Unprofessional & Untrustworthy
We contacted this dealership to have a car we're having problems finding locally delivered cross country. I agreed to the delivery fee, they put a deal in writing, I know for a fact our financing is rock solid, so I was expecting to sign the deal today. Instead I get an email that they sold it out from under us yesterday, despite us having a deal IN WRITING. Completely unprofessional & just down right rude. Wasted nearly a week of my time just to have them pull the rug out from under us. I hope that was worth it. Y'all sold a car that was already sold & earned yet another 1 star review.

Mike, sorry you see it this way. We sent you numbers and didn't hear back from you for 24 hours. No deposit never a credit app sent in and no commitment from you. We informed you that the Equinox did sell in our next communication with you. You are from Arkansas and we are in Michigan, another guest came to the store and bought the car during the 24 hours that you didn't communicate back with us. I don't see how we have done anything unprofessional. We do our best to be as transparent as possible.

Terrible experience buying a car here. When i decided not to purchase the car, was treated extremely poor by Jim Braat, salesman. Very fake nice throughout the process (but would take multiple times to get any response) until we could no longer wait for the car and purchased elsewhere. Then the hostile emails started. I can't speak for the dealership, but if they allow this tactic, I would stay clear.

Had been dealing with a salesperson for a couple days...
Had been dealing with a salesperson for a couple days through text message and email, a deal was almost struck… and when he said I needed to make a decision very soon as other people were interested in the vehicle, it turned me off to the vehicle. Adding pressure to sales for me is a horrible tactic and I don’t play that game.

Taken advantage of
The CAR SALESMAN WAS AMAZING. If I was only rating him.. it would be a 5. This is me rating Tom Castle. I traded in my 2016 Chevy suburban and left with a 2019 Ford Explorer. The problem is.. We thought the manager was holding money on our trade in.. which yeah it’s the “game”. Making a couple thousand I totally understand it’s called business, but us asking for more for our trade and us being told no… and trusting we weren’t getting screwed BACK FIRED. They took my suburban in at 40k.. I had a feeling they were probably going to list it for 42-45k.. NO THE SALES MANAGER LISTED IT FOR 53k!!!! I’m all for companies making money.. but when it comes to literally screwing over the customer, it’s xxxxxxxx. We were told he wasn’t going any higher on my trade in, we accepted it and left with my new vehicle and it’s a slap in the face for this to be done to me. Times are hard right now and Any company should understand that and not take FULL ADVANTAGE of someone. I’m hoping they will make this right because i am sick to my stomach that they took advantage of me. I want to say too my truck didn’t need anything, brand new tires, PAID FOR DETAIL, oil change, breaks, rotors.. it literally needed nothing so the price didn’t go up due to service issues. I want to make this very clear, our salesmen was amazing, understanding, and went above and beyond! He can’t control management taking advantage of people like this. He did nothing wrong on his end. I’m sad to say we won’t be back. Again Tom Castle sales manager was the one that fully took advantage of me and didn’t even have the nerve to come and talk to us to turn us down on wanting more for our trade probably because he knew he was getting one over ON me!!!
