While shopping for a pre-owned late-model Corvette C8,
While shopping for a pre-owned late-model Corvette C8, Veterans Ford Tampa jumped into the mix. Worked with one of the sales staff at their sister dealership, Greenway Ford for about a week via phone, text, and email. We both agreed on the selling price and trade-in allowance. Only to find out the morning of my planned drive to the dealership that the C8 Corvette I was set to buy was being held "captive" by their sister dealership in Tampa, Veterans Ford. Veterans Ford didn't want to "release" the car to their sister dealership. This issue was never addressed by both the salesman and sales manager at Greenway Ford. They both gave me the impression that it was just a matter of getting the C8 Corvette from Tampa to their Orlando dealership. Needless to say, it was all time wasted. To rub salt in the wound, Veterans Ford wanted me to drive clear across to their location and buy the C8 Corvette directly from their dealership. Stir clear of both dealerships. Too bad I can only give one star as the lowest rating. I would go lower if one other than a star is available.

Gaijin, I'm sorry to read this review. However, I would like to clarify the details here. You contacted both stores and we agreed to sell you the vehicle and deliver it to you. You then stated that you would fill out the application and we held the vehicle for you. By the end of the day, you stated that you had purchased elsewhere.
