QUOTE: "nothing is wrong with this vehicle" I replaced the O2 sensor and a Cam Shaft Sensor with in 6 months of owning it AND it still has a cam/crank coorelation error. Therefore my mechanic is suggesting replacing the whole timing system to ensure there is no further issue with this. Plus the timing belt tends to go on these motors at 80,xxx. My mechanic also found the check engine light has either been disengaged or the bulb in the dash is burnt out. Can't tell without ripping apart the dash, so for now, I live with out it, getting free checks at the auto parts store once every few months. When I contacted Tom Kadlec/Mike Danielson about this issue, he was great about having the vehicle checked for no charge, by their mechanics but didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Wasted my time/day. They did not assist me with the fees to fix the vehicle which I thought they should have at least helped with something since they sold me this vehicle under false assumptions. Because of the sensors being bad, the check engine light would have been on, (if working properly) and I would not have purchased the vehicle. Mike has told me they ensure that the vehicle is "safe" to drive before selling, but I don't feel this vehicle is safe with a check engine light disabled. What if other safety features fail, and we miss it, because the check engine light isn't working? He is a very nice man to work with until you realize "that's right, he is just a salesman", he did his job, got the sale. There is a reason he is nominated "Salesman of the Month" over and over. I will never puchase a vehicle from there again. They are junk. I don't recommend working with Mike either. He is just a typical salesman, and very good at it. He will tell you anything to get the sale.

No return business from me.
Purchased a 1999 CRV for my daughter. Vehicle and price were good. During the test drive I pointed out to the salesman that there was no coolant in the reservoir tank. He assured me that it had been checked out and there was no problem. Turned out that the radiator was cracked and leaking. They offerd to do the repair for $350. My regular mechanic did it for $400, didn't need to drive the extra distance to Rochester. I also found out it needed the timing belt replaced, total bill for both issues was over a $1,000. So the vehicle price was good, but you may need to add on $1,000 if you are buying a used vehicle. I sent a letter to the manager asking for 1/2 of the cost of the repairs, he offered $250, the cost of the radiator. I said that I would take the offer but would not return to Tom Kadlec Honda, this was over a month ago, still have not seen the $250. The manager had responded to my letter via email, I have replied to the manager and the salesman several times with no response from either. I own 3 Hondas, I will never go to Tom Kadlec again.

I have never had such a smooth transaction with a dealer as I did walking into Tom Kadlec Honda. Neal greeted me as soon as I walked in and took care of me from start to finish with my new Honda. He was up front and honest, and didn't waste any time like some other dealers in the area. He was very knowledgeable and the other staff were more than helpful also. Thanks for a great experience. Like they say, Neal's got the Deals!

Excellent experience
I found a 2011 Honda Pilot LX on Cars.Com at Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester, MN. I corresponded with Andy Gostomczik and he was extremely competitive in pricing the vehicle and offering a very fair trade value on my 2006 Pilot. The staff at Kadlec Honda were so helpful and genuinely committed to make the purchase an informative and enjoyable experience. I will definitely look to Kadlec Honda again for my next vehicle even though I am 240 miles away! I know it will be worth the trip!

A new way of buying new car!
An awesome car buying experience. Andy Gostomczik was amazing! I live in Minneapolis about 70 miles away from the dealership. I did not even set foot in the dealership. I had my car delivered to my home and everything went so smooth. The best car buying experience I ever had. I had already test driven the car but Andy was very friendly and offered all the help to make sure CRV was the right vehicle for me. He made sure all the paperwork was in order when the car was delivered to me. Mike (did not catch his last name) delivered the car to me and was really friendly and helpful. He paired my iphone with the car and took his time to explain everything, even though I was running 30 min late to take the delivery of the car. I 100% recommend Tom Kadlec Honda and Andy Gostomczik.

I'd recommend any friends and family purchase a car from Tom Kadlec, and specifically ask for Jake Anderson. Service was great, prices were compeptive, and I couldn't be happier. We'll be back for sure. (I accidentally chose 1 star on prior review...my sincerest apology....Jake/Kadlec Honda are definitely 5 stars in my book)
