Customer

Jason and other associates were immediately on hand to help me get the car I wanted in expedited fashion. Always what I wanted, not what they had to sell.

Was in need of a new/used car

Super friendly and the customer service was outstanding. I took my parents there before to purchase 2 other vehicles and when I got mine, I was completely happy because they pulled a miracle and help make this possible. They are super awesome in what they do. I love shopping locally and this place is the place to purchase your next new or used vehicle!

No Pressure and simple transaction!

I work a typical schedule from 8am-5pm Mon-Fri so car shopping is extremely difficult for me to budget time wise. After work, the last thing I want to do is go to a dealership, have them haggle me, and lets be honest, I was going to trade in my Audi S4 for a Volkswagen Touareg at a Chevy/Mazda Dealership. Quite frankly, it sounds like a recipe for disaster. However, call me old fashion but I do appreciate a phone call and my sales person Aaron Snider called me after I sent an inquiry via CarGurus about the 2014 Touareg TDI they had on the lot. Do I go home after work on Friday or drive all the way to Yuba City from Rancho Cordova to take a look at a car that I wasn't even sold on? Well, he made it a bit easy by telling me he would be there when I arrived, have the car pulled up, and ready to test drive. So I decided to drive an hour and half up to Yuba city through prime time traffic in Sacramento. I will say he didn't disappoint when I arrived and the car was pulled up the front. I was literally handed the keys and we went for a ride. **Advice if you are buying a used car, make sure you inspect it in the daytime because I was not able to get a thorough inspection at night. Fortunately, it only had tree sap on the hood and the paint overall was fair considering it was a used black vehicle. He was able to get it corrected when I had my car detailed.** Overall, Aaron never really pressured me into buying the car, he asked me what I was looking for and the more I talked, the more I just sold myself on why I should let go of my Audi and drive an SUV. Keep in mind, I do a lot of outdoors stuff, have 2 border collies, and plan on towing a track car in the spring time. The Audi at that point was impractical and the Touareg was able to hit pretty much all of the points I needed. Overall experience at this dealership was great. 1. I had aftermarket parts on my Audi removed and returned. 2. I was missing a compressor pump to inflate my spare tire. They did not buy me a used on ebay as I suggested, they bought me a brand new OEM one from VW. 3. Jason (another sales associate) gave me a bunch of snacks while I was waiting for my Touareg to get detailed on another visit. 4. Communication with Aaron is astounding and he will give you updates during the process. He notified me when my parts were taken off, when the pump arrived, and checked in on how the car was driving. The experience has been great so far. In less than a month, I have already put nearly 2,000 miles on the car. I had to fill the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) once already, drove down to/from Anaheim towing a 5x10 Uhaul Trailer for work, and towed a BMW 3 series on a trailer. The only problem I am having with the car is getting the Homelink (garage door opener) and rear passenger headliner lights to work. I hate keeping my garage door opener in my car since I park it on the drive way or I forget it on the counter top when I leave for work. The last thing I want is someone to break into my car and have access to all of my expensive tools in the garage. It's just one of the nice features that worked on my Audi that I am trying to get to work again. As far as the mechanics, the car runs really well. Like I said, I already put about 2,000 miles on it with no hiccups. I am pretty particular so I will probably do an oil change with my brand of oil and also do a full flush of all the other fluids. If they have a vehicle that I need or in the market for a Duramax, I know where to go! Thanks again Aaron for the amazing service!

Worth traveling to if you’re buying a vehicle!!!!!

I never thought it would be so easy and, well, enjoyable! Randy, the fleet sales manager met us and introduced us to our new/used Tahoe. He made us feel comfortable. Do you know how important THAT IS? NO PRESSURE. It was GREAT! The facility was modern, well appointed, clean, well organized, and most of all everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was friendly and helpful. Even employees that weren’t involved with us! Randy, the fleet sales manager, took us for a test drive and pointed out the features of the vehicle, leaving no stone unturned. Once we negotiated a SUPER DEAL, he introduced us to Joel in finance, and he had everything so organized it was no time at all before we were on the road! I didn’t have to go to the DMV or my insurance company. They took care of everything! It was well worth the drive from Chico! Wheeler Auto Center is definitely a well managed facility and team that works seamlessly to take the fear and pain out of purchasing your next ride!

Wonderful Experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Wheeler with my new purchase. From the negotiating with J to the walk around with Randy and the financing with Joel, it was a pleasant experience. It feels like they are trying to get a customer long term and not just for the sell of the vehicle.

Treated badly

We bought a brand new Suburban LTZ in 2016. Three years and 67,000 miles later the transmission is toast and I am stranded all day with my 3 children waiting for a tow truck. They never offered me a loaner vehicle even though they had my Suburban for 2 weeks. The warranty ran out at 60,000 miles and although we had the extended warranty, we had to pay $1000 out of pocket for a GM transmission. I had the car serviced regularly. I took excellent care of the vehicle. Now I don't drive it because I can't trust that my children are safe in the Suburban. I just learned there is a new recall on this model due to a problem with the brakes. I had to learn this from the news as I have yet to be notified by the dealer. I will never again buy a car from Wheeler nor will I purchase a GM.
