I especially appreciated Joe's "educational" approach to sales as his information mirrored my previous research. A hard sell style would have driven me out of the lot. Decided on a used Forester in what seemed like minutes and everything happened rapidly after that.

his was my first time buying a car and I found this dealer by chance. Hearing stories about how awful buying used cars can be, I was prepared for the worst but met the best. It was a great experience. April my sales person was kind, friendly, and patient as I changed my mind and went around in circles. She worked with me on some special circumstances. She listened, made suggestions, and let me decide. She didn't push and pressure. Jeff drove the car and I over to an independent mechanic of my choice to get it inspected. He was very friendly and helpful. The nobody at the dealer had any problems with my request, either. The mechanic found a few minor areas that needed service (this was a 6 year old car with 80k miles so it wasn't a surprise). But no major surprises, and there were no discrepancies with the service record Garavel showed me earlier. I worked through finance with Tom. I had no idea about the process, little credit history and only an out-of-state, paper license to certify my license renewal. Still, he was patient, explained the process, worked with me, and never rushed me as I took my time reading through the papers in detail. There was a bit of negotiation but I ended up walking away satisfied. During the process Lulu kept me company in the waiting room. I was also confident in the car. The dealer provided a warranty, carfax, and showed me the service records of what they worked on when it arrived (belts, fluids, a/c, checks, etc). The price of the car reasonable. KBB checked out. What I found on autotrader in neighboring towns was priced similarly. Some a bit more. Some a bit less. I decided to buy at Garavel because of the confidence they gave me in the car, service work, warranty, and the peace of mind everyone gave me. I can't recommend this dealer and its team more highly.

We brought our 2013 Outback in for service and decided at the last minute to trade it in for a new one. We walked out less than 24 hous later.with a 2017 outback. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and no nosense.

Aside from the new business model Tesla has shown the world, there is one other: good old fashion friendly customer service and low pressured sales. Garavel does this and I implore you to see for yourself. We looked at a half dozen auto manufacturers solutions for our need to transport and the height of the car was critical so keep in mind we could have easily opted for a new BMW, Mercedes, or Mini for price was not our main driver. In fact we looked at all those solutions and in the process realized that the "luxury Euro market" has such a misunderstanding of their customer needs they don't even listen to the customer. I won't belabor the point but can say without a doubt we made the right choice by going to Garavel. Nicole at Garavel and the whole dealership sold us on the importance of kindness, courtesy and good listening skills. Jose in finance was equally as personable, effecient, and handled our corporate purchase needs without flaw. Attributes none of the other dealerships exhibited! May they continue to prosper and keep up the soft skills of listening and meeting the customer where they are at.

Great dealership and Gary Baumann is a great sales pro. No pushy sales pitch and easy to deal with. I got everything so wanted and I've had great follow up. I love the car -- my third from Garavel. Sales process was incredibly easy: I completed the entire sale in two quick visits to the showroom for a test drive and finalizing the sale after completing an online credit application. Never bought a car so quickly and easily. Amazing.

Sam did a great job in getting us into the right vehicle. Knowledgeable, hard working ,and very easy to work with Jose explained everything to us and got us in and out.
