Gary was very respectful and professional. I was able to get my car while I was working. He was consistent and provided all the applications electronically. No waiting or hold ups. The place looked clean and organized as well. And of course I love the car.

We were very pleased with the used Subaru we purchased

We were very pleased with the used Subaru we purchased and the customer service we received at Gravel. Dave Novik was very helpful and honest during the sales process and followed up with us quickly with any questions we had. Upon leaving the dealership with the car, we realized the A/C wasn't as cool as it should be, and immediately called Dave. He called us back quickly and arranged for service appointment options for us. We brought the car in the next week, and after diagnosing that the compressor had to be replaced, Garavel covered the entire cost, and now our kids have a car that not only came with new tires and brakes, but now has a new air compressor. We're all very happy with this experience and highly recommend Garavel sales and service deptartments!

I have been leasing Subarus from Garavel for over 20 years and have loved each experience so I keep coming back for more. In the past I worked with Miles Shapiro who was amazing to work with and an equally amazing human. For my last couple of car leases, I worked with Dave Nowik and he is extremely knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is seamless and is there for you for any issues or questions you may have. Dave is truly working for the customer and is transparent and there are no surprises or hidden agendas. His number one goal is customer service and customer satisfaction at he certainly displayed that with me and is there for you even after you drive off the lot with your car. I started with the Garavel Subaru website. Where I found it easy to compare models and trim options online. After finding what I wanted online I visited the showroom on a Saturday after work. Stephen greeted me and helped me choose between the models in inventory and answered my financing and pricing questions. Even though it was close to closing I was able to test drive of the Legacy I was interested in. I decided to purchase the Legacy on Monday morning and took delivery Tuesday evening. It is a pleasure to deal with the folks at Garavel. And thanks to Rudy for making the delivery a smooth experience. There was a minor cosmetic defect in a side panel, Garavel promptly arranged to pick up the car and had it corrected. Thanks

After failing to make a deal at a few other dealerships, I expanded my search radius, and I am glad I did. I called Garavel on a Saturday and I was lucky enough to get Byeong to answer the phone. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide all of the information that I was requesting. Feeling good about the vehicle, I placed a deposit and took the car home 2 days later. It was the best car buying experience that I have had.

Dave is a real gem!

Dave is a real gem! Knowledgeable, polite, but never pushy. I came in with an old Subaru looking for a new one. The trade-in experience was as smooth as silk. Subtracted a couple hundreds from the KBB instant offer, but that’s fine. Nobody’s used car would be showroom ready I guess. The buying experience was also great. Unlike some other salespersons who would do whatever to lure you in for a test drive, Dave first of all gave me an OTD as requested. Once I was there, he guided me through multiple test drives. No exaggeration, no intrusive question, nor urging for a decision. What’s more, after we got a deal, he would still patiently explain to me how to setup the vehicle to ensure smooth transition. That’s how you make a sale through professionalism!

I've been leasing cars for over 15 years from this dealership, Gary has been a delight to work with. He is very professional, attentive to the details and very knowledgeable. This time we leased the all electric Solterra. He took the time to go thru all the features and made sure we understood everything about how to charge the vehicle both at home and at a charging station. He responds quickly to all emails and stays in contact after receiving the vehicle to make sure you are completely satisfied.

I will never buy another subaru after this experience.

I will never buy another subaru after this experience. I purchased a used 2011 OB with low mileage in late 22. I have had nothing but problems with it. It sounds like a tank and rides like a 40 year old vehicle with massive alignment issues (it is a 6 cylinder), and sputters going up a hill like its struggling for air -despite oil changes and filter changes. We paid cash. I had driven it approximately 6 months and less than 20K miles (I had previously called with issues, but of course no return due to CT 3000 mi laws - surprise surprise). Back brakes fell off in April 2023. Back brakes and rotors were done, calipers replaced. September 2023 front brakes and rotors were done, still shaking. Alignment done 2x, tire balancing. There was an issue with a tire leak. It couldn't be plugged (even though there was minimal tread wear. There were four plugs in this "certified" preowned.) I should have known better when after paying CASH, literally CASH, and sitting for several hours for them to take it to their other center for "servicing," and it wasn't even cleaned. Now, I am left with a vehicle that struggles to go between 40-60, shakes, has strut issues and all I drive are clean highway and main roads. No offroading with this piece of junk. Pun intended: steer clear of preowneds from this dealer. Less than 40k driven. Disappointment Level: High

Last year(2023), I and my son decided to try leasing the car first, before buying. The sale person Gary Baumann provided us with an excellent service, so we started driving the brand new car from April 26th. However, in about 1 month, we were so surprised to hear the strange noise like whistle and some smells coming out when heating or air conditioner were on. I called the service and was transferred to Ken, with whom I made a check-up appointment. Nothing was found at that time. But, unfortunately, the issue was becoming worse, and I called the service again. They wanted me to drive with someone, which did not make a sense at all: I am not a specialist and explained that the noise comes and goes, and it is difficult to say when it will be be heard again...They also checked for the smell and said that all is okay. I left again, but had to bring the car to service a third time, and brought my son as a witness. Ken and other person from the office, who introduced himself as a manager(I did not see him, however, among any managers on pictures), started blaming me and pointing out that this car is not for me, I have to give it back and that , nobody, except me ,complained about anything.They spoke in a humiliating, offensive manner to us, instead of offering any resolution, because the issue is still there. Today, on 05/30/24, I came for a complimentary car wash offered to me in the card I received by mail due to my B"day.. I made an appointment in advance for 9:30 am and was there on time. I also have mentioned, that when I will bring my car for tire rotation (at 6,000 miles), I still want them to check again for the cause of noise which never disappeared and smell is still present. He started screaming at me that nobody will do anything for me, and this topic is closed. Also, as he said, he does not want to talk to me, or serve me anymore, and gave me the voucher for a free service at the car wash down the road, instead of service at a dealership.Another person, Jerry, who called himself manager as well, started talking to me the same offensive way. I asked for the owner's Mr. Paul Caravel's contact information, but he refused to provide. I left and visited the car wash from the voucher they gave me, however, did not risk to leave my car there and brought both voucher BD invitation back to Jerry and suggested they can wash their car there for free themselves, instead of me. I am retired senior, during my life I owned and drove a different cars , including more expensive , such as Mini, Toyota, etc. I never complained about any issues with the cars and was so happy with a fully respectful and caring services at a dealerships. The service I received at the Subaru in Norwalk, is outrageous, comparable to the Dan Perkins in Milford, with whom I was already in contact. Hopefully, the owner will see my message and will take some measures to resolve the issues to a full customer's satisfaction, as it supposed to be.
