Extremely disappointing experience, especially with how my family was treated after the sale. We purchased a Nissan Z after negotiating a deal of approximately $38,000 out the door. We originally intended to pay for the vehicle, but the dealership encouraged us to use financing because we were told the dealership would receive money from the bank by financing the purchase. We agreed and put $2,000 down. Our understanding was that after the $2,000 down payment, approximately $36,000 would remain to be paid off, plus any applicable interest. When we later received the payoff information, we were shocked to see that approximately $38,000 was still owed. After reviewing the situation, I understand that there was a misunderstanding and that both sides could have handled parts of the transaction more carefully. We could have reviewed the paperwork more thoroughly before signing, and I am willing to acknowledge our responsibility for that. What turned this into such a terrible experience was how we were treated when we returned to the dealership asking for help. We were not demanding that the dealership accept all the blame. We wanted someone to sit down with us, acknowledge that there had clearly been confusion about the financing and down payment, explain exactly what happened, and try to work toward a reasonable solution. Instead, we felt that the staff became dismissive, disrespectful, and unwilling to seriously work with us. What upset me most was seeing how my mom was treated. She is 65 years old, taking care of two kids while her husband is currently in another country, and dealing with a purchase this large is already stressful. She came back to the dealership trying to understand what happened and find a solution. Regardless of who made what mistake, I believe a customer who just purchased a vehicle deserves to be spoken to respectfully and treated with patience. The saddest part is that I genuinely loved the car. I was extremely excited about purchasing the Z, and this should have been a great experience for our family. Even if the dealership ultimately could not give us exactly the resolution we wanted, this situation could have been handled professionally and respectfully. Instead, the attitude we experienced afterward completely changed how we felt about the purchase and the dealership. My advice to anyone considering buying a vehicle here is to carefully verify every number yourself and get every important promise or explanation in writing before signing anything. Check the out-the-door price, down payment, amount financed, APR, finance charge, optional products, and total of payments. Do not assume that a verbal explanation of the financing will necessarily match your understanding of the final paperwork. Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen during a complicated transaction. What matters is how a business treats its customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we were extremely disappointed with how this dealership chose to handle ours.

Amazing experience. Antonio was my salesperson. He was extremely helpful and professional. The dealership is very nice and everyone was very friendly. I have to admit I got a “killer deal”. I am a tough customer but I enjoyed the process of buying a car for a change. Lol

Title: Unacceptable Treatment, Hidden Add Ons, and Rushed Contract at Raceway Nissan I recently purchased a used Toyota Tacoma from Raceway Nissan in Riverside, (6030 Sycamore Canyon Blvd, Riverside, CA 92507), and my experience was unacceptable from beginning to end. My salesperson, Raul, was polite, but transparency was clearly lacking. We spent over 6 hours at this dealership for a simple used car purchase. By the time we were taken into the finance office with Charlie, we were exhausted — and that’s when things got worse. Inside the finance office, we were rushed through the contract with no meaningful opportunity to review the paperwork. It felt intentional. When I later reviewed the documents at home, I discovered multiple add on coverages and products that I did not authorize, did not request, and were never properly explained. These hidden add ons significantly inflated the final price of the vehicle. What made this experience even more concerning was the way we were treated as Hispanic customers. Based on what we observed, the level of attention, patience, and respect we received was noticeably different compared to how other customers were being treated. That type of inconsistency is unacceptable at any business, especially when making a major purchase. This dealership’s lack of transparency, the excessive wait time, the rushed signing process, and the questionable add on charges all point to a place that does not prioritize honesty or fair treatment. If you plan to shop at Raceway Nissan, I strongly recommend: • Refusing to sign anything without reading every line yourself • Declining all add-ons unless you explicitly understand and want them • Not allowing anyone to pressure or rush you My experience left me feeling misled, undervalued, and taken advantage of. Raceway Nissan needs to seriously improve the way they treat customers — all customers — and stop relying on pressure tactics and undisclosed charges.

Very disappointing experience at Raceway Nissan in Riverside on 9/22 regarding a warranty issue. We initially spoke with Marco, who was polite and tried to help. He consulted his manager, Marcos, about a California emissions warranty question. Instead of Marcos coming out, Yvette approached us and immediately became rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. She insisted the warranty information we had was incorrect and repeatedly stated there was “nothing they could do,” despite the warranty stating the dealership is responsible for required adjustments. When I used my hands while speaking—normal communication for many people—Yvette accused me of “putting my hands in her face,” raised her voice, and spoke in a threatening manner before walking away without resolving anything. When Marcos finally came out, his response was dismissive. My husband explained that he followed the dealership’s drive-cycle instructions and drove approximately 600 miles, yet the vehicle still failed smog. Marcos responded, “I don’t know what to tell you, bro. You’re going to have to drive another 500 miles.” This showed a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care. We were repeatedly told to “contact Nissan” and that it was not their problem, despite the warranty language stating otherwise. Our household owns multiple Nissan vehicles and planned to purchase another. After this experience, we will not be returning. Poor leadership, poor communication, and unacceptable customer service.

This corrupt service department added 3,000 MORE MILES to my car to get it out of warranty. My 2022 nissan Sentra battery died. It kept saying system malfunction so i took a photo of my dashboard and my mileage read 34,162 (still under warranty) i have photo evidence of this and my car sat there until the tow truck came. I got it towed the 5 miles to the dealership thinking ok great it’s still under warranty so whatever the issue is it’ll be paid for. My car gets dropped off and the service advisor liseth calls me and says that my car is no longer under warranty and a battery will be $375. She tells me that my odometer is reading 37,361 ! I told her she’s incorrect and that my miles are only at 34K. I come up here to speak with the manager Marcos to show proof of that and he doesn’t know how this could’ve happened. So now my car is out of warranty and we know these stupid Nissans are expensive to maintain. The manager offered to give me a free battery and of course he would since I’m sure his people are the ones who messed with my mileage so that i can be out of warranty. I also got a text from the sales department to sell my car since it’s high mileage right now 😒 this place put 3,000 miles on my car in a matter of minutes and no one knows what happened. How does my car mileage jump over 3,000 after it’s dropped off?! They tampered with it and then offered me a free battery when they got caught.

I am writing to express my frustration with the dishonest practices I encountered at Raceway Nissan. After finding a truck online, I reached out to Sales Manager Ryan Sanchez, informing him that I am a serious buyer with an 825 credit score, prepared to make a substantial down payment and finance the rest. I requested an out-the-door price for the vehicle, but was told they do not provide that information over the phone and insisted I visit in person. I told him I was from out of state and couldn’t visit in person. During our conversation, Ryan mentioned an additional $1,800 fee, which included $400 for nitrogen in the tires and other questionable charges. Despite my willingness to pay the full listed price plus taxes and registration, I was unable to obtain a clear out-the-door price after two days of attempts.
