Patrick Sarver was great!! I would recommend big m! Friendly and helpful staff. He answered all my questions and he dealt with my crazy mom.
Been buying cars here for 20 plus years, Mark Langley did a fantastic job, overall BigM is the best!!! I'll be back again when I'm ready for... another car.
Everything about our experience was exceptional and flawless. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. David Akers is truly one of a kind! I recommend... Big M Certified Pre-Owned to everyone! You will not be disappointed!
You guys were great to work with, thank you for your wonderful comments. Enjoy your drive!!
Great experience with Big M and Mark Langley. They offered the best price within 100 miles of Lexington. Absolutely with the drive. We will be back!
My wife and I had been shopping for a 2017 or newer Pacifica for weeks. No dealer wanted to take the time, negotiate and they used the old drag it out... process. We found the Pacifica on line, went to dealer met Lewis (outstanding salesperson), completed test drive, negotiated and close the sale in less than 30 minutes. The one problem we noted on the vehicle was fixed the next day. Swope Dodge in Louisville lost a long time customer, Big M in Radcliff gained one. Thanks for the honest service.
I called about availability of a used car I found online. Spoke with a sales representative that assured me the car was still offered for sale. Not able... to come down from Louisville for 2 days I was told I would be sent a text with the address where car was located. Never received any texts...I arrived 2 days later and the car hadn't even been detailed. There was a mice nest in the spare tire well and lots of droppings. Came back next day and the car had been about half way cleaned up. Mice poop still thereTest drove the car anyway for the weekend. Came back to purchase the car and made an offer they countered ridiculously and I had to walk. The "art of haggling " hasn't been taught to these people. First rule on a car lot...NEVER LET THE Customer WALK! No follow up was made either. Disappointed with Big M In E-town
Their "instant cash offer" is a sad joke. I received a call from a Big M representative, don't remember her name. She was very pleasant... and told me that Big M was very interested in my type vehicle because they didn't have any used vehicles of that type on their lot. She set an appointment for me to be at the Radcliff store at 6pm and told me to specifically ask for Dennis or Justin. She said that she would forward all my details to them and let them know I was coming. So far so good..... I arrived at 6 and was asked if I needed help as soon as I entered the building. I explained that I was looking for either Justin or Dennis and told them I had an appointment at 6.......... "Oh, you don't need to see them, I'll help you..... What do you need?" So, I explain the situation and after 15 minutes of looking at my vehicle, taking pictures, and making small talk I'm led to an office to sit and wait while they go "see if someone wants to take it for a test drive".......after 10 minutes or so of waiting (no test drive took place because my keys were laying on the desk the entire time) the sales person comes back into the office and says, "wait here, I'm going to go what kind of offer we can make you". Another 10 minutes of sitting alone staring at the wall...... Now, the trade in value (not retail or sale price, the TRADE IN value) range for my vehicle through Kelley Blue Book (the same one they claim to use) is $6,075 - $8,628. The NADA guides "ROUGH TRADE IN (lowest)" value for my specific vehicle, mileage, options, etc is $9,825 with an AVERAGE trade in value of $11,000......... Big M offered me $3,500 for my vehicle. I told her that I couldn't accept that, it was less than half or less of the book trade in value. She proceeded to tell me that $3,500 WAS the book value and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I explained that I had just looked it up this morning and I quoted the exact numbers to her, both from KBB and from NADA......... She sighed, rolled her eyes and said, "let me go check, I'll be right back"....... She left the room and then came back within 30 seconds and the response was along the lines of "the offer wasn't negotiable, take it or leave it..... $3,500 was all they would offer and that was that." I totally understand they're in business to make money, I totally understand that they have to leave room to mark it up the price and make a profit when they sell it...... but to offer $3,500 was an insult. Then to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about as I literally sit there holding a print out of the trade in values that I'd looked up that very morning from the very same source that they claim to use........ Then to top it off, they acted like I was just an ungrateful jerk and had wasted their time because I didn't gladly accept the $3,500 offer. I've been to Big M twice in the past year, once to the Etown store, and today to the Radcliff store..... both trips left me with a very sour taste.
I set up an appointment to look at a car with them since I lived two hours away. The scheduled three appointment so I left home south of lexington on... my way to look at the car. When I get to the dealership to look at the car they inform me that they sold it about 15 minutes before I got there and refused to do anything to make it right. They have no concern for any cusomers and only care about your money. I contacted the GM and his response was I don't care and I quote "At this point, I am not interested in your business at any of our dealerships."
Would never recommend to anyone. I'm very disappointed and regret going here. Rude customer service from the "specialist". Manager was nice enough. Still... wasn't wasn't worth being lied to continuously and being treated rudely.
We are extremely sorry for the experience you had at our dealership. This is a matter that we take very seriously and we will be looking into it to ge...t to then bottom of it. We hope to have a chance to regain your trust in the future. If there is anything that we can do, anything at all to rectify the situation, please reach out to our General Manager Rodney Chancey. Best Regards, Stephen Montgomery
Contacted Big M about a used car they had, after confirming they had it I made the drive out to look at it. The car seemed in order, so I asked if they... could give me a trade in offer on a vehicle which I hadn't drove out. They said yes, so I sent in pictures of my trade with all the info they asked for. They were slow to respond but the next day I did receive a response and they confirmed the options on my vehicle were correct. I never heard any other correspondence from them after this. I checked on Cars.com and Big M's own site and a day later saw the car I looked at was no longer listed. So clearly they sold the car while they were in the process of making me an offer on my trade. I placed no deposit, so I had no expectation that it might not sell in the meantime however rather than tell me the vehicle was sold, I received zero correspondence. No one asked me if there was anything else I was interested in or if I might still want to trade my vehicle to them, if they would still make an offer on my trade, or anything. Cars sell and that's fine, but the least they can do is inform you that the vehicle you asked about is sold when they're actively working through an offer on it. Most dealers will do this, so I was really surprised to have heard nothing back. I do not live close to this dealership, so I don't see myself going back if I can't count on reliable communication from them.
Kelsey, we are sorry to hear about this unfortunate circumstance. We first want to thank you for sharing this with us so that we can work to get bette...r in all areas. It is a rare occasion when a vehicle that has an appt is sold but it does sometimes happen and we should have been more diligent in reaching out to you to let you know. We hope that we can have another opportunity to earn your business and once again thank you for sharing and our sincere apologies for not communicating the proper way. Let us know if we can help by possibly bringing your next vehicle to you to look at. We are here to make things right!
