Outstanding, simply outstanding

I can't say enough about the staff at Gillespie Chevrolet. They made being an out of state customer an easy and enjoyable experience. I can't say enough about our salesman, Gary Noda and the Finance Manager, Tom Thurston. This was the fastest that we ever made it through the financing process and Tom was very thorough. Out of all of the Salesman that we have dealt with over the years Gary is, by far, the most knowledgable and personable. He went out of his way to make sure that the 250 mile trip from PA was worth it! He went over every detail that the car had and we never had that at this level of detail. He made sure that the out-of-state process with the NY DMV and the process to get things transferred to PA were taken care of. He followed up with us via phone on the following Monday and took the time to make sure that we are totally satisfied with our new Suburban and answered a couple of questions. The people who evaluated our trade-in, cleaned the car, and made sure that the tank was filled and tire pressures correct are also top notch. I highly recommend this dealership and will return if the need arises.

Awesome

I can't believe how well I was treated here. They took the time to explain everything to me. Another thing is how friendly Dave Morabito is. He sat down with me and even went over the numbers to make sure I understood them.

Prejudice at it's finest

Dealer was extremely rude when inquiring about vehicle on lot. This all started just from submitting a simple request online. Told me to stop sending request(only sent one and my applicaiton) and that the car was sold. I called the next day (11/14/2022) and was told that the car was available by a sale. Reached out again on 11/15 and was told the car was sold but the sales person needed to check, then the manager that had been emailing that the car wasn't available answers the phone and goes "who is this!" loudly. I go "you don't talk to people like that" he ignores me and goes, is this Justin, I told you the car isn't available aggressively. I told him that another one of his associates told me that the car was available yesterday, the then over talks me and goes" Well I told you the car isn't available". So I ask "is the car sold" he goes " it's not available" I ask why" eh goes that doesn't matter". Also I asked him why the car was still on the website" he goes, he doesn't have to take and down. The managers name is David Morabito and I' am 100% sure this was an act of racism because I have never came across any car sales person/manager that has been that rude and dismissive of a costumer. I hadn't even submitted an application for the car before he initially started off being rude. The user knew that I was black because of my picture that is associated with my email. I was immediately turned down once he saw my race.

This review is totally untrue and uncalled for. We will aggressively pursue all means to have this type of untruths removed. This individual has repeatedly called and emailed my dealership, harassing my employees. He has been told repeatedly that the car was "sold". He will not take "unavailable" as answer. We are not sure why. Apparently by calling us names he thinks this form of intimidation is going to advance his cause. Anyone reading will realize this is just another form of "getting even" when actually no harm or nothing wrong was done.

The Best Dealership Ever.

Why Do I "Do Gillespie"?

I've bought two (2) cars now from Bobby Gillespie and had all my service work done on my cars there too. Wouldn't even think of anywhere else. Thanks for every good deal there Gillespie and associates.
