My car broke down in front of their garage. We were on our way to Minnesota for vacation. Birdnow offered us a loaner to use for the week and said they would fix my car while we were gone. They called me first thing on Monday to report the problem and immediately fixed my car at a very reasonable price. They did not charge us for the loaner! We had it for 6 days. What a gift and we were able to enjoy our vacation! The kindest most honest people I have ever met. Thank you so much!!!

Easy to buy... My car has too many issues.
Bought my car and have had nonstop issues with it shortly after purchasing. Overall purchasing the car was very easy, it always usually is though. My issues started with my Chevy Trax 2017 when I bought it at byrd now in monona Iowa. The car I test drove and seemed fine at the time but when I left back for California the car started having a weird sound when turning which still November 2019 suffers from. I went to get it repaired but the Chevy dealer near me told me it'll take a couple days which turned into a much longer ordeal and they also lied to me. Now this isn't about my Chevy dealers here this is about byrd now in monona because they sold me what was a brand new vehicle with so many issues. Today I've had a recall from improperly welded control arms, my car makes a loud weird cranking sound when turning since basically when I bought it , and now just in the last few weeks the vehicle has a very toxic chemical smell coming from the vents and hood. Nobody seems to know what the problem is at the service center here so I am stuck with possible toxic fumes that I can do nothing about. Cliff notes Turning the wheel makes tire make loud crank noise Recall of improperly welded control arms Toxic smelling odor that service centers can't identify All on a brand new vehicle (bought new) Byrd suggested I bring it into them which isn't even a possibility of me driving across country so they can look at it. I won't ever buy something from here again.

When having my 2018 Equinox serviced for an oil change and inspection I was told that the tread depth on the tires indicated that they should be replaced. Lori provided me with a quote for two different brand of tires. Since the Equinox came with Michelin tires I asked for a quote for a set of Michelin tires. Bill said that he thought that there was a recall on that particular tire due to excessive tread wear. He confirmed that there was in fact a recall and that I would be eligible to participate in the recall. Due to the fact that Lori and Bill took the time to research if there was a recall it saved me several hundred dollars. Employees like this are an asset to your organization and you are lucky to have employees like them.

2008 chevy tahoe
Bought my vehicle a week later the steering angle sensor went out ($360 part) and they wouldn’t even pay for it to get fixed.. dont buy from these guys
Levi, Your 2008 Tahoe was thoroughly checked over before you purchased it. That is the same for every vehicle we sell. However, the problem you had could have happened in 1 mile of driving or 100,000 miles. There wasn't a way that we could have found the problem before you bought it because there wasn't a problem. That is why we offered you a warranty so it would take care of problems that can just occur with no warning. As far as the rest of your accusations I'd like you to contact me at 563-539-2061 because there is obviously a misunderstanding. I will even have an option for you that if you are not happy with your vehicle, we will buy it back from you.

We bought a used car from Monona and the rewards program and service is tops. The loaner cars are not crappy looking cars. We've even driven a new pickup for a loaner. Friendly employees. I recommend them to everyone.

We showed up on a Saturday at noon and they treated us very well, took a test drive and were told to take our time! We were dealing with Lee and he was not pushy and made a great deal on a great used truck! we didn't end up spending our whole day there they were quick with everything! And we were back out enjoying our Saturday with a new truck! Thanks guys

Scheduled repair service for my vehicle. Repair costs were more than I wished to spend on the vehicle. I discussed my needs with sales person Tom Matt and he showed me a few vehicles that met the criteria. We ended up purchasing one of the vehicles that same day. We were very satisfied with the sales , service, and office staff throughout the process.
