Joe Basil has been in the automotive business since 1952 selling and servicing new and used automobiles throughout Western New York. The Basil family has been a leader in this industry since purchasing their first dealership in 1967.

We have grown from a 38 employee business back in '67 to over 230 employees currently. We have done this by satisfying customer after customer year after year. I had a wonderful experience at Joe Basil Chevrolet. The salesman, Bill was knowledgeable and thorough. The process was easy and efficient. The financing was easy.

drove from Rochester to look at 2023 TRD Camry with 9k on

drove from Rochester to look at 2023 TRD Camry with 9k on odometer. Front tires were bald , front spoiler broken in 2 different areas. Inside was dirty. disappointing to drive all that way to look at a car for 34k that was obviously beat to death in it first 9k since new.

We arrived early, they took us in and registered us.

We arrived early, they took us in and registered us. Sent us to waiting room while car was being worked on. NYS Insp, oil change and tire rotation . Finished in about an hour and we were on our way. Great job Joe Basil Service Dept.

Take your business elsewhere.

Take your business elsewhere. Unless you like spending extra money and having extra stress. Had a genuinely great experience working with the salesman Justin S. Everything after that was downhill. Bought a brand new Traverse. Agreed to price and terms and trade in etc. Salesman approved it, finance approved it, manager approved it. Left with the car. 2 days later I get a phone call saying they messed up the paperwork. It was an "oversight" as I was told. Their fix to this oversight was that I needed to pay them more money.
