First time customer

This was our first time doing business with Gilleland Chevrolet, and this will definitely not be our last! Though we just bought a new 2023 Chevy Blazer, it will be awhile before we are in the market for a new vehicle. We were looking to replace a Chevy with another one, though we were unsure with what. There was not a lot of inventory in our area, so we put in an inquiry with Gilleland, 90 minutes south. Jason got back to me right away and we started talking about the Traverse and he also suggested the Blazer. Jason is very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with setting an appointment. We set the appointment and Silas greeted us as we walked in the door. Silas asked us questions about what features we are looking for and our price point. He pulled up for us to test drive a Blazer, Traverse, and Silverado. Though after driving the Blazer, we knew that is what we wanted, but wanted to compare the three. Nothing wrong with the Traverse or Silverado, they just did not meet our current and future needs. We threw a lot of questions at Silas, and he answered them quickly and competently! He is a real professional and knows the products and features very well! We came to an agreement on price and terms, and then we worked with Christian to sign papers and Silas handed us our keys! In three hours we went through the entire process! Very low stress and no pressure to do anything but make an informed decision! And Silas did a great job getting us to the finish line! Thank you team for putting us in a great Blazer!

Bait and switch beware

I was ready to put money down on a 2023 car. First, the salesman said yes i could and if i changed my mind i would get my money back. Then after i put money down, he said sorry its not refundable! Be wary about this place! Its not the first time i have had a bait and switch here.

This is something that we just don't do. I cannot figure out what your name is so I can't pull the information from our system but this is 100% not something we do.

Ben was good to work with.

Ben was very helpful and competent. He didn't try to upsell me, because it was clear that I knew what I needed. He gave me what history there was available on the maintenance of the vehicle, and didn't try to gloss over the fact that the documented maintenance was kind of slim. I would gladly work with him again.

Fantastic experience all around

Great experience all around. I love my new traverse. Staff at the dealership were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful with finding me the car I wanted. I would highly recommend!!

Bad experience/each interaction

After I purchased the vehicle I noticed heavy shaking, a popping when turning, and the 4 wheel drive was not working. I contacted the service they said that it was normal, when then brought the vehicle in to be seen and the gillie land techs stated they didn?t see a problem. So we took their word, we drove the vehicle a few more weeks took it in for an oil change and got a long list of services that need to be tended to. The sales person I bought the vehicle from assured me that all the vehicle maintenance requirements have been tended to, which was a lie. Not only did the transmission fluid have to be changed but the fluid for the transfer case needed to be changed out as well. After calling multiple times with a concern they throw me off until I spoke with management. I came in and explained to the manager and they didn?t want to help but I stressed the fact of me bringing the vehicle back to the dealership multiple times and being told that their was nothing wrong, At that point he agreed to help replace that driver side control arm which was appreciated but the fact of having to get the run around until I had proof of what was wrong with the vehicle for them to accommodate selling a customer a defective vehicle. The whole service department looked upset, apparently because we were getting the help we deserved, but the wouldn?t help with anything else like the motor mis fires and the other issues that should?ve been resolved.

We are glad it ended up being taken care of Trenton. Not all Used vehicles are going to work like new. Unfortunately, we cannot catch everything when we run a used vehicle through the shop before selling. Our price on used vehicles includes awareness for anything that may need to be serviced. My Equinox Journey at Gilleland

My daughter introduced me to Bryce Wurzer 10 years ago and he introduced me to my first Equinox. I just can?t express how pleased I was with that vehicle - it ran many many mile without a hitch that wasn?t immediately addressed by Gilleland. I was sneaking up on 200,000 miles and although the car was still running great I started the process with Bryce to purchase another Equinox. This is not a fast moving process these days so did all initial work over the phone - picked out my color and made a down payment - and just waited for the call that the car was in. The day I picked it up was absolutely seamless- so professional and I felt so well served! My new Equinox is a zippy perfectly sized vehicle for me and if it?s as great a product as my last one I will be buying another down the line - end of story!! Click

I took a 'new to me' vehicle for an oil change & an inspection for possible issues to be aware of. The work was done satisfactorily. Since maintenance history is unknown, several services based on mileage were suggested for the near future. That was appreciated. All staff were courteous and competent.
