I brought my vehicle in for service and while waiting I was brousing the car lot when approched by sales rep. which is fine BUT they need to understand what my visit was for and to ease up on the sales pressure.

Why the 100% markup?
It's funny how every time I bring my truck in for service mechanics always find one or two burnt out light bulbs. Normally this is not a problem as I can take my truck home and replace them myself. Unfortunately yesterday was inspection day and I had to have the dealer replace them or face a failed inspection. During the process of replacing one of the break light bulbs, the plastic scrw clips which hold the light in place apparently broke off causing me to have to pay for a brand new tail light assembly. Not something I was expecting but I get it, stuff like this happens to a 7 year-old truck. What I don't get is they charged me a price that is marked up 100%. I could have gotten that same light (OEM) on line for 70-80 dollars while they charged me more than double that. They do provide quality repair service but prices on parts are ridiculous.

Intermittent service problem
I am offering my sincere congratulations to Nuno Reis and the service department at Patriot Buick, GMC. Had an intermittent problem with a used vehicle I had purchased and it seemed that everytime I brought the car for servicing the problem would not occur. Well, we finally were able to view the problem as it began to occur. Nuno and I went for a ride and within a minute had diagnosed the problem which had cause my wife much anxiety. Got the car back, took a trip to Maine and everything worked flawlessly. Was even able to get 26+ MPG with the vehcile (superseded the Federal mileage claims). Very pleased with the service, repairs and yes, even listening to Jim Shaugnessy for reccommending my purchasing the vehicle I did. Patriot will now be servicing both my vehicles in the future.

Not an accurate listing
Drove 20 miles on the strength of a car listing which turned out to be inaccurate as the car was not as described (right model, wrong level of features). My bad, I should have made sure I guess, but is was obviously not as advertised. Too bad as the people were nice, the test drive showed we had picked the right car, but the equipment package was wrong and I would have made the deal on the spot if it had been the right level of car. just a mistake I guess. But a 40 mile drive and a couple hours wasted.
