The reviews would make you think these guys are straight

The reviews would make you think these guys are straight up people....They are not: they are not a class act. Their sales people are a bunch of non-professionals and the management doesn't keep deals it makes. If I make a business deal I keep it; that's a foreign concept to these guys. Do not trust this business. I was very interested in buying a truck this shop had, and talked by phone with three of their sales reps on a Saturday morning. Two said they'd call me back, but never did. I finally talked with the Internet Sales Manager, who seemed very competent, and she and I quickly struck a deal on the vehicle for their asking price. She said the Sales Manager would call me to finalize the details. He promptly called, just a few minutes later, and he and I confirmed we had a clear and unambiguous deal. He sent me the 'out the door' total for the truck, and sent me wiring instructions so I could send in the full cash payment as soon as the banks opened Monday. I offered to put a down payment on a card to secure the deal over the weekend, and was told it wasn't necessary--we had a deal and they would get the car ready for me to pick up. I made an appointment to pick up the car the following Tuesday and bought a ticket to fly down from Northern California to pick up the car. The Sales Manager knew I was buying an airline ticket to do the deal. Late in the afternoon that same day l got a text from him saying the deal was off: apparently the owner of the business had done a deal on the side with someone else for the truck, bypassing and not informing his sales staff, and they were backing out of the agreement we had. My airline ticket? I'm out $400. I guess I'll get credit from Alaska Air for another trip down there: I can't imagine why I would want to go...certainly not to do business with West Coast Auto Sales. This is not an outfit you ever want to do business with.

Was going to purchase the CX-50 that was listed for $30,800 and they said I had to pay $5600 on top of that price for a bunch of not needed warranties and GPS. Wouldn’t let me opt out. So it was listed as a good price on cars.com, but only because they didn’t know the truth. I spent precious time and gas to go 86miles in traffic. Serious to buy, but it became overpriced. If they won’t sell it for this price, they shouldn’t be able to list it for this price. Buyer beware!

I saw a car advertised for $22,888, went to the dealer to check it out & was to buy it but they wouldn't sell me the car unless I bought 3 premium packages totaling to $28k & change. I said forget it & walked out. After a 45 min drive home I rec a call from the dealer asking if I was still interested in the car. I laughed & informed them what transpired & they were false advertising.

Went in looking for a used car with a price of a little

Went in looking for a used car with a price of a little over 23,000. The worker towards the end said there added on fees would bring the total up to about 30k or more. The salesman brought out his manager with a bad attitude and said he wasn't going to lower those fees so we take the car as is or we aren't getting a car. Decided to walk out and I'm glad I did. Don't fall for the low price. They get you with the added fees and it's not worth it. You're better off looking for a vehicle elsewhere.

I'm very disappointed to be having to leave a bad review

I'm very disappointed to be having to leave a bad review being that the good reviews are what made this dealership an option for me. I called in about a 2022 Bmw 2 Series 228i and a few other cars I noticed were available and had some questions considering I am a few hours south and my cosigner is in FL. Rami took my call and told me to go ahead and narrow my search down and then call back. I did just that and a few days later called back after settling on the BMW and he suggested a backup which was comparable to my second option at another dealer. He was very reluctant to give me a number of what it would cost out the door and gave me the salesman pitch about needing to be there in person for that( I'm in B2B sales with friends in auto finance back in FL) so I asked for at least a round about # since my job would be covering the car payment and I needed to know something before driving a few hours from Point Loma SD. He said that with clear coat, gps, alarm, registration, taxes and processing it would be about 30K. I found that a little high for a car listed at $22,888 (I had already figured out taxes) so asked if he could "speak with his manager" to lower it just a little and he yea yea'd me off the phone. I never heard back. the car sold two days later and I was never offered my back up choice. THANK GOD they didn't call. I found the same car with a premier package at Nissan of Kearny Messa for 1K more but they were able to quote me with the out of the door price within hours! It included everything Rami had mentioned and was only $27,300 out the door. They literally laughed when I told them about the $30K. The low price gets your attention but the goal is to get someone physically in the door to make it harder for them to leave without signing something or find something comparable for a better less inflated price. If you are a good negotiator this place might work for you. If not you're better off going somewhere else. I'm looking forward to upgrading to an SUV next year at the Nissan Dealership.

The sales person was very nice.

The sales person was very nice. The dealership was horrible. They tried to bait and switch my by adding almost $5,000 to the price advertised on their Cars.com listing. Terrible experience. I drove 55 miles to test drive a truck for nothing. I would never do business with these people.

The price listed is not the price they charge you when wanting to buy from them. They have non-optional add-ons that mark-up the price by 4k to 5k more.

4k markup on all cars!!!! Thumbs Down.

Went in, they wanted $4,000 markup on all the cars they listed. Bad dealership, stay far away. The service is amazing tho, but doesn't matter when the owner wants to rip people off.
