I have very mixed feelings on this dealership.

I have very mixed feelings on this dealership. My girlfriend and I bought two used cars at the same time, each with very different experiences. We worked with Martin who was great from a sales perspective and we both feel like we got a good price on our cars. For my purchase, I would have given 5 stars if I didn't experience what she has been going through with her purchase, but I also didn't have to bring my car back for service. For me, financing was fine and pretty normal transaction. In her case, I think she's going to rate 1 star as there's been issues for weeks on just getting the financing through her credit union. Also, she brought her car in for their warranty service and it's not like other BMW dealerships we have worked with in the past. So far, her car has been longer in service than her own possession and her service advisor is poor at providing updates, if any. The one saving grace is she was able to get a loaner car even for purchasing a used car, but the service center has a lot of work to do. Also, we received complaints from her credit union with respect to Steve, the finance director treating her long time bank very poorly and being disrespectful. His behavior lacks professional and has no place in business. In summary, you may be able to buy a good deal here but I would look elsewhere for service.

We brought our suv in for a transmission issue.

We brought our suv in for a transmission issue. The staff set us up with a nice rental that fit our family size and needs. Keith, in the service department, kept us up to date on the progress of our vehicle's repairs. He also worked on our behalf with the warranty provider to get our vehicle back on the road. I will be using BMW of Carlsbad for all my vehicle service in the future.

Bjern Larson does not have good customer service skills

Bjern Larson does not have good customer service skills He doesn’t answer his phone and doesn’t reply to voicemail messages He called to give me an estimate and never told me my car was going to stay an extra day Then after calling Sales at 5 pm the next day to ask if I could go pick up my car I was told that Bjern was gone for the day I called the next day and again tried another phone number to track him down and he said oh your car is staying here until Tuesday bc we had to order parts He never called me as a courtesy to let me know that my parts were ordered and that my car was staying longer
