Buyer

Was told by Scott he was getting a car ready for me too look at, to inform me later that the car I was interested in was sold in one hour.. very bad business practice

Great no pressure service

I’d like to say what a great experience I had here. Adam my salesman was great. I usually hate shopping for cars because of the high pressure. But there was none here. The car I wanted to look at was online but wasn’t on the lot as it was still being tuned up and still needed to be detailed. But the owner knowing I was looking to test drive it, went down to their repair facility down the street and brought it back for me to drive. Again there was no high pressure when I got back with the test drive. They told me exactly what still had to be done on the vehicle. I returned on Monday to do another drive. When I was done even though it still hadn’t been detailed I decided to buy it. I tell you at most dealers this is where it gets scary but not here. Usually your now bounced from the salesman to the financing department then the real high pressure starts. Talking numbers, terms, extended warranties, etc. I know that’s where they make a lot of money. But not here. I worked with Adam with the financing, he discussed extended warranties but again there was no pressure to do so. We discussed pros/cons. I opted not to and we moved on. I had wanted a back up camera but the vehicle didn’t have one so he recommended Daryl’s audio next door. Said if I talked to them and decided I wanted it that he’d make sure they took it there to have it installed for me while I was waiting on the car to be detailed and a few other things done to it over the next couple days. They did not have to offer that and it made me having to make a seperate trip to Daryl’s after the purchase. I simply went to Daryl’s and paid for it and then Galaxy took it over to them to have the camera installed for me. Lastly I was most impressed with their honesty. After I got the car home I discovered that the inside hatch back cover had a hole in it. I hadn’t noticed it all the times I looked at it. So I figured oh well I missed it so its on me and was going to find a used one myself. Well the next week I received a call from Adam who told me the part was on order and would be in the following week. He wasn’t aware of the issue either, he was just informed by his department about it after the fact and was ordered. Now they could have just as easily not said a thing and said oh well too bad he already bought the car. Adam called me when it came in, I took it to the shop and they fixed it in 10minutes. I can not recommend Galaxy Auto enough. They are someone I would gladly go back to and recommend to anyone. Thank you for the great experience!!!

Great no pressure service

My second vehicle from Galaxy Auto Place

When it was time to replace my old vehicle (which i purchased from Scott at Galaxy) i knew i needed to go back to Galaxy. I made a good decision! Joe at Galaxy was extremely helpful in taking the time to assist me on multiple occasions when finding a vehicle in my price range was at upmost importance. I had gotten discouraged, but Joe Gullo seen it through and i now own my second vehicle from Galaxy. Scott on my last truck and Joe on my new truck, Thank you guys!!! I really apprecxiate it!!!

My experience with Galaxy Auto Place

I purchased my vehicle on 3/1/19. It had a defective bearing that I had to explain to the tech very slowly in order for him to understand and once he did, he was able to identify the defective bearing and they did replace it. There was also a piece of molding that had cracked off of the door which was replaced as well. About a month later the steering wheel made noise from the boot at the bottom which they again didn't find until I had to explain the problem clearly. They greased it up and it stopped the rubber squeaking for about a month, then it came back, which I will deal with myself. The main issue that I am giving only two stars is because after about a month, I noticed the car was in an accident. I know this because, one, the headlight on the driver side was not exactly the same height as the passenger, and the only way they are not identically aligned is if the vehicle was in an accident. The second, being the molding around the driver side wheel well was cracked and it didn't stay clipped in. The third and most obvious is that the front bumper from the driver side to the middle of the bumper felt rough (as if it was repainted, using spray paint can, it had a texture to it, and it was not smooth like the passenger half of the bumper), it also had some obvious signs of damage that I didn't notice when I bought it. Last but not least is that the carfax report didn't show the accident. I will never buy from them again and would suggest nobody does either.

Easiest car buying experience ever!!

I was in need of a newer vehicle asap and Scott was able to put me in my new 2016 Jeep Compass High Altitude in a matter of days!! Scott listened to all my needs and concerns and he surpassed my expectations. If you're in need a new vehicle, please go see Scott, you will be very glad you did!!

Great place

As soon as my husband and I walked into Galaxy, we couldn't believe how much more comfortable we were, compared to the bigger dealerships we had just come from. I told Scott the cars we liked and they were pulled up for us to test drive. Once we decided to buy, Scott was great through the whole process. Scott was honest and not pushy at all. If you're looking for a car at a great price, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

New to me used car

Bought a 2017 AWD Dodge Journey. Worked the deal with Scott K. and this was such an easy and great experience. No pressure to buy, and he worked with us to get the best deal possible. Windshield on car was bad and he had that fixed for us. Would highly recommend this dealer, and the next time I need a new ride, they will be the first dealer I contact.

Purchased a 2013 Toyota Highlander.

Joe Gullo, Sabrina and the rest of the team at Galaxy Auto Place were true professionals. Easy buying process, no pressure to buy and most importantly they have quality cars. We were 400 miles away in New Jersey and everything was upfront and honest, they way business should be conducted. Highly recommend Galaxy Auto!

Excellent, easy going, low pressure purchase

I entered this facility on a Friday afternoon with an open mind and looking for a newer used car. I saw the vehicle I thought I would like from the street, and entered telling them I would like to check it out. Without a hesitation, I was given the keys and plates and told to give it a try. I then returned, asking about the warranty, services, etc. I was informed of all the options that were offered. I was glad I was not taken into a separate financial room and pressured to buy into a warranty or service package that I did not want. I returned on Saturday to let my family check out the vehicle and see what they thought. It passed. I let our sales man know that I would take the car and I would have the information to him a.s.a.p., and would be ready to pick up the car on Monday after work. I got all my information together, sent it via text. It was processed quickly. By 4 P.M. Monday, the car was washed, waxed, and detailed. This was a no hassle purchase of a vehicle.
