We originally came in to look at the new Tahoe.

We originally came in to look at the new Tahoe. Angela greeted us and opened up the truck so we could look went for a drive. Great vehicle. We came to the conclusion we really needed a smaller vehicle to run around in. We looked at some of the smaller cars and really liked the Trax. Went home decided we needed to see the Trax up close. Called Angela and she drove one to our house! I drove it fun little car has all the or most of the bells & whistles of the big cars & trucks. The next day we went back & bought it. Angela was a dream to work with. She is very professional and very professional! I would rate the dealership a 5 also. Happy customers I love our Trax.

No call back from service after many promises to do so?

No call back from service after many promises to do so?In reference to a recall on my radio etc?I spent 3 different visits to have this service satisfied? approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours for each visit? I felt irritated each time? And now my irritation has gone from being irritated to a safety issue? I travel from my ranch in Tucson, Arizona by myself as a 75-year-old man, with this situation has become crucial? As my OnStar mechanism is not operable? Parts department is blaming the service department? The service department is blaming the parts department for ordering the wrong product? I have no idea what is happening? I need to have access to OnStar in case of an emergency? Because in traveling from Tucson/Marana there are areas that there is no cell reception? This has become a serious issue for my safety? I purchased my t Denali there, and I?ve been very loyal to this dealership for my service.. someone there has totally dropped the ball

So many people and businesses try to rip you off and

So many people and businesses try to rip you off and steel your money. Horne dealerships are no different. Just a warning to all thinking about buying from these dealerships. Horne is not trustworthy and tries to sift every penny from their customers. I guess it was my fault not asking more questions about the good deal, I thought, of a oil change contract which turned into a 500 dollar scam. The deal was for 10 oil changes for 900 dollars. The finance person, who if you ever bought a vehicle has to talk to you whether you want to or not NEVER told us if we sold the vehicle or did not use the oil changes by 35000 miles or 3 yrs it would expire. Who in their right mind would ever agree to that? I guess I did, not reading the whole contract. My bad. I sold the vehicle one and a half yrs later in early 24 and wanted to use the oil changes on my new vehicle but they said I couldn't. I had to cancel the contract which btw had a 50 dollar cancellation fee which was also not told to me. My bad again. The finance person checked the box in section 4 of 3 yrs or 35000 miles to use the oil changes or it expires. Again which was not told to me. My bad again. So to make this story a little shorter after all said and done they only refunded to me 100 dollars of the 600 hundred I thought I was going to get refunded. I did use 4, So the finance person Shawn who yelled at me on the phone because he said I kept interrupting him said if I read the contract of horne ripping me off, all the way, I would've known that this could have happened. It was really him that was interrupting me all the time and believe it or not I didn't. I did ask to speak to his manager but he said he couldn't find him and said he didn't have voice mail either. Okay, I know where he stands on this. So before you buy from horne dealerships please go to others or at least compare others and I'm sure you will READ and ask the questions I didn't because they won't inform you that one should know. If I help one person from being ripped off from horne this review did what it was intended to do. I don't know how they sleep at night. There is a very nice heated place for them when the time comes.

A/C Service

A/C was not working at all. I had hoped it just needed system evaluation and recharge but Rodent damage was found. A wire to compressor was chewed and air ducts were clogged with a mouse nest. Vents had to be thoroughly cleaned and wire repaired.. Then system evacuated and recharged. Took 5 hrs. My only gripe was the car was done and brought up to me, then it took 30 minutes to get the paperwork done, and they had replaced my engine air filter which I had told them not to do as I had a new one at home. (At a much lower cost) This took another 15 minutes to correct. They removed the new filter and sent me home without any filter at all!. I?m a 90 minute drive from home and have 16 miles of dirt Forest service road to get home. Did not like not having any filter at all to make that drive. Plus the aggravation of the 45 minute delay in leaving dealership. The waiting room was so cold I was half frozen by the time I left!

Service

To start off. Back 6 months ago they told me my 5 tires were rotated they were not. In May I scheduled my next service our truck was just under 30,000 miles. I told the service advisor about the last tire rotation issue, and he said he would make sure they did my spare as well. I also wanted any parts that were changed out, not fluids or oil filter. The service advisor then told me I needed this long list of service's to keep my warranty up. So I said yes. The bill came to $858.74, wow well I want my warranty good. When I went to my truck I saw no air or cabin filter that the invoice stated was changed, I was not happy and I went home. This is when I brought out my owners manual to check on what service was needed at this time with 30,000 miles. They change my transmission and brake fluid which did not need to be changed at this many miles. I am not sure if my air or cabin filter needed changed because they were not given back to me as requested. They did rotate all 5 tires, the service advisor told me he watch them, which I have a hard time believing that, they were very busy that morning. I also was a service managers for years, and none of my advisors had the time to be in the shop watching a tech do anything. I spoke to the service manager James and he stated he would look into the issue and get back with me. James called me back in a couple of days which was fine and he did fine that some of these service we spoke of should not have been done. This was on June 1st and we gave him our credit card information so he could refund the amount of $380.00, he stated he would have it ran in the morning, Friday the 2nd. I thank him. I checked the following mid week nothing, no big deal takes several days for a credit. Checked over the weekend nothing. I called on June 12th to speak with James, was told he was not in and did not have an answering service were I could leave a message. So I then asked for Dan the General manager he too was unavailable, as well as no answering service. The lady told me she would pass on the messages as well as sending it to another department due to I was looking for this refund. Several hours went by and a very nice lady named Lori called and as me about that I wanted to cancel my warranty. I was like no no not at all, I went through the my story, and she assured me she would get this taken care of. She did call me back in a couple of hours, she had found my information on James desk and will refund the money that day. Lori also sent me an email showing a copy of the refund. In ending I feel that Horne auto is in need of some much needed training as well as better communication between departments as well as customers. I had back to back service's that did not go well. I am sure you can find my survey from last time. I know from my own experience, the service department does drive sales. If someone is not happy or does not trust the service department very good chance they will buy elsewhere. I do wish to give a shout to Richelle in sales she keeps me up to speed with emails, very helpful lady. She reached out to me after my last survey. Also Lori who was very helpful.
