Hands down the worst car buying experience I ever encountered. I purchased a used vehicle and there was a problem with my passenger seat, it just wouldn’t... recline. I was promised that it would get taken care of and when I brought it in they said I had to pay for it. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE THEY’Re crooks and liars.
Recently returned a lease that I originated at McGrath Honda. The dealership sold me an excessive damage waiver at a cost of roughly $20/month that would... waive up to $7,000 in damage when I return the vehicle. Several months before the end of my lease I called McGrath and spoke to Igor (said he was a leasing manager) to ask what I needed to do to address the few dings and scratches I had. He told me to just return the vehicle when scheduled to and the waiver would cover it. I asked him to send me a copy of my policy (could not find it with my original documentation). He said he would but I never received it. Long story short...I was billed for the damage that was supposed to be covered through this policy. Honda financial informed me that I would have needed to file a claim prior to returning the vehicle for it to be covered (but they could find no record of my coverage). When I called McGrath again to find out why I was given incorrect information they said they would have someone from their finance department call me. They never did. Repeated calls for them to mail or email a copy of my policy have gone ignored (I moved out of state so have been unable to go in person). I am starting to believe they pocketed the money I paid for the damage waiver and never submitted the policy premiums.

Steer clear of the service department 55,000 miles on the vehicle (purchased at this dealership) losing power mid drive. Continuous issue on every trip.... Dealer somehow unable to duplicate it. Took vehicle in three times. Took me for $200.00 in unnecessary repairs, time off work. A serious safety issue – Honda & dealer not concerned, "nothing they can do". Bought Honda because of brand reputation. Never again. Read reviews on other platforms... "could not duplicate" is their standard answer.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had in my life in the name of customer service. Went to buy a used car here and wasn’t expecting such a... disrespectful treatment from the main manager. If they don’t like your point of view they will make sure to personally insult you. Racist people. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Be very careful of the used car side. Their marketed prices online are not necessarily the prices they are willing to sell the car far. There are additional... fees they are not honest about or willing to detail. In negotiations, the numbers did not add up and at times it seemed they reduced fees one place and added more in another. They are not always upfront in their marketing. My daughter and I drove 3 hours to see the car, which we confirmed availability ahead, just to arrive and find out the car was in the shop and not ready for a test drive. The salesman provided over the top service during our visit, yet when we started to talk finance things went sour. Multiple times promises to return phone calls and provide email information was not followed through without my prompting. They were totally disrespectful of my time and the distance we drove to come see the vehicle. They drug me along for several hours onsite and almost a week after I left just trying to get final numbers. They don't provide all the information even when requested until I pressured them. Certain requested parts of the deal were never provided at all. Finally, I was an out of state potential customer and the issue was discussed upfront, yet when we arrived at the negotiations table, it seemed no effort was given to listen to the situation or check the numbers provided to accommodate for the abnormal sale. No attention to our discussions were provided until I followed up. We did not purchase partly due to the customer service.

We finally drove the car home at a good deal. The process took way too much time and we got charged for the accessories package from the dealer which were... unexpected.

i came in and they changed the timing belt, which was not necessary, and it was very, very expensive. the dealer took advantage of me and that was nit... fiar at all
