They did nothing!!!!!!!!!!
it started March 13th..and ended yesterday...yep..they had my car for about 34 days. Chevy was out for money, my warranty company agreed to pay over 4 grand to fix my car but chevy insisted the repairs cost over 6 grand. They told me that they didnt know why my warranty company came up short and that I would have to pay the difference, almost 2 grand if i wanted my car fixed. The warranty company told me exactly what happened. Chevy was given three options to have my car repaired and they chose the one to make some extra money off me. They already got me for about $600 dollars when I picked up my un repaired car because they said I had to pay for the cost of them taking my trans out and taking pics and sending them to the warranty company and then putting it back in along with trans fluid.. Im actually surprised that I even went along with it, but by then I just wanted my car back. They had given me a bum loner with out of date tags on it, but it got me to and from work so..yeah but other than that I feel violated and robbed. Never dealt with a warranty company before ,so I didnt know what to expect nor did I question the time of back and forth between the two companies, chevy said they were a little behind schedule. But as it turns out, the warranty company was most transparent and forthcoming with valuable info. I also kept every text that I had from all correspondence with chevy's service advisors. This is not over, not by a long shot!!!!, Oh forgot to mention when I picked my car up the battery was dead, so they used a jump box to start my car.. They forgot to tell me my battery was now bad..had to pay $292 bucks for new battery minus core charge the same xxxx day.. UNIVERSAL CHEVY OF WENDELL ...never again will this happen...y'all suck.. lesson learned for me, always trust ur gut...I should have never opted for convenience, seeing that I have lived here for about 20 years..I thought home team rules would apply..I was all the way WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding experience with Justin And Barry
My husband and I were in the market for a new Bolt EV and stumbled upon Universal Chevy in Wendell, NC, and we are glad we did! The Bolt was in transit and our amazing sales consultant, Justin Keevert, proactively processed all of our trade in information, was straightforward in providing us with numbers, and even kept us updated as the Bolt got closer to the dealership. When picking up the Bolt, the entire experience was actually delightful! The paperwork was ready to go, there were no surprises, and we were not bullied into buying a service contract (though we were offered plenty of options). The Bolt was immaculate and on the showroom floor and once the paperwork was complete (this was seamless and Barry is such a pleasure to work with), Justin went over the car with us and we were on our way! We were so impressed by this experience that we decided to purchase my car (a Chevy Tahoe) through Justin and Universal Chevy. We had the same stellar experience as before and will be lifelong Chevrolet customers - mostly because of the dealership experience (although we LOVE our Bolt and Tahoe)! I highly highly recommend Justin Keevert, Barry Vinson, and this dealership as a whole! I am sure that the service department is just as wonderful!

Great Service Department
Very happy with this dealership! Not a mega dealership but yet all the bells and whistles. Easy to schedule appointment online, email and text confirms. Very satisfied with the work performed. Friendly and honest staff! We drive a little further for service of our Chevys but it?s well worth it!

Wonderful car buying experience
I had visited multiple car dealerships in an effort to find my next car. I wanted a bolt, but was having trouble finding one in stock that I wanted for the price I was willing to pay (with the huge sale they were disappearing quickly). I finally contacted Universal Chevrolet in Wendell and it was a smooth process. I was able to arrange the purchase over the phone, had a majority of the paperwork filled out before I arrived, and then walked in and completed the transaction after a quick test drive. The team at Universal work together in a way you don't find in other dealerships, and I left feeling like I had the best car dealership experience I have ever had. I would definitely drive further to visit them when I am next in the market for a Chevrolet.
