Service Dept. is HORRIBLE

I am extremely disappointed in the service that I received on yesterday August 22nd. I brought my vehicle in for an issue that arose after i only came in for an oil change on 8/11/23. I had an appt. at 7:30am and I arrived at 7:27am. I DID NOT leave there until 10:37. They could not figure out the problem and this was known early on. My time was wasted and I have to make a return visit once the parts come in. I was told that they could figure out the issue by one service rep and I was told there was a recall on my vehicle by another service rep. I was told that my vehicle would be washed and DRIED and of course that DID NOT HAPPEN! I was most OUTRAGED about the fact that a SWEATY VALET DRIVER WAS IN MY VEHICLE! HE pulled up with sweat dripping off him and in my seat, console etc... I was absolutely disgusted!!! Because COVID 19 PROTOCOLS are relaxed; does that mean we are not practicing safe hygiene and safety for our customers??? No placemats, no seat covers etc... I live in Bronzeville; not around the corner! Please update your customer service like you have cosmetically updated your dealership! Erik Garcia, Chevy Thomas, they were amazing salesman. They made sure I was being kept in the loop of what was happening with my loan, they showed extreme patience going back and forth handling multiple customers as the frenzy was going on here. Excellent service, I will be back to do business in the future.

Watch out !!!!

WORST!!! Was in the market for a new car, was guaranteed top dollar on trade,and lowest prices(match) any offer. Well the advertised price on their own website was marked up 4 k even after I showed them? xxx?? 4500 below what another dealer gave me for trade. All the showed me was pmt amount for new vehicle, no bottom line number until I did the numbers myself!!! When I showed him he said "well we have a market adjustment policy" terrible place(scammers)

Car prospect pointlessly pitifully 👎

Terrible Service 👎Pushy salespeople 👎They do not take no for an answer. Not worth the trip if you live in the city. I left there of headache 😫

I am only giving World Hyundai in Matteson one star

I am only giving World Hyundai in Matteson one star because if I don't,l can't write a review. They don't even deserve one star. I brought my 2022 Hyundai Sonata in for Scheduled oil change at 1000 miles. The next day it started running poorly,l checked the oil, there was none. Had it towed to the dealership,they said it was a faulty filter. I didn't buy that because there was no sign of a leak in the driveway or on the engine. Brought it in again yesterday for scheduled 15,000 oil change. On the way home the oil light came on. Checked the oil and again no oil. This time they sent a tech to my house with a 5 quart jug of oil. He put it in, said everything was okay and left. Also the lady checking in before me at the service department said that she was there because she has her oil changed there and they didn't put the oil cap back on. If They can't get an oil change right, how can you trust them with any service. Reason enough to stay away from World Hyundai in Matteson.

The worst dealership ever they have poor communication and poor service plus u ask to speak to a supervisor and they don't allow u too..I'll never recommend anyone here they lie to u

Matt Duering was professional and personable.

Matt Duering was professional and personable. We were at the dealership less than an hour and Matt worked with us to make our car payment fit our financial needs. Matt was direct and did not try to sell us on anything we didn't want/need. I wish I could have this interaction with other people in the sales industry.

I bought a used 2017 Hyundai Sonata 2 years ago, and the engine failed on me. I took the vehicle to a mechanic and they informed me the engine was bad and I would need to get it replaced. But due to the milage the car it is still under warranty with the dealership. So when I took the car to the dealership they told me my car was fine and released it to me. A few days later the car kept jerking while on the highway with MY SON in the car. I could no longer drive the my car to work or anywhere. I called the service department again and the said my car is now out of warranty. My other post World Hyundai replied my car wasn't under warranty because of the milage but that was a LIE. I have proof it was and they confirmed it at that time. I have multiple family members that can confirm this entire situation and they will also voice our side of this situation. I'm making this long review because before you all go shopping for a car you need to be aware of the business practices going on at this dealership. I lost a lot, and I don't want to see anyone else going through the same.

If I could give 0 stars I would!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Sales is fine but that service dept is completely trash! I would NEVER EVER buy another vehicle from there. Nobody knows anything and Nobody cares. Save yourself the time and anger and just go to Toyota next door or infiniti. I wish I could give this 2018 vehicle back from all its problems
