This dealership is what gives used car salesmen a bad name. My 20 year old daughter and her 80 year old Grandma went here after my daughter did her research... on buying her first used car. Found a great price on Car Guru so they went to the dealership. Well, the price they advertise is NO where near the price that she paid. Unfortunately I was not with her and she didn't know how to negotiate. Shame on McGrath Honda. They added on an $800 handling fee for a used car which is BS. They also added an $1800 theft protection device which according to them they put on all their used cars. Funny, other dealerships charge $300-400 for this same feature. Can you say price gauging???? Unfortunately she signed the contract and was stuck paying $2700 OVER the sticker price. I went back a week later and dealt with Andrey a sales manager after multiple emails to her salesman Dave with NO response. I also emailed the GM with NO response. After I threatened reporting them to the attorney general on price gauging did I get some kind of response. Ended up getting the $800 back(still waiting for check) but that took about 3 hours of my time. I am still reporting their practices to the attorney generals office. This dealership is by far the worse I have ever dealt with.
My experience at Mcgrath Honda was fantastic! Alex Siapno was a pleasure to work with. Easy to talk to and was able to suprise my wife with the exact... Pilot she wanted! I felt everyone was very honest and upfront from the beginning of the process with no hidden fees. I appreciated the ethical and honest business practices at Mcgrath City Honda. I will definitely come back in the future to work with Alex again.
Vlad was a great rep who made the lease purchase very enjoyable. He’s very knowledgeable about cars! Alex was equally great to work with! Thanks, guys!
The WORST Service Department! I made an appointment for an oil change and a software update. When I get there I’m greeted and told that he would need to... get me an advisor because he works for the express. Then JEREMY SANCHEZ approaches me to tell me that they would NOT be doing the software update because I need to leave the vehicle. I said that I really need this done today and I had made an APPOINTMENT to get this done. He told me to make ANOTHER appointment and that I would need to leave the car the WHOLE day. So I went ahead and made another appointment but after leaving I went to Honda on Grand and they were able to take care of my software update and oil change - No appointment needed. Needless to say that I’m NEVER going back. Oh and my confirmation number in case they want to look it up is X01MF17VRN.
SO disappointed....Had appointment and they called while we were in the car on the way...when we got there nobody knew who/why we were there. We drove... two used cars...both filthy...they didn't seem to have cleaned them. We asked for information from salesman when we left...he never even called back. We drove quite a distance for nothing...
DO NOT GO HERE! I am disappointed to say that I did not have a good experience here. It took over 6 hours and too much negotiations to end up still not... getting my payments where I wanted them. Scott Gould was my "salesman" since we were referred by a friend. HUGE MISTAKE. He become very irritated when I asked about a tear in the tire, rust on the rims, and the brakes. He told me to go to Walmart and buy spray paint to do it myself! He insisted that the brakes were in great condition and pressured me to get the vehicle certified for an extra $3000!!! Unfortunately this was my first car and I feel like I was ripped off. My 2017 Honda Civic now has to get NEW BRAKES at only 18,000 miles. I even texted Scott multiple times and he never answered. Here a pictures of the brakes and the text messages. I will be reporting this dealership to Honda Corporate as well.
Stay away please..a $15,000 car advertised on their website gets a $6000 add on with their so called bogus fees...(final $21000) I told the man that he... must of added wrong...they persisted I left - Happily with my cash on hand..They pretend to help you...Look out....
Absolutely appalling customer service after I bought my car. When I purchased my car a year ago I initially had good customer service from Junior who... I bought my car from. However, for some reason it doesn't appear my car ever came with the wheel lock key. I just discovered this now, as I've only had the tires rotated once so far (at another dealership that uses a master wheel lock key, not the customers, so this didn't come up). I was given the run around by a sales manager Andre who told me the other dealership must have lost it, so I asked to speak to another customer representative who was Dana. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever received, she repeated information that I already knew, and then was very accusatory stating " you bought the car a year ago, so why didn't you confirm at the time of purchase where everything was"? This is ridiculous to me, as at the time I wasn't aware I needed a special key lock as I had asked for the wheels not to be locked (this was never something I've needed with previous cars, and I had asked that it be removed prior to purchasing). She seemed more concerned about blaming me (there is no way I would have removed this key lock from the car, as I had never needed it until I went to get my tires rotated a second time, which since it's every sIx months was a year after purchase), versus trying to help me solve the problem. Even though it was a year later, I would expect to get reasonable customer service. I would never purchase a car from this dealership again, horrible experience. I would recommend downtown, the service manager that I spoke to there was incredIbly nice and understanding. I’ve also now come to find out that the dealership should have registered any wheel lock key with Honda, in case the lock ever went missing (which they clearly never did).
They do provide a year of car wash which is great to have .And they are really hospital too. They offer cars at a really affordable price which makes buying... a car,for a guy like me a whole new experience
