Had an issue with the front exhaust on my 2023 Enclave.

Had an issue with the front exhaust on my 2023 Enclave. Took it in to the dealership without an appointment on Friday. Shontelle checked my vehicle in and work started on the same day. Parts were ordered and vehicle was finished on Tuesday. She also inquired if GM or LDS would cover the repairs since there were past issues with this but her attempt was not successful. I appreciate the service and friendly staff at Barker service they are always attentive to my needs.

I had a GMC Texas Edition and in less than a year the

I had a GMC Texas Edition and in less than a year the driver side ball joint failed. I ate the cost to have it repaired. When I got it back that day they failed to tighten the lug nuts and it broke multiple lug bolts. When I brought the truck in that day to have the lug bolts repaired they told me it was my responsibility to retighten all lug nuts, so again I ate the cost of those repairs also. Within a month of having my truck back, the passenger side ball joint failed. Instead of working with me and seeing if they had faulty ball joints on my truck they told me this was my fault. For a truck that was less than a year old I really expected a better quality. For the service department and costumer service this was the worst experience that I have dealt with. Since this time I have bought 2 GMC trucks from a different dealership and will not buy from Barker until they make this right.

This is the fifth (5th) vehicle that my wife, Laurie, and I have bought from Barker Buick GMC in Houma. I know the business staff and sales personnel so well that they feel like family. We were extremely impressed with Kali Tanner's ability to break down and explain the complex technological advancements in today's car industry. She knew exactly what type of paperwork that needed to be collected, reviewed, and signed for the sale of our 2025 GMC Acadia AWD AT4.

I received an OnStar warning that my battery or starter

I received an OnStar warning that my battery or starter was failing. I called the service department of the dealership which has sold me cars for over 4 decades who failed to see this as a problem. I was offered an appointment on 2.25. And was told if the car failed to start, have it towed to them and they would check it on 2/25. Unbelievable. I went to another GMC dealership and have a new battery tonight. Won’t go back
