Car Wash Incident

They were extremely apologetic for the incident and behaved in a very courteous and professional manner. I appreciated their steps to make me a priority.

Stolen Items, almost certainly by dealership

On April 24th I brought my vehicle to Wheeler Service Center in Yuba City for electrical system diagnosis. On May Third I was called by them and they informed me that my car had been vandalized and that my shift knob was taken, I asked what they were going to do about it and if certain other items were still there, which was always ignored, on May fourth I drove down there to verify what items were missing, the items I noticed were missing were as follows: COBB accessport v3 $675 Atom AGS black 394g shift knob $99 HP 15.6" Laptop $700 at time of purchase DeWalt 12v USB charger $42 Note that the car has no broken windows or signs of entry, so either they left it unlocked or someone used the keys. I then notified another service advisor about these items being missing, then heard nothing until I called and asked, at that point they didn't say anything except something about the owner's son figuring it out. The next day(May 9th) I called and asked to speak to the owner's son(Cole) and he said that it was none of their responsibility because they can't verify any of those items were in the car, and that they would pay for nothing, he did discount the diagnosis labor however. This diagnosis labor would have cost them very little(probably around 70 USD) and only cost me 585 compared to the $675 the COBB accessport was worth. On May 18th I was told the vehicle was ready to be picked up(Only after I asked since they had said that it would be done on the 16th). I then picked it up yesterday, May 22nd, and was charged $300 just for them to splice 6 wires. My car still has no shift knob(I had believed that this at least would be replaced since it was certainly verified as there) and was completely trashed with papers from the glove box and from a bag in the back, also damage/scratches around the ignition. Very shortly after leaving, I realized that my Bluetooth was not working and returned to the dealership. They advised me that it would likely be a few days before they could get to it and would take at least an hour, and said it would be free of charge if they decided that it was their doing, which by all of my experience with them I knew for certain they would not take responsibility for it. So after I returned home I began removing the radio to inspect the Bluetooth module(apps2car which was installed at least two owners ago), once removed I found that the Bluetooth module was gone. So a technician had to have taken it for themselves, leading me to believe that the other theft was done by one of the dealership's technicians. Today I called Cole and he stated that even if it is under their care, in their lot, and they leave it unlocked they are not responsible for any stolen items. They also stated that they have no security cameras anywhere. He also said he conducted an investigation and said that no one should have been behind the radio and that there was no reason a tech would want it. I find it extremely hard to believe that a thief would magically open it, take all the expensive stuff, remove the radio, take the Bluetooth module, put it back together, then scratch up around the ignition. Since they were unable to provide a resolution I do not believe that they should be an authorized GM or Mazda dealer/service provider. I would advise you not to take your car here under any circumstances.

Return customer

From start to finish, help received by Elton Pomales, Scott Widmar and Aaron Snider. All listened and offered their knowledge throughout the process. Due to unforeseen circumstances hadn’t been in the market for a car in years, but time was taken to help me and was able to drive away with a deal that worked for me. .

Great First-Time Buying Experience

My daughter and I went to Wheeler on a whim. She had seen a car that caught her eye and wanted to check it out. When we got there, she found a 2016 Ford Fusion that she really liked and was within our budget. As this was her first vehicle, I was very concerned about safely and reliability, and I feel this vehicle checks both boxes. Usually I go to a dealership and do a countdown to see how long it takes for the "mosquitoes" to start hovering lol. But there was none of that here. Jose came and answered all the questions we had. He wasn't pushy at all. My daughter wasn't able to test drive the car because she's only 17, but he made sure to make her feel involved every step of the way. There was no pressure and he listened to all our concerns and we felt valued. Aaron in Finance was SO cool. We all had a great conversation about what to expect from a first car and everything was clear and explained very well. I feel this was a GREAT first experience for a new driver, and I look forward to working with Wheeler again.

Service Center

Very very poor customer service. The receptionist needs more training on how to speak with people if she?s the one greeting costumers on the phone. The dealership saw me last minute, which I thanked them for & still do to this day. Because I know it was last minute, but it was due to an emergency & I am not from Yuba City. (Not that it?s their problem, which is why that was nice of them to do) Anyways, they didn?t do what I asked & still charged me for something else. I asked for a transmission oil change with a new filter and they agreed. After paying and leaving & arriving back to my home town to take it to the shop, the shop informed me Wheeler Dealership only did a fluid drain according to the paperwork/receipt. Which is NOT what I had asked for. When I came to pick up my car, the staff were all really rude. Barely spoke with me, gave no information on what was done to my car, and sent me to the front to pay by pointing. I don?t expect much, but if whoever is reading this actually cares about improvements, I would highly consider speaking with staff about the importance of costumer service. Especially if the client, isn?t being rude or asking for something ridiculous from staff. They made me feel worse, just by ignoring me, and I don?t think that?s okay. I hope nobody gets in trouble, but I do sincerely hope that the staff gets educated more on customer service. It makes a difference when somebody gets treated like staff cares about them and their car problems. Instead of making the costumer feel like they?re annoying and a stress to their work day. Thank you for your time.

Vehicle purchase

My family and I purchased a vehicle from here and we are so glad we were able to work with Scott and Sergio. Scott was very professional and knowledgeable on the process and it was great to see that any help he needed, Sergio was right there to assist. Sergio was great in helping us find rebates as well as informing us about the credit check that needs to he done to make sure i was no terrorist. Glad it all came back clear, haha. We have purchased a few vehicles, but I'd have to say that Scott was the best and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a comfortable purchasing process. Sergio was also great and I am glad he was there to help us out. Super friendly and professional and I think anyone would be happy to work with these two men. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, do yourself a favor and go pay them a visit!

In need of new vehicle and we found it at Wheeler.

We were in need of a new vehicle. We had planned to look at all Makes and Models in two days, then decide which vehicle best fit our needs. Wheelers was our first stop. Jose Ochoa greeted us and we explained what we were planning. It just so happened that Wheeler had one of the vehicles we had planned to look at. However the vehicle wasn’t ready for sale since Wheeler just got it in three days prior. Jose checked with his boss and we were able to test drive the vehicle…we were sold, the vehicle was great. With the assistance of Jose, J. Park, Sue Vang, Aaron Snider, and the rest of the Wheeler Team, we were able to purchase the vehicle that day. We wanted to add that Jose was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and most of all not pushy. Thank you all at Wheeler for making our vehicle purchase experience easy and stress free.
